Chapter 134

Lexi

Tyler arrived just as we had finished breakfast. Isabelle and Jake came along too. Not that I minded but I was curious as to why they tagged along leaving Kent to handle the pack. That reminds me we need to back there and take some of the workload off of him. Kent had taken over the pack while I was in heat with Tyler and Jake’s help. When I asked Isabelle what they were doing there Isabelle laughed. “ We wanted to see what was so important that Ty has to go to Aspen Rain.” she chuckled.

We said our good-byes and loaded up in one of the SUV’s to go to Aspen Rain. I was in the third-row backseat sandwiched between Luther and Ryan. As usual. Freya was driving Isabelle in the passenger seat. Jake and Tyler were in the seats in front of her. I laid my head back on the seat and closed my eyes. Jake and Tyler updated Ryan on what is going on at the pack. I half assed listened. Arya insisted we relax and clear our minds. “ So any clue as to what awaits our boy at Apen Rain?” Isabelle asks. With my eyes still closed I answered “ Nope. Just told them to bring him. Mother never comes out and says what she wants or needs. Always beating around the bush or a riddle of some sort.”

Then it dawns on me this is the first time since I got Arya that I have been back to Aspen Rain. “ Arya, are you upset or disappointed that you never got a chance to meet Razor?” I asked her. “ No, I’m not. I have two perfect, sexy, strong wolves as my mates. I saw Razor through your eyes. He is a sweet wolf that deserves a better human. But I know Mother is looking out for him. She is just waiting for Aiden to show that he is a changed person.” Arya said. “ I agree with you on that. I wouldn’t change anything I went through. That path made us stronger.” I told her. “ Yes, it did. Now rest your mind just in case we have any other messages.” Arya said. So that is what I did during the thirty-minute drive.

I’m glad I did. Something has shifted and I need to talk to Tyler. I open my eyes just as we cross the pack border. I can feel the change in energy any time I cross any pack border. I’m told it is normal. Each pack has its own energy. I just feel it more because of how close to the Goddess I am. I feel everything stronger. The guards take one look at me and let us through. I have an open invitation to come here even if I haven’t used it before now. Freya stops at the front of the packhouse and everyone starts getting out. Before anyone takes a step towards the door I ask, “ Tyler could I have a word before we go to the door?”

Tyler doesn’t say anything just walks over to stand in front of me. “ Tyler, do you trust me?” I asked. “ Of course,” he says without a thought. “ I don’t know everything that is going on and why we have to be here. I do know that it is going to start out unpleasant then it will get better right after. And I will be right by your side the entire time.” I told him. Tyler grabbed my hand “ Lexi, you are my queen and I trust you in this. That is why I never questioned you. If you were told to bring me here from the Goddess herself I know there is a good reason. I have no doubt in either of you.”

“ Let’s go see what surprises await you,” I said and lead the way to the door. We waited after I knocked for someone to let us in. I figured the guards would have linked someone we were here. After a minute the door opens to reveal a frustrated-looking Jackson. Well frustrated until he sees me. I send a little of my calming glow to him because looks like he needs it. “ Do I want to know?” I asked. “ Later, maybe. What do owe this unexpected but pleasant surprise?” Jackson asked. " A couple of reasons. The main one is that Mother told me to bring Tyler here." I explained. Jackson opens the door wide and says " Who are we to question her? Come on in." After shutting the door I see him link someone. Probably Calissa telling her I am here. Jackson leads us to the lounge where Melissa and her mate are in the corner playing pool. Jesse was sitting on the couch with Aiden playing a video game. Or at least trying to. Jesse was playing. Aiden had a girl sitting on his arm making it hard for him to move it. Is it a thing in the packs that the sluts wear very little clothing because that seems like a thing in the packs I have been to so far? The girl was whining to Aiden about not paying attention to her.

