Chapter 139

Scott's POV
Even after Kyrah warns him not to follow her, this bastard is stubborn enough to do so but I won't have it. I step right in front of him and push him with very little effort and he stumbles backwards. What a weakling.
"What is wrong with you man?" he yells, holding onto his bloody nose that I just broke. His entire face is slowly turning darker due to the heavy punches I laid on him tonight.
"She just told you to stay away!"
"Fuck you!" he spits bloody saliva onto the floor. "She'll never be yours!"
"We'll see about that, you imbecile," I say through gritted teeth as I descend on him with tight fists and attack him mercilessly.
I have watched him mess around with Kyrah's feelings and I did nothing. I've been so close to tearing him into pieces, so many times in the past, but I always let it go. Never have I ever laid a finger on this stupid man, but tonight, is the last straw. He's crossed the line and I'm glad that now he knows not to mess with Kyrah again. Because if he dares to touch her, I will break every bone in his body. .
As I fire multiple blows onto his weak body, I am pulled off him by two security men who try to drag me outside but I push them off me.
"Don't touch me! I can't take myself out," I say and they pick Blake up.
When I get outside, people are staring at me and my bloody fists. I scan around for any familiar face.
"Scott, over here!" I hear Vic's voice from my right and I spot him standing next to the limo we came in. I run over to him.
"Where's Kyrah?" I ask, concern and worry clear in my voice.
"She's inside," he says.
"Everyone else?" I ask.
"They're all inside. Come on, let's go," he says but just as I am about to enter, I hear a weak Blake shouting from behind us.
"Fuck you Scott Stone! Fuck you! You're an animal!" he yells and falls onto the green mowed lawn outside.
"I'll take that as a compliment," I say and I get in, Vic follows and shuts the door and our driver, Bobby, drives off.
Inside, I'm seated next to Kyrah. I've never seen her this broken and helpless. She's lying on the window, staring outside at the dark streets, quietly, not moving a single muscle. She's stopped crying, but she looks numb. Everybody else is quiet, no one wants to speak of what just happened. I want to touch her, to comfort her but for now I'll just let her be.

Kyrah's POV
I feel like the world is spinning, my mind is busy replaying the unfortunate occurrences of the night. It's way past midnight and I'm cold, but I can't even open my mouth to say anything. I feel tired and shattered. My throat is sore from all the yelling. All the zeal and strength I had when we arrived at the event, has left me. Now I'm just a cold, heartbroken weakling, waiting to get home and cry my eyeballs out.
The question that's stuck at the back of my mind is... Why?
Why me? Why did it have to be like this? Why does everything bad happen to me? Why this year? My life was perfect before I started talking to Blake... But the answer to all these questions I have is one. Sabrina. She's the cause of every bad thing that has happened to me and my friends. She told me to stay away but I didn't listen. I should have listened, but I didn't know anything that was going on between them. He always said he loved me but every time I lost hope when Sabrina came in between us. Saying I'm heartbroken is an understatement. All the life that was within me hours ago, has left me. I'm dead inside right now. Truly, everybody's got something to hide and I just saw the true Blake fucking Dawson. An asshole, a player, a liar and a fucking piece of shit.
Mum was right. That boy truly is trouble. I regret and curse the day I started talking to him.
A sob escapes me and Scott's arms go round my cold shoulders.
We drop Maeve and Johnny off somewhere I'm pretty sure isn't Maeve's home but who cares right now? They can fornicate till morning if they want to.
As the limo stops to drop Wren off at her place, Vic walks her to her house and after a few minutes he gets back into the limo. Now it's just Roxy, Scott, Vic and I. Vic clears his throat and hands Scott his coat. Scott takes it and places it on my shoulders. As of now, I'm shivering and I have no idea how I feel this cold. Scott didn't have a coat on tonight that's why Vic gave him his and I whisper a thank you.
"Roxy, Vic... Shall I take you to your dad's?" Bobby asks.
"No, no. We're staying with Scott and Kyrah. Just tell him everything went well, I'll call him later," Roxy says as the limo pulls up at the front of my house. It feels like I was here a very long time ago when it's only been hours. Scott opens the door and jumps out first, the rest follow but I seem to be glued to the warm seat and then I realize I have no shoes on. I don't even know where my shoes are.
I sigh and stare at my bare feet. Scott gets my message quickly and carries me out of the limo and Bobby drives away. At the porch, I hand Scott the keys from my purse and signal him to put me down.
