Asshole

Ethan kicked my legs wider and I struggled against his hold. He lowered himself so that his head was parallel to my belly. Blood from his face stained my dress as he slid his nose up over my rib. Ethan froze over my chest, his teeth dug into the material and he yanked it down, exposing my breast. The night air nipped at my skin and caused it to pebble. His mouth opened and I turned from him so I was looking at my window. I bit into my bottom lip knowing that he was going to bite me. I wouldn’t cry out and I wouldn’t plead with him. Canines pierced my skin and I muffled a cry as he bit down on my soft flesh.

Asshole.

His tongue darted out and licked the blood as it seeped from the open wounds his sharp teeth just caused. I flinched away from the unwanted contact. I fought the automatic response to whimper as he withdrew his canines from my breast. There was a rumbling in his chest that sounded pleased at the mark he’d left. His nose pressed against my neck next and I froze.
His lips moved against my skin and I hated that I felt relieved. I didn’t want him to mark my neck. That would brand me to him and I hated the thought more than I hated him. Releasing my bruised lip, I let out a chocked cry as the reality of my situation really began to set in. This was happening and it didn’t matter how much I fought and I would fight. It didn’t change that I would not be able to get away.
For the first time that I was willing to admit, I was scared. Ethan scared me. I wanted to scream out for help but I knew it would be futile. No one was going to help me. No one was going to break into my room and rescue me. Ethan was my partner and this was the night he’d finally get what he’s been wanting.

Me.

Ethan’s lips closed on my neck and he sucked. He lowered his body to mine. My body conformed to his but it was wrong. My body was tense, my hands shook, and I wanted to run.

I’d had my chance… or had I? Would I have been able to get away? Was there ever really a possibility that I would get away? Haven’t I always known that this was going to happen? I have. I’ve known and I’ve dreaded it. My fate was always over the horizon, time had flown by, and the day had finally arrived.

“Ethan,” I whisper quietly.
He doesn’t show any signs of hearing me, but I know he did. He continued to suck and lick my neck, his hardness growing against my thigh. I could feel the contents of my stomach threatening to come up, but I did my best to stop the fear from showing in my voice.
“Ethan” I call again.
“Mm,” he murmurs against my neck.“Please don’t do this,” I plead.
“And why would I do as you ask?” Ethan asked.
“Because I don’t want to,” I said.
“And why should this matter to me? You’re mine. You’ll get used to it,” Ethan said.
“Because if you want me to want you, you’ll wait,” I push.
“Do you think you’ll ever want to be with me?” Ethan asked. He lifted his head and stared down at me. “Do you think if I wait that you could ever want me?” I bit my lip. I didn’t answer and I didn’t have to. He scoffed at my expression. “I didn’t think so.”
“If you care about me you’ll wait. Don’t you want us to have a chance? Don’t you want me to want you? If you do this,” I swallow, “it’ll never happen. I’ll hate you.”
“Don’t you already hate me, Princess?” Ethan asked. I flinch at the nickname. He doesn’t get to call me that. Noticing my reaction, a sinister smile pulls at the corner of his lip.
“We won’t be able to turn back after that. If you do that, we won’t have a chance,” I try.
“Who says I want a chance?” Ethan asked.
“Please…”
“Adealine… Adealine… Adealine… I know you’re the daughter of the alpha but I didn’t know you were this spoiled. It’s best you understand this from now on. I don’t care what or who you want for. It doesn’t matter what you think. These possibilities you’re telling yourself. None of it matters. What I say matters. What I say is law. What I say will be will be.”
“Ethan, please.”
My voice cracks and his eyes search my face. I don’t see any hint of remorse or pity mirrored in his eyes. Instead, it looks like he’s considering something. He shook his head and lowered his face to mine.
“We stood in front of everyone and announced that you are mine. Everyone seems to know that you belong to me but you. If I give in, you won’t know your place, and I can’t have that. I can’t take home another mans woman. You’re mine and I’m going to make you mine. I will be taking you home, Adealine, as the future Luna of the Crimson pack,” Ethan said.
“But-”
His lips crashed against mine and the breath was stolen from my lungs as he feasted upon me. I kicked and fought against him but it only seemed to make the bulge against my hip grow harder. He put both of my hands together and held it tight with one of his. With his other hand he rolled me over onto my stomach.
“Ethan! Let me go!” I screamed.
I lifted my feet and tried to kick upward in hopes of hitting some part of him. He stood between my legs. It seemed hopeless but I wouldn’t stop fighting. I’d never stop fighting. I shook my shoulders left and right as his free hand grabbed my dress and shoved it up over my back, revealing my behind.
“No! Damn it, Ethan! No! I said no!” I screamed. Big fat tears dripped down my cheeks and my voice cracked.
“Scream,” Ethan said from behind me. “Scream as loud as you want. We both know that no one is coming through that door.”
