Chapter 137
Saying that I'm shocked is an understatement. I can't even describe what I felt the moment I noticed Blake and Sabrina. The feeling is rapidly surrounding my heart and strangling it. Blake's jaw dropped seconds ago and we're just standing there staring at each other with nothing to say. My eyes carefully scan his outfit. He's in a black, slim-fit suit, his blazer with golden flower prints, expensive shoes and a watch and he's now holding his golden half face mask. Sabrina's yellow ball gown is not as large as mine but my eyes quickly shift from her the moment Blake takes a step forward and Scott takes one too and stands next to me.
Blake looks as shocked as I am. None of us expected to find each other here and none of us told the other anything about attending this masquerade ball.
Sabrina gasps.
"Color me shocked! I didn't know such peasants are allowed into such places. I bet you sneaked your way in." She laughs and I sneer at her.
"Sabrina, leave them alone!" Blake barks at her but she doesn't move, instead she entangles their fingers together forcefully and tries to pull him away but he refuses.
"If you want to leave, go alone," Blake says.
Scott is now standing protectively next to me, waiting for any signal so that he can charge. I can tell that this night, will end in a very rough manner that I didn't see coming.
"Kyrah, what are you doing here?" he asks.
"Same question back to you and why are you here with that... that bitch?" I question as I point at Sabrina. Blake ignores my question and reverses it back to me.
"Why are you here with this prick, huh?"
"He's my best friend! How many times am I going to tell you that? He's always with me and the others too!" I yell.
"Oh, the other peasants are here too? Great, this is the worst night–" Sabrina gets cut off.
"For once, just shut that hole in your face!" Blake points at her as a warning. He turns to me and asks, "Why didn't you tell me you were coming."
"Neither did you... This conversation is pointless. I have nothing to say to you." I turn quickly but he reaches out and grabs me by my forearm, pulling me backwards. Scott pulls Blake's hand from me and pushes him.
"Didn't you hear? She doesn't want to talk to you!" Scott growls.
"She's my girlfriend–"
"If she truly is then why are you here with another woman, whom you've been seen with so many times. What game are you playing?" Scott asks.
"This is none of your business asshole!" Blake fires and turns to me, "Kyrah, let's talk this out, alone... Please." He tries to take me away from Scott but Scott stands in between us.
"She's not going anywhere with you," Scott thunders as he takes his mask off and throws it down.
"Who do you think you are? Get the fuck out of my way!" Blake charges and pushes Scott so hard he almost falls but he gains his balance in seconds.
"Stop! Stop this nonsense immediately!" I order and roughly take off my mask and angrily throw it away.
"What did I ever do to deserve this, Blake? Why do you keep breaking my heart like this? I thought you and I were finally going to be happy but it just got worse than ever. You keep showing up with the very same bitch that you know I detest. Why?!" I yell as more tears cascade down my cheeks.
"Sweetheart, please. I can expla–"
"I have waited for a long time for you to explain why you and that slut are always all over each other but you never say anything. One moment you're with me, the next you're with her. What do you take me for? I'm not a doll, I have feelings and you keep hurting me over and over again. We haven't even dated for a year yet I've been through hell with you. You're pathetic!"
"Let's just talk–" I cut him off again.
"Shut. The. Fuck!. Up! Even if we were to sit down and talk it out, you'd still cheat on me with that miserable bitch. It hurts, Blake. It fucking hurts to see you two together like this. I love you but it seems that you belong to someone else." I turn to Sabrina. Her face is now expressionless. People around us are beginning to direct their attention to us.
"She's nothing to me. You're the only one I love, Kyrah. You know that!" he says and kneels down in front of me and Scott shakes his head.
"Please, try to understand me. This is not how I wanted it be. I swear," he says.
"You always say that." I sniffle and wipe hot tears off my face. "You say that she's nothing to you yet she's always the reason why we fight. I have tried to fight for this relationship but you always let me down each time. Just so you know, I have never, ever, cheated on you–" he cuts me off as he ascends.
"Oh really? If that's true then why in the world does this prick get to have all of your attention? I've seen you laugh at his jokes, you ride in his car yet I bought you one. He even goes into your room! Who knows what sins both of you have been doing in there! Canoodling perhaps? Hmm?" He scowls at Scott.
"Scott and I have nothing going on and just so you know, you'll never be the gentleman that Scott is. You'll always be a pathetic liar, a manwhore and a fucking rich kid with a dysfunctional family! A fucking loser, do you hear me? A fucking loser!" I yell until my throat hurts.
"Leave Blake alone you freak!" Sabrina walks towards me. I had forgotten she was still here.
"Sabrina, get back!" Scott warns and she stops.
"It's okay. I can handle this asshole. Bring it on, Sabrina," I hiss.
She laughs out loud.
"Really? Poor thing. You can't even satisfy your man in bed." She laughs again. "That's why he always runs back to me." She giggles.
"That's just a pathetic lie. Well, what do you have to offer him? Fake boobs, fake lips. Probably a fake vagina too. Don't think about messing with me or else I'll burn your plastic little body parts down!" I fire. .
"Fucking bitch!" she gasps.
"Come at me. Let's end this once and for all," I say as I take a step forward.
"Ladies please, don't do this," Blake says and he pulls me away. I turn to face him and my arm flies right across his face, leaving a very hot slap on his left cheek. The fucking audacity of this fucker! How the hell does he even think that he can stop me from punching Sabrina when she's the cause of all of this in the first place?
