Chapter 054
Akira's POV
"Who is there?" I froze in my spot, running backward avoiding where the voice was coming from, not knowing where that direction would lead me, all I wanted was to hide and come out when the bearer of that voice finally retrieved his step, and boom, I bumped into someone else
"Fuck..." I curse, running my hand on my forehead before tilting my head to see who had this rock chest like Mr. Williamson, I have not gotten over that hard chest of Mr. Williamson and now I am hitting another. I gulped my saliva, trying to control my racing heart before looking at the pair of eyes that were staring at me, his gaze moved to my window, and his cold expression was there, his eyes were reflecting that wolf eyes from the previous night. I shake my head, I don't know the reason, I always associate his eyes with that of the wolf that saved me.
"Where are you going? Sneaking out like a teenager, how old are you again?" I glared at him. Didn't he see my CV, my age is there, why is he asking again?
"I am not sneaking out, I just..."
"Oh please, now you are going to tell me, you needed fresh air?" I shrugged my shoulder, I wasn't going to say that.
"I want to go home," I said.
"Then you should have told me instead of sneaking out,"
"You wouldn't let me..." he ruffles his hair in frustration
"Why wouldn't I? You are not a prisoner, I only don't want you going out because Ethan is still out there,"
"He is immobile and I could take care of myself," he sighed
"You can't take care of yourself,"
"I can," I snarled at him, and he huffed.
"Fine, get inside. I will ask Meredith to bring you to Vida..." He grabbed my hand
"No way..." I swatted my hand from him, "No, I am not going to Vida, and don't ask me where I am going, cause I am not telling, I am an adult I could take care of myself" I snarled.
"Then you are not going," he said pulling my hand, I wriggle my wrist from his clutch but shit, he was too strong and I am not able to get away from him, I thought I could use my teeth. I bit his hand and he flinched letting go of my wrist before I could take my first step he grabbed me almost immediately, slamming my back against the wall, he moved too fast but that didn't stop me from doing what I wanted to do, I position my legs between his thighs, bending it a little and swinging it almost immediately, hitting his groin.
"What the..." He growls, letting go of my shoulder with his hand now clutching his groin. I bit my lower lips, I didn't mean to hit him too hard but I guess I put in too much force than I imagined.
My heart skipped a beat, seeing the expression on his face but I squared my shoulders and aimed for the gate, "What is going on?" Mr. Williamson the butler asked with that stoic expression, seeing everyone standing with their jaw dropping.
I pushed one of the security off my way, "Akira..." Meredith called but I wasn't stopping, I increased my step like some athletes.
I know I will be safer here with Ethan's constant threats on my life and his desperately wanting to have me on his bed, I don't know what to do and how to keep myself safe.
Wolfie is the only one that could protect me but I am going to lose my necklace if I had to follow his ways of protecting me. He is going to lock me up here and I don't want that, I don't want to be locked here, I don't want to involve him in my mess, I know Mother and her tantrum if I stay one more day here without getting to her, I will kiss my necklace goodbye, and I am not going to let it.
I don't want Mother to pawn my necklace. With the way she talks about wanting to pawn it, it might just happen. If she says something, she always carries it out, and she will never back down on her words. If truly that necklace is from my mother, then I must get it and keep it safe, so I can find my biological mother.
"Ahhh..." I curse as I feel my body slammed against something and I fling away, hitting my bum on the floor for the second time. I glared at Wolfie. His height towers me, he is too big for a regular male on the street.
"What are you? Some beast?" I asked he paid no attention, he tried to grab my hand, but I moved it so fast that he ended up crashing to the floor, I shut my eyes as it was obvious he was going to fall on me. I heard a slam on the floor, was it his legs, I battered my lashes only to see his hand rooted to the floor, suspending his weight from me, he was like a man having pushed up.
The sight was adorable, gosh, this grumpy CEO is handsome and then it hit me, I was supposed to meet my mother, I pushed him off me without warning and he went flying.
"What the fuck?" It was his turn to curse, as his body clashed with the floor but he was like an iron, nothing hurt him, he was back on his feet and chasing after me, I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.
"Akira, stop this madness," he grabbed my wrist from behind, taking me down with him, I couldn't count the number of times that my body had slammed against his and we both landed on the ground. He cage me in his hand not wanting me to crash this time. I guess he took the hard part since I wasn't feeling the hurt.
We rolled on the grass before he finally got hold of himself. Not minding the show, Wolfie and I are putting up, I still want to get away from him, and he grabbed my ankle that was it, I fell flat on the ground and my face hurt, I think I just got a broken nose or should I say face.
"Ahhh..." I cried out in pain, the screaming was enough to show, how bad my pain was, I tried to move from my spot, but his jaw tightened, as his eyes darkened.
"Fuck..." He cursed rushing to me, and grabbed my face.
"Let me..." He said wanting to do what only he understood, "trust me..." His face came close and his tongue came out of his mouth
