Chapter 218
"This is a lot to take in right now, can I get a glass of something cold?" I ask no one in particular and Tim walks to the kitchen and brings me a cold glass of orange juice and I drink half of it at a go.
"Are you okay?" Maeve asks as Johnny crosses an arm over her shoulders.
"I'm not sure. It's just... wow! I actually thought Tyler or Sabrina were behind all of this. I just... I thought Blake wouldn't even dare look for me after our breakup," I say and pinch the bridge of my nose.
"Seems like the guy was obsessed with you and he just couldn't let go and accept that both of you were completely done. I'm so sorry, Kyrah and Scott," Jim says quietly from the edge of a couch.
"He needs to be dealt with for what he did," Johnny says and clears his throat.
"Yeah. I mean, people like him shouldn't walk around freely," Kye states. "I've got your back. All we need now is a lawyer, we already have proof that it was Blake who did it. He must be sick in the head to have done what he did."
"You should see how he looks like right now. He's a complete mess. But I'm not done with him yet," Scott tells Kye.
I sigh and lean in to Scott's chest and he guides me to an empty couch and we sit.
"My dad knows the best lawyers in town," Vic says. "Since he specializes more on legal advice as a Solicitor, a barrister would be better."
"My mom is one," Johnny says.
"And my mom too," Scott grins at me and I feel a wave of relief wash over me.
"So what plan do you have for Blake?" Tim asks Scott and Scott stands up from the couch and taps his chin as he paces from left to right in the middle of the living room.
"I was planning on having him confess. We need more evidence and from the look of things on his side, whatever happened that day has been eating him up like termites on a piece of wood. One of dad's friends has been observing every activity that goes on around there for the last three days and he noted that Blake is always heavily drunk," Scott says and pauses, "We need to lure him into a trap. He leaves every evening to go to a certain club and gets drunk. We need to get someone wired, a female, to distract him and I am sure he'll blurt out everything in his drunken state."
"The problem is who? He knows all of us," Maeve says and pushes her glasses up her nose.
"I know someone who can help," Wren says in a chirpy voice, "My step-sister. We don't hang out that much but she's a nice person and a very hot lady as you all know. Her hair is the same color as Kyrah's."
"Melissa!" we all say as smiles curve up our faces.
"Yap! Who wouldn't want to talk to such a curvaceous and gorgeous woman? I'll talk to her in the evening, just let me know when you plan to do it, I know she'll be down for it," Wren says.
"Cool. We'll do it tomorrow, I'll send you the details on where we'll meet so that we can have a professional wire her up. Just a tiny microphone is needed and we can record every thing he says. Let's hope this works guys," Scott says as he looks at all of us.
"It will. I'll pass by the place with you early in the morning and we'll talk to the manager of the bar then place cameras all over," Kye says.
"Great plan. I feel like we're in an investigative movie or something like that," Jim says and chuckles.
"Alright guys, as we wait for tomorrow, let's do what we came here to do, and that is to celebrate these two. Scott and Kyrah, a.k.a Skyrah. How do you like that?" Roxy winks at me and I ascend from the couch and hug Scott.
"Skyrah. I love it," I say and I tiptoe and pull Scott downwards to me and I kiss him like this is the last day I have on this planet. Now I understand why Wren bought me the lingerie.
"Woo-hoo! Cheers to Skyrah!" Johnny yells and everyone cheers happily as Scott and I sway from left to right in each others arms.
"I love you, Kyrah," he coos.
"I love you, Scott," I say.
