Chapter 634 Suddenly Feeling Nauseous, Don't Want to Eat Anymore!

When Tristram heard Grace was back, he jumped up to greet her.

"Grace, weren't you overseas for an art show? What brings you back?" he asked as she walked in.

Grace, with her average height, slim figure, and an aura as gentle as a morning mist, had a soft and tender vibe. She was Tristram's current wife, his second.

"It's Dad's birthday. How could I miss it? I came back as soon as the exhibition wrapped up," Grace replied.

"I have a birthday every year. If you're busy, just focus on your work. No need to worry about this old man," Leopold said, then quickly added, "Grace, come sit down. The luncheon has just started."

Aurora had been watching Ryder, noticing his tightly clenched fists and trembling body.

Grace approached and paused when she saw Ryder. She hadn't expected him to be there; he had been a recluse for the past two years, never attending any events.

"Ryder, you're here too," Grace greeted him lightly. Ryder didn't look up, acting as if he hadn't heard her.

"Grace, let me introduce you. This is Ryder's current doctor, Aurora Ryan," Tristram said, introducing them. "Ms. Ryan, this is my wife, Grace Morris."

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Rivers," Aurora quickly stood up.

"Is this Ryder's doctor? So young?" Grace was genuinely surprised that his doctor was such a young woman.

"Aurora is just a sophomore in college," Elder chimed in. "But don't let that fool you; she's quite skilled."

"That's impressive, Aurora. Your medical skills are already so advanced before even graduating."

"You're too kind, Mrs. Rivers."

"Alright, now that everyone knows each other, let's sit down. It's just us today, no need to be formal," Leopold said.

After sitting down, Aurora glanced at Ryder again. He was still clenching his fists, trembling even more.

"Tristram, you're not getting any younger. You should think about giving the Rivers family a grandchild. Give your dad something to do," Elder suddenly said during the meal.

"Yeah, you're in your thirties. It's time to have kids," Leopold added, putting down his utensils and looking at the couple. "I've asked you before, and you said you were trying. It's been a while now. Why isn't Grace pregnant yet?"

"Dad, having a baby isn't something you can rush. It happens when it happens," Tristram replied.

"I've been waiting for years. If we wait any longer, you'll be forty. How can I not be anxious? Grace, have you been to the hospital? What did the doctor say?"

At this question, Tristram and Grace exchanged a look, while Ryder's eyes darkened with a hateful expression.

Aurora, observing the family, remembered Ryder once telling her that Tristram was infertile. Was he lying, or...?"We've checked," Tristram quickly responded. "Dad, everything's fine. Grace had surgery for a fibroid before, and the doctor said she needs more time to recover."

"Yes," Grace echoed. "Don't worry, Dad. Once I'm fully recovered, I'll..."

Before she could finish, Ryder slammed his utensils down with a loud crash.

Grace was startled and looked at him.

"Ryder, why are you throwing things again?" Leopold scolded.

"I suddenly feel sick. I don't want to eat!" Ryder said, enunciating each word.

"If you don't want to eat, then leave!" Leopold was furious. "It's my fault for inviting you today!"

"Yes, it's my fault for coming!" Ryder shouted, throwing his bowl and wheeling himself out.

"I'll take him back," Aurora quickly stood up, but Leopold stopped her. "Aurora, let him go alone!"

"He's still a patient, and I'm his doctor. I'll go with him. Enjoy your meal, Mr. Rivers. Happy birthday," Aurora said, rushing out.

Ryder was already being helped into a car by the servants. Aurora quickly got in as well.

"Ryder, what's wrong?" she asked, noticing his worsening tremors.

"Get away!" Ryder roared, his eyes bloodshot, fists clenched, and body shaking violently. Was his mania acting up?

Aurora didn't dare speak further, carefully observing him. Fortunately, the villa wasn't far, and they arrived quickly.

After helping him out of the car and into his wheelchair, Ryder was still trembling.

"Ryder..."

"Get away from me!" Ryder shouted, pushing Aurora to the ground.

"Dr. Ryan, Dr. Ryan, his mania is acting up. Don't provoke him. Stay away until it passes," Eva ran out, pulling Aurora back.

Aurora watched as Ryder, unable to control himself, seemed to want to break things but had nothing to smash. He tore at his clothes and hit his wheelchair.

Aurora rushed into the villa, grabbing a needle from her medical bag. She approached Ryder and quickly administered it to an acupuncture point, causing him to pass out.

"What's wrong with Mr. Ryder?" Eva asked.

"He's just asleep. Eva, help me get him to bed."

"Okay."

They laid him on the bed, and Aurora covered him with a blanket.

"Eva, I'll write a prescription. Get the medicine and brew it for him."

"Medicine?" Eva asked.

"Yes."

"Alright, write it down. I'll get it," Eva agreed reluctantly.

After Eva left, Ryder was still asleep. Aurora lifted his pant leg, revealing the horrific scars from his injury.

When Eva returned with the medicine, Aurora took it. "Thank you, Eva. Just leave it here. He'll take it when he wakes up."

"Okay."

As Eva was about to leave, Aurora couldn't help but ask, "Eva, can I ask about Ryder and Mrs. Grace Rivers' relationship? It seems complicated."

If his psychological trauma was related, she needed to understand.

Ryder, regaining consciousness, heard Aurora's question and pretended to stay asleep.
