Chapter 115

"Come on, Scott. We're not going to leave you here. We want to cut the cake and let the party get wilder!" Roxy says and Scott sighs.
"Alright, Kyrah and I will join you in a bit," he says and Kye and Roxy leave. "I'm sure your mom is half tempted to come over here and tell us to turn the music down," Scott jokes again and I laugh.
"She's itching to march over here. Anyway, let's join the rest." I pull his hand and he obliges and places his strong arm across my waist as I walk in front of him.
Back in the living room which is now a dance floor, everybody is dancing, body to body and the music is even louder. We push through to the front where I had secured a place for the cake. Kye, Vic, Wren and Roxy are waiting for us. Vic signals Tim to turn down the music a little bit and he obeys.
"Alright party animals! I don't want to waste your time because I can tell that y'all are here to party, right?" Roxy yells.
"Hell, yeah!" a couple of men shout back and some ladies 'whoo-hoo!' out loud.
"Yeah, so I want to thank all of you for coming and thanks to my friends who organized this party, it's the bomb! So, pass by here and grab a piece of cake, there's enough for everyone. Meanwhile, dj turn that shit up!" and the music blasts up again. Wish Wish by Dj Khaled, Cardi B and 21 Savage booms out of the oversized speakers Tyler brought in. If were not careful, Scott's house will be windowless by dawn.
Roxy pokes a huge piece of cake with a fork and feeds it to me. It's so big that I start laughing while struggling to get it into my mouth.
While I'm busy enjoying the music, Scott goes to the kitchen and comes back with two drinks and hands me one and I don't hesitate to take a very long swig.
"Chug! Chug! Chug! Whoo!" Roxy yells, encouraging me to finish the drink.
I love the tingly feeling of the cold drink going down my throat. Tonight, we're getting wasted, tonight, I want to dance like it's my last night on earth. I want to feel the beat, dance to the rhythm and ofcourse, live in the moment. Let my worries, pain and sorrows go, because tonight, I'm letting the animal in me run wild and free.
Everyone's body is in tune with the music. Hands all up in the air.
After dancing for a long time, and having drunk countless drinks, Scott walks over and pulls me away from the dance floor, he'd been watching from where Tim and Jim were. He takes me back to the kitchen. I'm drunk. Drunk as hell!
"Take it easy, wild child. I still want you alive tonight," he coos and I giggle, letting out a small burp.
"Oops!" I cover my mouth. "Sorry."
"Take a seat and take a break–"
"Oh no you don't! You can't keep me in here forever... I want... I want to..." I hiccup twice. "I want to dance!" I shout.
"Ten minutes and then I'll let you go dance," he begs.
"Ten minutes and then you're coming with... Me." I lazily point at myself. The alcohol has taken over but I'm still aware of what's going on.
After ten minutes, I pull Scott back to the dance floor. My back against his crotch and I place his hands on my hips. Girl Like Me by Black Eyed Peas and Shakira starts playing.
It's about to be one hell of a night!

Jim's POV
I'm not really a party person but I always go to parties because of my brother.
The ladies love him!
What can I say? He's like a lady magnet or something. Yes, we're identical, but no one seems to be interested in me. Or maybe it's because I'm boring, as Tim once called me.
I'm seated next to him, watching him play around with the deck, the music playing so loud, my ears hurt. Everyone is grooving to the beat, more so Tyler, a girl is grinding up on him and he looks like he's about to loose his mind.
"Marco! Polo!" Tyler yells while taking a long swig of his drink.
I chuckle for a moment, smiling. Tyler is having the time of his life, so is Roxy, with her boyfriend. I've never even thought she'd be the kind of girl who would date anyone. She's hardcore.
"Hey." I hear someone say and I turn to see who it is.
A cute, dark haired girl is staring back at me. What do I say?
"Uh... Hey, there." I purse my lips, holding an almost empty party cup. I'm only holding it for Tim.
"Do you wanna go get a refill?" she asks.
"Oh, I... Uhm, I don't actually drink, I'm holding it for my bro," I say, feeling a little embarrassed but who cares.
"You don't? That's just great, I was starting to feel like the odd one out. I just... I saw you from across the room and didn't know what to say so I–" she's rumbling. Kind of cute.
"It's okay. Just count yourself lucky I don't drink, I'd have gone to get a refill, talk gibberish after getting drunk and forget you ever existed in the morning," I say and she giggles. She's quite the sight for sore eyes. "I'm Jim, by the way. Tim is my twin, I hope you'll be able to tell the difference between us."
"I'm Hazel and..." she steals a glance at my brother. "For now, all I know is that I'm hanging out with you and not the Dj."
I chuckle.
"You have a cute smile. How about we hang out some place I know, it's less crowded than in here," she says.
My jaw drops.
"Are you serious?" I ask.
"Yeah, as serious as a shot in the heart." She winks and pulls me off the chair and I humbly oblige. Never has a girl approached me, I'm surprised.
As we push through the crowd I spot Scott and Kyrah at a corner and I'm shooketh! I stop to have a better view and Hazel signals me to keep moving.
Scott's back is on the wall and Kyrah, in some really fine shorts, has her entire body against Scott. She's got moves and I swear, out of all the parties I've been with Kyrah, this is the first time I'm seeing her dance with a guy in a very seductive way.
"Let's go!" Hazel shouts over the music and I hurriedly follow behind her.
Atleast now I know I'm not gonna die a lonely ass geek.
