Odd
I was so irritated, I was surprised there wasn’t smoke coming out of my nose. Char was probably the hardest person to talk to. Even with all of the customer service experience I had under my belt, one sentence out of her mouth had me ready to tie my hair back and ask her to meet me outside. Taking a deep breath, I ask Randy for another shot. I can feel Char’s gaze on the side of my face, but I really don’t care. The bartender, makes me another set and I down it so fast, my belly warms.
I glared at her before turning on my heel without another word and make my way toward the VIP rooms. I pass by one of the girls on her hands, while a client hods her thighs while she grinds her pussy in his face. When I’m this irritated, I think of Chance. It was easy with him, I could unleash all of this pent up frustration, and he’d be a good boy for me. How the hell was I going to do this with Shane? Goosebumps broke out along my arms at just the thought of doing anything remotely close to sexual with him. A door swung open and a hand shot out. Gray eyes stared down at me as I was dragged by the arm into the second VIP room.
“Chance!” I hissed. My body collided with his and instantly, his arm wrapped around my waist. My breasts pressed against the hard plane of his chest as his hand rested on my hip. His body was firm against mine and I melted into it without even thinking. My heart stopped thumping sporadically now that I knew it was Chance. He wasn’t a threat, nor was he someone I had to be guarded around. The door closed behind me and I placed my hands on his chest. Pushing against him, I was surprised when he didn’t budge. Odd.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“Fuck, I… I had to speak with you,” he murmured gruffly.
“You could have just talked to me. You know? Say hi, ask me if I have some time,” I said. He chuckled, but his smile didn’t reach his eyes.
“You’re right. I couldn’t help it. I’ve been… a mess thinking about you. I was worried after you left last night. I didn’t know I wouldn’t be able to see you again,” Chance said.
“You’re seeing me right now. I’m not quitting,” I said.
“It felt like I wouldn’t be able to… have time with you again after I talked to your manager. She didn’t explain anything, just hit me with the bullshit about you being book out for the foreseeable future,” he said, the frustration was clear in his tone.
“I have been booked out for the next year. It isn’t even up to me, but that doesn’t mean we won’t ever spend time together again,” I soothed. My hands slid up his chest and wrapped around his neck. It wasn’t often that I comforted Chance, but I knew what our relationship meant to him.
“She offered me a free session with one of the girls and refunded my money without even consulting me. I don’t want anyone else but you,” Chance snarled. His grip around me tightened.
“And you know I appreciate you. I’m sorry she did that, but you know I have a contract with the club, right?” I asked. He nodded. Chance was normally in control of his emotions outside of our scenes. It was endearing seeing him like this over me. “And when did I ever say I was done with you?” I asked seductively.
“You didn’t, but—”
“I don’t remember giving you permission to speak. Are you already acting up?” I asked calmly. His eyes widened before a dazed look filled them.
“I apologize, Luna,” he said and he lowered his chin respectfully. There we go.
“It’s okay,” I said soothingly. “I’ll forgive you. I know it’s only because you’re a good boy. You know how much I love your loyalty.”
He audibly gulped and nodded, keeping his eyes down, but they just locked on my breasts. His eyes opened and he growled. Fucking growled. Since when could humans growl? Before I could open my mouth to speak, I was pushed up against the door, his hand held my wrists above my head. He’d moved so quickly, I hadn’t even been able to track his movement. What the actual fuck is going on?
I struggled against his grip but couldn’t get free. My brows furrowed as confusion washed over me. I may be a female wolf that hasn’t shifted in a long time, but I should still be stronger than any human man. Chance’s gaze was on my breasts and I followed his line of sight to what he was so focused on. Oh. The bruises, the hickeys around the curve of my breasts, and the bite mark. His gaze darted to the rips in my dress on my arms and down to where my the flesh on my hips were visible. His eyes turned cold as they dropped to my thighs, where I knew he saw the dark bruises I couldn’t hide. He lowered his head, his lips pressed against my neck.
“What are you—”
His head dipped and he kissed each mark on the exposed flesh of my breasts. The words died on my lips with the tenderness he showed me. My body tightened and my thighs clenched as brought one arm up and kissed each visible one before doing the same with the other. I should stop him. I should tell him he’s not allowed to do this. I could order him to stop, with one word, he’d push away from me. But I couldn’t bring myself to utter the words. I couldn’t bring myself to make it stop and with that Chance continued. Lightly, he ran his thumb over my wrists, he didn’t need to see them to know the condition they were in. Why was his show of tenderness bringing tears to my eyes?
