Chapter 561: Of course, it's two people making love.
Gillian really didn't like the idea of taking care of her in-laws, but she had a good impression of Josep and was grateful to him for bringing her and Tommy together. She could totally handle living in the same neighborhood but not in the same house.
After showing Josep the house, Josep was particularly fond of it, and Tommy quickly spoke, "If you like it, I'll handle the purchase procedures tomorrow. Shall we go eat now?"
"The last meal you treated me to was way too fancy. We're not strangers, no need to waste money like that," Josep suggested. "Isn't your house just ahead? I haven't been to your place yet."
"Sure, let's eat at home," Tommy agreed.
So the three of them went to Tommy's house. At that moment, Vivienne had just finished cleaning and was about to start cooking. Seeing them return, Vivienne quickly greeted them respectfully, "Mr. Reaves, Ms. Emberlyn, you're back."
Seeing someone else at home, Josep was quite surprised. Tommy quickly introduced, "Uncle Josep, this is our housekeeper, Vivienne."
"Yes, she's been here for a while, and her cooking is delicious. Uncle Josep, you should try it later." Gillian added.
Gillian was a particularly picky eater. Although Vivienne's cooking wasn't as good as Tommy's in her opinion, she still found it quite good.
For someone as hard to please as her, finding the food acceptable was no small feat. Moreover, Vivienne had been working very diligently, keeping the house spotless and being very perceptive.
"So she's the housekeeper," Josep relied, glancing at Vivienne again.
"Mr. Reaves, I'll go start cooking now." Vivienne uttered.
"Alright, my uncle is eating here today, so make a few more dishes." Tommy instructed.
"Okay, Mr. Reaves." Vivienne quickly went to the kitchen.
"Uncle Josep, my place is small, make yourself comfortable." Tommy spoke, serving him tea.
"I'm not a guest, no need to go to so much trouble," Josep replied, looking around the house. "This place isn't small; it looks quite spacious."
"I did some remodeling. It's just Gillian and me living here for now, so it's fine." Tommy explained.
"Yes, but if we have kids in the future, it won't be enough," Gillian quickly added. "When Tommy and I get married, we'll definitely need a bigger place."
After all, she planned to have three babies with Tommy, and with only one bedroom, it definitely wouldn't be enough.
"Remodeling?" Hearing that Tommy had done some remodeling, Josep became curious and looked around. Seeing the large gym area, he was quite surprised.
"You moved the gym into your home?"
Hearing Josep's question, Tommy smiled sheepishly and explained, "At the time, it was just me living here, so I remodeled it to my liking. I didn't expect..."
"He didn't expect to have me," Gillian replied happily. "We owe it all to Uncle Josep for how smoothly things went. I've always remembered that. Uncle Josep, not many people can win over my dad. You're amazing."
"Your dad is a general. I don't have the ability to win him over. It's Mr. Emberlyn's understanding and generosity that made him not hold a grudge against Tommy."
"Yes." Tommy quickly responded.
"Anyway, Uncle Josep, you're amazing. Why don't you be our matchmaker? If my dad comes again, you can deal with him, and maybe we can get married soon!"
"Be your matchmaker? That's a good idea." Josep spoke.
"Great idea, let's do that." Gillian agreed.
"Uncle Josep, the food is ready. Let's eat." Tommy said.
"Alright."
The three of them sat down at the dining table. Vivienne had prepared a table full of dishes, and just by looking at them, they were mouth-watering.
"Mr. Reaves, Ms. Emberlyn, the food is ready. If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now," Vivienne voiced.
"Alright," Tommy responded. "Thank you for your hard work."
Josep watched Vivienne leave and then asked, "Isn't she your housekeeper? Doesn't she stay here at night?"
"As you can see, there's only one bedroom here, so we don't have the conditions for that," Tommy explained. "Uncle Josep, let's eat."
"Yes, try Vivienne's cooking." Gillian added.
Seeing Josep take a bite, Gillian quickly asked, "How is it? Tastes good, right?"
"Yes, it's quite good. Vivienne is a very skilled cook."
"Of course, I found her, so she must be good."
"Yes, you're the best," Tommy praised her, taking a napkin to wipe the oil from Gillian's lips. "Stop talking and eat."
"Okay." Gillian replied with a giggle and started eating.
After dinner, Josep left. As soon as he was gone, Gillian jumped on Tommy.
"Now it's just the two of us."
"And then?"
"Then, of course, we make love!" Gillian answered, kissing his lips. "Make love with my future husband."
Tommy smiled indulgently.
The hospital's recruitment notices had all been sent out, and the response was beyond Alaric and Stellan's expectations.
"Stellan, look," Alaric spoke, showing her the current data. "There are so many applicants, far exceeding my expectations."
"This shows that Mr. Knight's strategy was very effective," Stellan praised. "I've also contacted a few industry experts in the past couple of days and hired a dozen medical professors. With so many doctors applying, the remaining chief physicians can be selected through interviews."
"Yes, I'll leave the daunting task of interview reviews to you. Once all the medical staff are in place, we can officially start operations."
"Yes!" Stellan replied excitedly. "I can't believe I'm going to be the director. Thank you, honey, for making this possible for me."
"Helping my wife achieve her dreams is what I should do. By the way, have you called Josep? Did he find a house?"
"Of course, I called Josep. He found a house in the same neighborhood as Tommy."
"In the same neighborhood as Tommy?"
Arizona is so big, and Josep ended up in the same neighborhood as Tommy?
"It's a fully furnished apartment. We should visit Josep."
"Alright, let's find a time to go," Alaric agreed.
"Okay," Stellan uttered, sitting down at the computer and opening the application materials of the doctors. "I need to start working now."
