Chapter 104

Lexi
I knew Skyline was in pain. As much as I hated it for Kent and Ryan I wasn’t going to put a stop to it. Ryan and Kent needed to hear what was in her head. And I wasn’t going to tell them. They needed to hear it from her. And what I saw I don’t think that was all of it. No I’m not a mind reader. I only saw what she was thinking at the moment. Just a few images and I could feel her emotions from those images. Got to tell you she is pissed at me. She thinks I ruined all her plans.

Skyline screams out in pain “ Make it stop you bitch.” “ It will stop when you start talking.” I said calmly. The more she fights the more pain she will be in. I hold no sympathy for her. She has hurt my Ryan. “ How can you let her do this to me? I’m your mate.” Skyline growns. She is a second away from vomiting she is so much pain. I can tell by the way she keeps gagging. “ If you just talk the pain will stop.” Kent said. “ I don’t have to tell you anything.” Skyline yelled. I have had enough of her shit. I only gave Skyline a small dose of my power because I didn’t want to hurt her too much. I figured she would fight my command. She doesn’t want anyone to know her secrets. She knows she could be sent to the cells if they did.

“ Look at me.” I growl. Arya is having enough of Skyline too. Arya wants me to let her out but I know that is not a good idea. I’m worried about Arya’s aggression towards Skyline. I believe Arya would rip Skyline apart if I let her out. Kent and Skyline both look at me. I mouth ‘ I’m sorry to Kent.’ before I push my power and glow towards Skyline. “ Tell us the entire truth. NOW.” I growled.

Skyline screamed out but she started talking. Glaring at me she yelled “ Why did you have to come and ruin all my plans?” “ What plans did I ruin? What was supposed to happen after Ryan mated the girl you picked for him?” I asked. I refused to get angry at her. It is what she wanted. Skyline would love to make me look bad in front of her son. “ What was supposed to happen you bitch is Ryan waas going to mate the girl. I was going to train her to be a proper Luna.” Skyline said.

No there is more to it. “ What was going to happen after you trained her?” Luther asked. Even Luther knows Skyline is giving us a load of bullshit. “ I was going to have her give Ryan a sob story about the Alpha of her old pack. How he was a bad Alpha and was horrible to his people. She was going to encourage Ryan to challenge the Alpha and take over his pack.” You have got to be kidding me. If I remember what I have been taught Alpha challenges finished one of two ways either submission or death. If I was challenged unprovocked I would not submit.

“ Are you fucking kidding me mom?” Ryan yelled. Ryan moved to jump up. I don’t know what he was going to do but I wasn’t taking a chance. I pushed out my calming glow out to surround him and held his hand tighter. “ Easy love.” I linked. “ Why? Why would want to do something like that?” Ryan asked. I notice Kent has moved away from Skyline. “ So we could expand our pack of course.” she said like it was no big deal.

“ There is more. Keep going Skyline.” I told her. “ Once we added that pack I was going to have the girl encourage you to go after other packs in the area.” Skyline said. “ Are you out of you mind?” Ryan said. “ No, I’m perfectly sane.Don’t you see? By taking the other packs we could be the largest in the state. Noone would ever go against us. Think of the power you would have.” Skyline said like is was the most obvious thing in the world.

Skyline didn’t care about the girl or her son. She just wanted to use them as puppets in her pursuit of power. These weren’t Ryan’s dreams. I know we have talked many times about uniting the packs. He didn’t want to rule over all of them. “ Every thiong was going perfect until this bitch came along. You would have been more powerful than you father ever could. He was too much of a wimp to aim that high. That our pack was fine the way it is. What a bunch of shit. We could have been so much better. So much larger. We could have the other packs bowing at our feet. But no, you had to have your fated mate. You should just reject her. It isn’t too late. We can still have it all.” Skyline says.


Holy shit this lady is a few crayons short of a full box. “ Mom, I will not reject my mate. With Lexi by my side I will have it all. All I want and need. But that doesn’t involve complete power over the packs.” Ryan said. “ If, and that is a big if, for some dumb reason I wanted to reject Lexi I still would try to take over the packs. To try something like that would get me killed.” he said. Kent at this point had gotten up and came over to our side. I push my calming glow to him. It won’t help the look of disgust and heart break but he will feel that we are here for him.

“ Ryan, son. You wouldn’t be killed. You are strong and you have strong warriors that would go to war for you.” Skyline said. And he is. I agree with that. But he would not go to war for a bullshit reason. “ You still don’t get it mom. Lexi the daughter of our Goddess would never let me live when she found out what I was doing. Lexi has enough power in her pinky finger to kill me. And to save lives she would do it.” Ryan growled.

“ Love, let’s end this. You know what needs to be done.” I linked. “ I know honey. I’ll link the warriors.” he said. The next second four warriors walk in and surround Skyline. “ Mom, I am having you put in the cells. You have gone against the Alpha and Luna of this pack. You have tried to go against the Goddess and our queen. You are a danger to this pack. And I can’t have that no matter who you are. Guards, please take her.” Ryan said. “ What? No, Ryan you can do this.to me. I’m your mother.” Skyline screamed.

“ Please stand. We don’t want to hurt you.” Warrior Sam said to Skyline. This was their Luna for a long time they don’t want to have to use force on her. Skyline doesn’t care. She starts screaming. “ Who do you think you are to talk to me like that? I am Luna of this pack. I give the orders.” she screams. Damn she is giving me a headache. “ Silence.” I growl. That shut her up. “ Now you will stand up and go with these kind warriors who are only trying to do their job.” I said. Skyline did as I said.

The warriors bow to us “ Our queen. Alphas.” Then the carefully grab Skyline’s arms and escort her out. Ryan and Kent are in shock. “ Dad. I’m sorry. She gave me no choice.” Ryan said. “ I know son. I don’t disagree with your decision.” Kent said quietly. I let go our Ryan’s hand and get up. Ryan is upset. Understandably so but Kent needs me a little more. I don’t say anything just wrap my arms around Kent and hold him. I push all my love and support into him. I let his wolf feel Arya's love. With everything we have going on this kind of crap is the last thing I need. Or any of us need.