Tyler

When we entered the lounge my nose filled with an enticing scent of mint but it was covered with strong artificial flowery perfume. It was coming from the girl sitting on Aiden's arm complaining. " Come on baby. You haven't been with anyone since you rejected that lousy human. I know I can make you feel better." " Mate?" Crimson asks. It is like he isn't sure himself. It is hard to tell with the perfume. And the girl hasn't noticed us yet. It is like she can't smell me at all. " Let's go upstairs and I'll make you forget all the other girls you have been with. You remember how you liked it when I was on my knees for you." the girl said. " Would you leave me alone? I'm busy." Aiden said as he moved his hands on the controller he was holding. I noticed he hasn't taken his eyes off the tv screen. " I'm sorry, Tyler. You deserve so much better." Lexi said to me through our link. " Don't be. I think this might be the unpleasant part you were talking about." I linked." I see some things never change." Lexi said standing beside me.

Jesse and Aiden are startled so bad they jump off the couch. The girl drops to the floor. And they call themselves wolves. We shouldn't have been able to sneak up on them. We didn't even try to. " Lexi," Jesse calls out as he jumps over the back of the couch to get to her. The girls huffs as she stands up " Aiden, what the hell?" Aiden ignores her and bows to Lexi. " Queen Lexi." The girl finally sees me and tilts her head " Mate." I nod but don't move. " I'll stand by whatever decision you make Tyler. You are still my friend and trusted guardian." Lexi links even though she is looking at the girl with disgust. The girl looks me up and down and says "No you won't do. I deserve a higher rank than a Gamma." Is she serious? I won't do. Does she think she deserves better than a Gamma? This girl doesn't deserve the lowest omega. Lexi growls at my side ready to defend me. Sweet but I don't need it.

" Let's get this over with. What is your name?" she asks. " Tyler Sanders," I said knowing what she was going to do. I don't care. If she wasn't going to do it I was. I'm not having a slut as a mate. I would never be able to trust her. "I, Sandy Masters, of the Aspen Rain pack, reject Tyler Sanders as my mate," she smirks. She looks at me expectingly like she is expecting me to beg her or something. Not happening. " I, Tyler Sanders, Beta of the Iron River pack, guardian to the Queen accept your rejection." The look on her face when I said my titles was priceless. Lexi had her hand over her mouth trying hard not to laugh out loud. Crimson and Arya on the other hand were cracking up. I heard the girls behind me laughing including Melissa and her mate. " Sandy got served." Freya gasped between laughs.

The scent of honeysuckle suddenly filled the room. I turned in the direction it was coming from and in walked the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She was wearing a dark blue sports bra over her handful size tits and dark blue sweatpants. Her hair was pulled up in a tight ponytail and she had a small towel hanging around her neck. She had no make-up at all and a light sheen of sweat covered her face like she just came from the gym. Crimson is howling " Mate." But I notice the girl doesn't react to me at all. She is looking at Lexi. " Lexi, it is good to see you again. It has been too long." the girl says giving Lexi a hug. I'm getting anxious waiting for the girl to notice me. " Billy, I have missed you," Lexi said beaming at her. Billy is our mates name. I like it. " Tyler, calm down. I need you to do something if Billy is your second chance mate."

" She is. What do you need me to do?" I asked wanting any help I could get. " I need you to touch her when I introduce you. Long story but Billy can't smell you." Lexi said. Billy can't smell me? I need to know the entire story but for now, it can wait. " Billy, I would like you to meet one of my guardians from the Iron Mountain pack Tyler," Lexi said. I was already holding my hand out for Billy to shake. Billy reaches for my hand saying " Pleasure to meet. Mate." Billy pulls her hand back looking upset. " Tell her you aren't rejecting her. Hurry. She has been rejected before because she can't smell." Lexi linked. I stand tall looking into Billy's eyes. " Yes, I am. If you will accept me." I told her. Billy gasps " You are accepting me." I walk up to her and take her hands in mine " If you will have me, I would love to be your mate. It seems we are each other's second chance mate. And I couldn't be happier." I said. Billy beams at me " I accept you Tyler as my mate." I'm thrilled I put my trust in Lexi and the Goddess.
