Chapter 123

"Someone's glowing like the sun this morning," Carla compliments and smiles at me as soon as I enter the kitchen, then she continues to pour coffee into a sky blue mug. I pull a stool and sit by the kitchen island, rubbing my eyes. I'm still sleepy, even though I just took a shower and got dressed up.
"Good morning to you, Carla. How was your night," I smile back.
"Oh, I'm the one who's supposed to ask that question, not you. But I don't want the details, I didn't hear a thing," she says while shrugging and I sigh.
Yesterday was a wild day for me. Dealing with Sabrina, and then diving into bed with Blake, we later had dinner which Carla prepared and I gotta say, her baked potatoes and turkey are the best! After dinner, obviously, Blake and I went back to continue our love making. It was quite intense up in his room, and the temperature was too high that we even switched on the AC. Everything that we did last night was wild, I even gave him a fellatio! I had never done it before but last night, I did it more than twice and he loved it. Even though it felt kind of weird to me, but I'm sure I'll get used to it with time.
When I flash back to how his entire manhood was within me, color fills my entire body and the temperature rises.
"Hello, Kyrah? I'm talking to you." Carla snaps me back into reality. "You're smiling like a teenage girl who just got her first kiss." She grins at me and I clear my throat.
"Sorry... He's just amazing in every way. I love him," I say with a wide smile on my face.
"I guess I'm the only one who's late for breakfast." I turn to find Blake leaning on the kitchen door, shirtless, with navy pyjama pants. "Why didn't you wake me up?" he asks and moves to where I am and leans to drop a kiss on my cheek.
"I thought it was too early for you," I say as my eyes follow him to where he pulls a stool and sits right next to me.
"It's 9A.M, quite late if you ask me," he says and smirks and I blush.
"Okay, I don't want to interrupt, but, breakfast is ready. Coffee for everyone, some buttered toast and sausages, enjoy." She places everything she mentioned neatly in front of each of us.
"Thank you, Carla, you're the best," I say and sip some of my coffee. "Perfect!"
"Of course, she's the best cook I know. Even when I'm not around, I always miss her home cooked meals," Blake utters, carefully slicing his sausage with a knife while supporting it with a fork, and he shoves a piece into his mouth and chews while looking at me.
"What?" I ask.
"You're beautiful. If only I could wake up next to you for the rest of my life, I would always be in awe every single morning," he coos and my entire body warms up. He dips one hand into his pocket and pulls out my phone, "Here, your dad called while you were downstairs–"
"Did you pick up?" My eyes go wide and my hand, which is holding the coffee mug, freezes right in front of my mouth.
"I wouldn't, it would get you in trouble." His words sting a little. Yes, I'm almost twenty two years old and my parents treat me like a thirteen year old. I guess it's because I'm their only daughter. That's the life you get when you have strict parents and you're their only child.
I take the phone and switch it on, a text is on the notification bar and I open it.
*We arrived safely. Your mother is in love with this place, I doubt she'll ever want to leave. Check your bank account, there's something I dropped in there for the time we'll be gone. Don't forget to text me the list of your friends by the end of the day. I'll send you the event's theme as soon as I get it.
Love, Dad.*
The text says.
I turn to Blake and observe him for a moment. Carla is busy washing dishes.
I'm not sure if Blake is in the right state to go to any public event. Everyone knows him and his parents. I want to invite him but I'm sure he'll decline. Currently he can't even leave his house without being followed around. I would have really wanted him to come as my date, but I don't want to pressure him at all.
"Everything okay?" he lifts an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Yeah, everything is fine," I lie.
No! Nothing is fine! I want you to be my date in an upcoming event but you can't come because the media will never let you have a great time and I respect your privacy so there's no need to tell you about the event. There's no point in telling you if you won't even be there.
I sigh inwardly.
He just needs some time off. Seeing how broken he was when I arrived here yesterday made me realize that he really doesn't want his family to fall apart and he wants to keep his parents together so badly. I'll just let the whole story about that upcoming event slide.
After having breakfast, Blake heads upstairs and comes back hiding something behind his back. My curiosity doesn't allow me to wait, so I leave the kitchen island and walk towards him.
"What's behind your back?" I cock my head to one side. He smiles and licks his very sweet lips, then he moves closer.
"Turn around," he says and I oblige, "Hold your hair up." I do as instructed.
He then places the cutest necklace I've ever seen, around my neck and when I look down on it, I realize that this is not just a simple necklace that you can get at a cheap jewellery store.
"Turn around," he says again and I turn to face him, his blue eyes glitter as he smiles. "It looks perfect on you."
"Thank you, sweetheart. It looks so beautiful and shiny. It must have cost you a fortune!" I gasp while holding the little locket between my thumb and forefinger. "I love it!"
My eyes are getting watery and I try to keep the tears from falling.
"I'm glad you love it. It's a fourteen carat gold vermeil engraved initial locket. Look closely at the writings at the front," he says and I glance at the little words.
Till death do us part ~ B. It says. I rub my thumb on the words, fighting back tears. This locket is definitely expensive. It's made of real gold.
"Oh, baby. I love you so much. Thank you." I pout and throw my arms around his neck and he pulls me closer to him.
"Promise me one thing," he whispers and I pull back from him, to see his face.
"Anything," I say.
"Promise me that even when we're not in each others arms, you'll always think of me. There's a photo of us inside that locket, so whenever you feel like our relationship is abit rocky, just look at our first photo," he finishes and plants a kiss on my lips.
"Aww!" I'm honestly lost for words.
"Never let me go, no matter what," he says and I nod my head.
"Forever till the end of time," I say and kiss him gently.
