Chapter 159
"Can the car get fixed?" I ask.
"It's not like a bulldozer went over it, Kyrah. Yes, it can." Roxy rolls her eyes.
"I want to give it to Jim–"
"Whoah! Hold your horses. Are you sure about this?"
"Yes. They don't have a car, Jim and Tim. And Tim once told me that he usually borrows a car or hires one to transport his decks and speakers and other stuff to gigs. So... If I give them that car, I'm sure it'll have sorted out a problem or two. What do you think? Plus I don't need the car at all, we both survived without any car and look at you now, owning a sleek ride. I can always borrow it right?" I wiggle my eyebrows at Roxy and she smiles.
"Yeah, just like we sometimes shared your car, then we'll definitely share mine. And your idea is a good one. I'm sure Jim will be happy to share it with his brother. I'll call Bobby to come over to pick it, I know a couple of good mechanics at Wolf Street, they'll sort everything out and make that car brand new again. Anyway, let me take a shower," Roxy says.
"I'll make pancakes." I grin at her.
"Atleast this time round I won't stop you." She grins back.

When Jim and Tim arrive with Pizza, Roxy arrives just a few minutes later from the foster home and joins us for lunch. Scott and Vic are also with us and once we're done with lunch Tim clears his throat.
"Kyrah, I wanted to talk to you alone but, Jim told me you all don't keep secrets from each other so... I guess I'll start talking," he huffs.
Everyone's eyes are on him, curious to hear what he has to say.
"You all know I'm a dj and I've been to various gigs. Sometimes I dj and sometimes I just take my equipment to an event and stick around till the event is over. So, Blake has been hiring my equipment, but he's never allowed me to dj at his place. He always calls other dj's to do it. One day, one of his dj's tried to run away with my decks. He had already loaded the decks in his cars' trunk and I caught him red handed."
"What?" I ask, my brows shooting upwards in surprise.
"Let him finish," Scott says.
"Blake and I got into a fight. I got angry and went to his living room and smashed alot of things. Expensive things. He wanted to call the cops on me," Tim explains, his head lowered.
"Vic and I did exactly the same thing a few days ago, but it was his dad who called the cops. But that's a story for another day," Roxy says.
"So what happened?" Vic asks.
"Well... I had smashed some large antique vase and I had no idea that Blake's mother had got it as a present from Sabrina. Sabrina was also at the party and she got to know. So the two asked me to choose between being arrested and paying them back. I chose to pay them back with the little I earned. And when Sabrina noticed that you were dating Blake, she became furious and asked me to get rid of you in any way. But I refused."
I am not even surprised at all. That's what Sabrina would definitely do.
"I knew that my brother and Kyrah are very good friends and I didn't want to upset him. When I refused, Sabrina started to call me randomly to places and then surprisingly, one of you guys would be there, especially Kyrah. I knew what her plan was. She knew that if you saw her with me, you'd think that–"
"It was Jim! Oh my God! I always thought it was Jim all along. Jim hadn't told us he had a twin. Why though?" I ask.
"My brother and I weren't in good terms after what I did at Blake's house and he wasn't happy that at times I'd hang out with Sabrina. I only did it because I didn't want to go to jail. Sometimes I'd pull a huge grin on my face when I saw Blake, just to show that everything was okay and as soon as he left, I felt miserable. I lost all my friends because of those two, I almost lost my brother. Then that day when you guys summoned me here, thinking that I was the one telling Sabrina about Kyrah's whereabouts, I felt angry. So I made sure I made more money, with Jim's help of course, and paid everything up. And that was it."
"I always wondered how Jim was switching moods all of a sudden. And I knew Jim never talked to Blake, but it was you." I bite my lower lip, letting the information sink in.
"I just wanted to make things fully clear. I've observed all of you and I came to know that you are all good people and I didn't want to cross you in any way. My brother says you're the best group of friends he's ever had since kindergarten." Tim chuckles.
Roxy moves to the couch where Vic and Tim are seated and sits between them then looks at Tim as her hand goes around his shoulders.
"On behalf of everybody, I'd like to say that we're glad you told us everything. You just said you lost all your friends but just so you know, you just gained the best circle of friends on earth!" Roxy hugs him and he lifts his eyes and looks at me, waiting for anything.
"We're good, Tim. Thank you for your honesty." I stand up and hug him. "You can always count on us. The thing is, we still don't know who used to tell Sabrina where I was, but soon enough, we'll know. The truth will reveal itself." I sigh.
"Thanks for lunch by the way," Vic says. "Oh, and you can always come over with Jim at Scott's for video games. Tyler does it all the time."
"Speaking of Tyler, anyone seen him lately?" Scott asks. "Marco-Polo!" he jokes and we laugh together.
"I bumped into him a few days ago at the supermarket. He's good," Roxy says and her phone rings. When she answers, she just says "okay" and hangs up.
"It's Bobby, open the garage. Everyone else, follow me. We have a surprise for Heckle and Jeckle," Roxy says.
Outside we find Bobby standing at the porch and we greet him, and we head into the garage.
"So, Jim... Tim, I thought that you guys needed a car to transport your equipment to your gigs and I'm giving you this car," I say as I pat the battered vehicle.
Tim's eyes widen at the sight of the car.
"Oh, I went crazy a few days ago and damaged it after Blake and I... Well you get it."
"Bobby is here to pick the car and he'll fix it up for you guys, for free, as soon as it's done, we'll give you a call to pick it up. How's that?" Roxy asks.
Jim's mouth is wide open. He's surprised.
"You guys better not be joking," he says.
"This ride will really help us alot!" Tim says, a wide grin forming on his face.
"Thank you so much, Kyrah and Roxy," they say in unison and I smile.
"Alright, hand me the keys, I'm taking this baby to get fixed," Bobby says and I drop the keys in his hand.
"Can we change the color? If that's okay with you guys, yeah?" Tim asks just as Bobby gets in the car.
"It's your car now, you can have it in any color you want. But if anyone asks, tell them you bought it from me," I say.
"We'd like it black please," Jim says, trying to hide his smile. "We've always dreamt of driving black cars."
"Sure thing," Bobby says and he starts the engine and leaves.
Jim and Tim pull me into a very tight hug.
"Guys, guys! I can't breathe," I complain when the hug gets tighter.
