Chapter 107
Olivia is staring at me, tears are trickling down her face and that's when I realize that my tears have been falling all along but I was too livid to notice. I was busy arguing.
"Get out, Olivia!" I shout. Her name tastes so bad on my tongue. Immediately she turns on her heel and leaves, Bobby escorts her.
Now it's just my dad, my brother and I.
"Roxy and Vic, I am truly sorry for what happened to you, but I would suggest that we sit and talk about everything. Get to answer each other's questions. I am ready to tell you everything, only if you hear me out," dad speaks.
I glance at my new wristwatch and it says it's 11PM.
How?! How long have we been in here arguing?
"Not now, we have to go home," I sigh avoiding eye contact.
"Home? This is home," he says, gesturing at the huge room and I know he means Wolf Street.
"We can't stay here," Vic says.
Dad sighs and clears his throat. "I know where you currently live, I don't know much about that family but they must be treating both of you well."
"Actually, it's two families. Vic mostly stays next door, at Sylvester Stone's house," I say and shrug.
"Sylvester Stone? The General?" his eyes go wide.
"Yeah. His son Scott is our friend, my best friend actually," I say nonchalantly.
We all stay quiet for a moment, not even moving a muscle.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for going haywire on you. It's because of Olivia and all that's been said here. I'm sorry for the person that I've become," I apologize.
"Don't apologize for anything, I understand how you feel and I can't blame you and you shouldn't apologize for who you are," dad says nonchalantly.
"I'm sorry too, dad," Vic says as he takes a step forward towards dad.
"And I am sorry too... I've really missed you," he whispers.
Tears are burning the back of my eyes again and my feet take control, in a second I'm running to hug him. I've missed him so much. Vic joins me and we hug him tighter than we've ever hugged him before.
I sniffle.
"Daddy, we missed you too," I say and I feel one of his arms go round my shoulders and squeeze me lightly. When we let go, I wipe my tears with the sleeves of my jacket.
"It's quite late and I doubt you've had anything to eat. Please, stay and we can talk in the morning. I've missed your company." He looks so honest and less frightening now.
I turn to face Vic and he sighs and shrugs.
"Alright, we'll stay, but we have to make phone calls, so we have to atleast leave the gates for cell service." He tenses. "Don't worry, we can't outrun Boogie and his gang. We'll just be notifying our friends that we're okay," I assure him and he nods and we head back out the long hallway.

Kyrah's POV
Her phone must be off or something. I've been trying to call her for the past two hours but I can't reach her. Scott tried calling Vic but he is unreachable too. What might have happened? Is she okay? Maybe I should have gone with her.
Kye came a few minutes after they'd left and found Wren with us. He wanted to surprise Roxy so he didn't tell her he was coming. He's worried sick right now!
"This is devastating guys. It's almost half past 11PM and both their phones are off. We've texted them multiple times but still... I hope they're okay," I say as I lean on to Wren's shoulder.
"I hope so too," Kye says staring at the front door, he's waiting for her to open that door anytime from now.
"I know her as a survivor, I know they'll be back," Wren says confidently.
As I'm busy scrolling through my news feed, Kye's phone rings.
"It's her!" he says in joy and puts her on loud speaker.
"Roxy? Where are you, are you okay, babe?" he asks and there's a two second silence.
"Yes, I'm fine and so is Vic. We won't be home tonight. It's a long story," she says and I frown.
"What long story?" I ask.
"Clearly you, Kyrah, know a quarter of it but I'll tell you guys about it later," she says. What is she talking about?
"Where are you?" Scott asks.
"Is Vic with you right now?" Wren asks.
"Only Kyrah will know where I am. I'm at Wolf Street and yes, Vic is right here, let me put him on speaker," she replies.
"Wren? I was just about to call you. I'm sorry you couldn't reach us, this place doesn't have cell service, but I promise to make it up to you when we come back," Vic says.
"We're safe so don't worry. We'll call you tomorrow, okay? Kye, will you wait for me?" she asks.
"We all will. Take care of yourselves," Kye says as he stares at his phone.
"We will. Goodnight guys," she says and hangs up. Then everyone turns to face me.
"Where's this Wolf Street? We've never heard of it before, mind explaining?" Scott asks and I take a deep breath. It's about to be a long night.
