Valerose

I feel like I’m in one of my dreams. I have Lexi in my arms, pressed against my chest dancing. She is smiling up at me. The look in her eyes. It is what I believe is love. Since I have never seen that look directed at me I’m not sure. I have had women look at me with lust or fear. But never love. I have however seen this same gleam in Lexi’s eyes when she looks at Ryan and Luther so I’m pretty sure it is love or at least the beginning of it. I will know for sure when I hear the words from her mouth. For now I’m just going to enjoy the real Lexi pressed against my chest. No longer a dream I have the real thing in my arms. It is better than all my dreams combined.

I wasn’t sure if I would ever get to do this. There was a good chance Lexi would reject me. She still can. “ She was never going to reject you without giving you a fair chance. That’s who she is.” Arya says in my head. Am I ever going to get used to that? “ You are going to have to. As for Lexi rejecting you in the future. Only time will tell. The way to prevent that. Follow these two rules and you will be fine.” Arya says.

“ What rules?” I asked. I’m taking advice from her wolf. Of course I am. Arya knows Lexi better than anyone, including her mates. “ Simple. Don’t cheat. Treat Lexi as an equal. Don’t fuck up. ” Arya states. Don’t cheat. No problem there. I can’t imagine touching another woman. Treating Lexi like an equal is not a problem either. The fucking up part. Of course I’m going to fuck up. This mating thing is new to me. She has two other mates to deal with. It isn’t going to be easy. “ As long as you try. That’s all Lexi cares about. She knows it isn’t going to be sunshine and rainbows all the time. She understands it will take time for you four to work out a system.” Ayra replies.

I’m broke from talking with Arya when I hear Lexi giggling. Wow, what an angelic sound. I'll make her do that as often as possible. But what got her doing it in the first place? Lexi answers my unspoken question. “ I take it Arya was talking your ear off.” she giggled again. “ How did you know?” I asked. “ You make the oddest face when she does it. A cross between puzzled and annoyed. It’s funny to watch.” Lexi laughs. Before Lexi, had someone laughed at me like she did, I would have killed them. Lexi isn’t even laughing at me. Just my reaction to Arya she finds comical.

I find myself wanting to laugh along with her. “ It is going to take some getting used to.” I said with a chuckle. It sounded foreign to my ears. I can’t remember the last time I did it. “ I understand. It took me a while to get used to it myself and Arya is part of me.” Lexi says. I had forgotten that until recently Lexi had know idea who or what she was. It is all new to her as it is me. I must have made a face because in the blink of an eye Lexi had removed her hand from my shoulder and placed it on my cheek. She looks deep into my eyes. I can see so many emotions in them. Love, compassion, understanding, and desire. All directed at me.

“ Val, it will take time to figure everything out. We will do it together. Just not tonight. Right now it is about you and me.” she says. I find myself liking what she says. Just Lexi and me. At least for tonight. I see a mischievous glint in her eyes that my gut is telling me she is up to something. “ Let’s get out of here. I want to get to know my new mate away from prying eyes.” she says with a wink. Lexi leans up to whisper in my ear. “ What do you say, Va?” she asks. I’m ready to go. I take Lexi’s hand and lead her off the dance floor where we are met by Luther and Ryan. Both smiling at Lexi.

Ryan grabs Lexi pulling her away from me. He wraps his arms around her waist keeping her close to his chest. Lexi instantly wraps her arms around his neck. When Ryan gives her a quick kiss I watch her visibly melt into him. When Ryan pulls back after just a second or two he looks at Lexi with so much love I can feel it. Lexi looks at Ryan with the same amount of love. “ Enjoy getting to know Valerose.” Ryan tells her before taking a step back. As soon as he does Luther grabs Lexi causing her to giggle. Instead of going in for a quick kiss like Ryan did, Luther dips Lexi, slams his lips down on her giving her a passionate kiss.

I can smell that Lexi is getting turned on by it. Hell, I believe everyone in attendance can. I wouldn’t be surprised if some are getting turned on by it. I know I am. Then again I have been turned on by Lexi the moment I saw her. Luther pulls Lexi up making sure she is steady on her feet before letting go. “ Link us if you need or want us. We won't be far.” Luther tells her. He is also getting a message across to me. If I do something wrong or that Lexi may not like they will be there for her in a second. Most likely beat my ass as well. Or if Lexi decided she needed all three of us they would be there. How would that work? I’m not sure. Has Lexi had both her mates at the same time before? Would she want all three of us at the same time? Is she into that? So many questions. They will have to be answered later.

