Chapter 25

Blake stands there infront of me with his hands in his pockets, eagerly waiting for a reply.
"Err, maybe another night, am not fully recovered yet... Babe," I hesitate.
The last word makes him pull me into a hug, he seems so excited.
"So now we're a thing, huh?"
"I guess so." I shrug and he plants a small kiss on my lips and Roxy coughs loudly.
"Class time!"
I turn around and Scott is a couple of inches away from where Roxy is seated. He is walking fast, I wonder why. I then realize they've finished their lunch and I haven't had time to eat anything. I am not that hungry though.
Blake gives me one last hug and snakes his arm around my waist as we head to class, Roxy is following us from a distance and when I look back, she winks at me and I giggle.
"What?" Blake asks.
"Oh, nothing babe, I'm just excited for our first lecture together that's all."
We walk down the hall and for sure, heads are turning and mouths are dropping as we pass.

Sabrina is nowhere to be seen today and I am more than happy to have a Cruella-free day.
I kiss Blake goodbye before he drives off and Scott and Roxy catch up.
"I'm headed out to the mall, I need to get some stuff, guess I'll see you guys later," Roxy excuses herself.
"Okay, take care of yourself, and don't steal anything or beat someone up," I yell at her and she yells back.
"You know me too well!" she disappears out the campus gate and I realize Scott has the door to his car open for me.
"Thanks." I get in and off we go.
Checking the time on the console, Scott glances over at me and I shrug
"What?" I ask.
"Mind going somewhere? I'll take you home before dinner," he says.
"Er, okay. Where are we going?" I inquire.
"You'll see," he says.
Then he takes a sharp corner and takes another lane that leads us to the beach. It's been quite a long time since I went to the beach and I am amazed by Scott's idea of driving me here.
Once we're out of the car, we walk for a couple of minutes till we get to the sandy beach and behold, the deep blue ocean is right in front of me. The rays of the almost-setting sun greet us and a light breeze blows and I swear it takes my soul with it. I feel like I am in a whole new world.
The wind brings fresh air to my nostrils and I just can't help but smile and open my arms wide. It not only fills my lungs with rejuvenating oxygen, but also my mind with a hope of having the best moment of my life after a long week of staying indoors.
Waves of water splash onto the coral reefs as the tide moves further away. I am in love with this beautiful scenery.
"What do you think?" Scott asks, his head held high as he takes in a deep breath.
"I love it. It's been years since I visited this place," I tell him.
"I love it too. I come here often."
"How often?" I cock an eyebrow and he chuckles.
"Every weekend, Kyrah. It just calms me," he coos and I smile warmly at him.
My hair is all over my face when the wind blows and he pushes it behind my ears.
He bends down and takes of his shoes.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Getting ready to hit the water."
He is now busy folding the ends of his jean trousers and I do the same and Scott cocks his head to the side while looking at my feet.
"What?" I lift both eyebrows.
"I love the white pedicure, looks cute," he coos.
My cheeks flash red, and I hide my face by looking away from him.
"Last one in the water is a loser!" he yells and speeds off towards the water and I realize that I'm also supposed to run so I follow suit.
He runs faster and I try to run as fast as I can but sadly he gets there before me.
"Not fair," I whine and pout at the same time. My feet are now in the warm water and I love the feel of the wet sand below my feet.
"I'm sorry, I'll let you win next time." he winks at me then smiles and for once, I just want to drool. He looks like a super model. Like the ones on magazines or advertisements.
"Alright then," I agree.
"Come closer," he asks me to move a little into the water and I do as told.
Three steps forward and before I know what he's about to do...
Splash!
He splashes water on me.
"Hey, why'd you-" my words are cut off when he does it again.
"That does it!" I splash more water on him and this continues for a couple of minutes with both of us laughing at the top of our lungs. Then we finally stop.
Scott moves closer to me, his height overpowering mine. I look up to him. His hair is barely wet while mine is completely the opposite. Our clothes are also wet.
He looks at me, calmly and whispers.
"It's getting cold and I don't want you getting sick."
Before I can respond, he sweeps me off my feet and I squeal as he runs to the shore with me firmly in his arms and my arms around his neck.
He gently helps me get on my feet and the sand caresses the bottom of my feet once again. We're back where we left our shoes. So I grab mine.
"Last one to the car is a loser!" I scream and run off, leaving him behind.
"Hey, wait for me!" he yells back while picking up his shoes too.
He chases after me for a couple of minutes and when he gets closer, he grabs my good arm and he pulls me behind in a way that leads me landing and smashing my body onto his hard being.
I look up and he's staring down at me and I smile shyly.
"I guess I'm the loser now." he pouts and I giggle.
Seconds of silence pass as we stare at each other and he breaks the spell by hugging me tight.
His scent makes me want to drool.
"Let's go back home," he says, releasing me from his mighty arms. One of his arms rests across my shoulders as we walk to the car and I sigh heavily as I look up at this tall, masculine human walking next to me.
