Aiden

My dad looks at Lexi with such love like a father would look at a daughter. I want to be jealous but I can’t. Lexi has done nothing but be her adorable self but she draws people in. Even me so I can’t blame my dad or mom. “ Truth. Lexi was supposed to be part of us. She was supposed to be my daughter. I feel selfish and want to keep it that way for a little longer. If Lexi can do the rejection my son wants then I wish that her next mate is still in this pack so I can be close to her.” dad said. Wow.

“ I will discuss it with my parents and the Elders. But I think they will agree.” Luther said. Great, I will have this guy around all the time. Just what I need. “ Aiden, you will have to try to be nice to him. He is Lexi’s other mate. You two will have to figure out how to get along if you want to be with her. Your dad just gave you an opportunity on a silver platter. Use it. And that means getting to know Luther. Hell, he might be your in with Lexi. If she sees you getting along with Luther she might be more inclined to talk to you.” Razor said.

“ Fuck, do you always have to be right?” I asked him. He laughs “ What can I say? I’m awesome.” Sometimes he can be an ass but I love him. “ Mr. Cline that is very kind of you. And I would like to take you up on that offer. I would like to know about where I come from. I just need to find the time. I have school and work. And I need to think about Luther’s feelings.” Lexi said. “ Don’t worry about me. Where you go I go. I do think you should learn what you can from the Elders here. And us working together is a good idea.” Luther said.
“ And as far as work. Lexi, this is more important. I think you need to quit. Focus on your training and school. From what was said you are going to be in one hell of a fight. And mating. That is what you need to worry about.” Patsy said. “ I think you are right,”Lexi said. “ Elders, Mr.Cline. I would like to take you up on that offer.” she said. Mom was beaming. I thought dad was going to jump up and cheer but he just nodded and they began to set things up.

Dad links me “ I have made it so Lexi stays around. This is your chance to fix things, son. Before she finishes the rejection.” “ How did?” I asked. “ I can see it in your face. The regret. Use this time.” he said. “ I will dad.Thanks.” I said. I saw Lexi get up with Luther. They were about to leave. Razor pushed forward before I could stop him. “ Lexi wait. Please.” he said.
Lexi turned around but looked confused. “ Baby, that is not Aiden. It is his wolf.” Lexi looks closer allowing her eyes to glow. She smiles “ That is so cool. What can I do for you?” “ I wanted to meet you. My name is Razor. I wanted to say I am sorry. I know what Aiden did. I wanted to tell you I did want any part of it.I tried to talk him out of it. To stop him.” Razor said. “ I don’t understand. You didn’t want to reject me.” Razor moves forward and takes Lexi’s hands in his.
I feel the sparks I felt the first time but more intense. Lexi gasps. “ What is that? I feel the same thing when Luther touches me. Well not quite the same but very similar.” she asks. Razor smiles and so does Luther. “ It is the mate bond. You will feel sparks everytime we touch.” Razor said. I want those sparks for more than just a few minutes that I get to touch her now. “ Why do yours feel different?” Lexi asked.

“ Since you have two mates I have to guess we would feel differently to you.” Luther answers. It makes sense but since I have never heard of someone having two mats so we are in a guessing game here. “ Razor, you said you didn’t want to reject me. Can I ask why?” Lexi asked. “ I have been waiting for my true mate since I was sixteen. We are able to sense them when we turn eighteen. I wanted her no matter who she was. When Aiden said he was going to reject you I did everything I could think of to stop him. I quit shifting, stopped talking to him and chased away every girl that came his way. That day when he went through with it I begged him to stop. The pain was unbearable. And the hurt I saw in your face made it worse.”

Lexi places a hand on my cheek and rubs her thumb up and down. “ Razor, I'm so very sorry you were hurt. That was not my intention. And you have nothing to be sorry for. From little I gathered so far. You and Aiden share a body but not a mind. You can’t control his actions. So I don’t blame you.” Lexi says in a gentle voice. I lean into her hand. Not Razor. I could have stopped myself but I didn’t want to. I wanted to be close to her even if she thought it was Razor. “ Thank you Lexi.” Razor said. “ There is no need. But Razor, can I ask a favor?” she asked.

Razor nodded slightly so as to not remove Lexi’s hand. “ Anything.” Lexi smiles, making her face light up and she isn’t glowing. “ I want you to stop fighting with Aiden. By refusing to shift you are denying yourself. And that isn’t fair to you and I’m sure it isn’t good either. And I want you to talk to him. Work this out. You are part each other. If this rejection works next time you will be given someone else. Someone more suitable for you. But you are going to need to work together to make it work. So can you try to work things out? And shift.” Lexi asked.

“ For you. Yes, I will. And for the record there will never be anyone more suitable than you. You are smart, kind, caring and selfless. Add in your beautiful face, your rocking body that I want to have pressed against me all the time. Lexi, you are the perfect package for me.” Razor said. We looked up and saw Luther smiling “ And I think Luther agrees. He was just smart enough to accept you from the start.” Razor said.

Lexi laughs. What a sweet sound? I want to make her do it again. Or Razor or even Luther. I want to hear it again. Lexi motions for Razor to bend down a little. She kisses our cheek and whispers in our ear. “That is very sweet of you. I’m sorry it can’t be you Razor. I like you. And I wish nothing but the best for you. I’m sorry it wasn’t me. But I believe in time you will find your new mate soon. Don’t lose hope.” Lexi said. I was shocked. After the hurt I put her through she was still being kind and wished us the best.

Lexi and Luther were leaving. They were going home. Lexi needed rest and to get ready for school tomorrow. Lexi turns and looks over her shoulder. “ Razor, I was glad I got to meet you. Thank you for coming out. One day I would like to meet you in wolf form. I bet you are quite handsome.” Lexi said. “ I would like that.” Razor said. I would too. After Lexi left Razor pulled back. “ Took you long enough to give me back control.” I said to him. “ Sorry, man. I couldn’t take my eyes off her ass swaying as she was walking away.” Razor laughed.

I can’t blame him for that. Lexi has an amazing ass. I could watch her walk away all day. “ Fine. But now I need your help.” I said. “ Sure. What do you need?” he said. “ Wow. It is just that easy?” I asked. He has been fighting me for weeks and now he just wants to talk. “ Yea, I promised Lexi I would work things out with you.” Razor said. “ Then you are going to love this. I want you to help me win Lexi. I’m going to get your mate back.” I said. “ About fucking time. I’m all in.” he said.