“ I know. I will call if I need you. I will also check in with you.” Lexi said. She looked at both her mates as she grabbed for my hand which I promptly gave her. “ I love you, both. Thank you for what you are doing for me.” she said. Ryan smiles, “ For you we would do anything.” “ We love you too.” Luther said. With that last comment Lexi tucked my hand leading me away from them. I could feel their eye boring into the back of my neck letting me know they were watching us. I wanted to tell them Lexi would be safe with me however I know my words would hold no weight. I’m going to have to show them.

It is not lost on me the huge amount of trust Lexi is giving me by being alone with me. I will not abuse that trust. We don’t make it a few feet before we are stopped again. THis time by the guardian that had left with the wolves I had freed. I want to growl at him to step out of our way. I’m trying to be patient but my dick is hard as a brick and wants inside Lexi, now. He mates interruption is understandable but everyone else can wait. I won’t say anything though. These are Lexi’s most trusted wolves next to her mates. Growling and snarling at any of them will not win me any favors with Lexi. I just hope he is quick and gets to his point as to why he stopped us. Maybe he has something to report to her. It could be important. I take a deep breath and will my dick to go down. I remind myself that Lexi is worth waiting a few more minutes for. We have a lifetime together. What’s a few minutes compared to that.

The man bows to Lexi. “ My queen. Could you spare a moment of your time?” he asks. Lexi giggles “ Jackson stand up,please. Of course I have time. Introduce me to your mate.” Of course Lexi would already know. She anticipated this. Maybe not this second but she knew it would happen tonight. The man, Jackson, looks over his shoulder and waves to the man behind him. Encouraging him to come stand beside him. I notice a few other people have approached, including Luther and Ryan. I believe Lexi called one of these people Alpha Henry, from her former mates pack. I need to hear the entire story on that but it can wait.

“ Queen Lexi, I would like you to meet my mate, Nolan.” Jackson says when the man is beside him. The poor guy, Nolan looks awestruck. I hear a few giggles coming from behind us at his reaction. “ Holy shit. The prophecy child is real? And you know her?” Nolan rambles earning more giggles including Jackson. It is then I notice Lexi has a faint white glow to her. Lexi let’s go of my hand and walks to stand in front of the couple. “ I am very real.” she giggles. She holds one hand out to Nolan but is looking at Jackson. “ May I?” She asks permission before taking Nolans hand showing Jackson respect. Jackson smiles and nods.

When she takes Nolan’s hand she holds her other one out to Jackson but asks Nolan’s permission. All Nolan can do is nod his head rapidly. After she takes Jackson’s outstretched hand I watch her glow spread out to cover all three of them. “ It never gets old watching her do this.” Luther says from beside me. I lean my head towards him and ask in a low voice as to not disturb Lexi `` What is she doing?” Ryan answers from the other side of me. “ Think of it as blessing the new mates. She has done this with every mated couple since she has come along. Now people seek her out to get what is being considered as the Goddess’s blessing.” he said. Wow.

Luther claps me on the shoulder. “ Get used to it. I have a feeling this is going to be a regular thing. Lexi loves doing it.” he says. Like I would try and stand in the way of what Lexi does. Not that she would let me. I have a feeling she would put me in my place real quick if I tried. “ You both have had a hard road to get here. Yet, you never gave up hope that one day you would find each other. Jackson, you no longer have to hide who you are. Though I do wish you never did. With Nolan by your side, embrace who I already know you are. Dear friend, loyal guardian and a heart so full of love I’m surprised it hasn’t exploded.” she giggles.

“ Nolan, the bad times are behind you now. Embrace the love you have been given and make sure to return it. Embrace your new pack. I know they will take care of you. I couldn’t be more proud of this union if I created myself.” Lexi says. They both bow to her when Lexi let’s go of their hands and pulls her glow back. “ Thank you my queen.” Jackson says. “ Now go. Enjoy the party. Meet new people. Eat until you feel like you are going to pop.” Lexi chuckles before grabbing my hand again. We watch everyone leave and Lexi turns to me.

“ Val, I promised you could have me all to yourself. I still hold to that. Thank you for your patience. It will be well rewarded.” she says as she gets up on her tips toes, wrapping her arms around my neck. I lean down to press my lips to her waiting ones. It wasn’t a quick kiss this time. I licked her bottom lip and Lexi opened her mouth eagerly for me. I twisted my tongue with hers.I can taste the fruitiness of the drink she had earlier and something I can only describe as uniquely Lexi. When Lexi’s arousal hits my knows I pull away. It is time for me to have my queen. “ Lead the way my queen.” I say.
