Arya
I won’t go into details about my mating with Stone and Diesel. All that matters is that I now bare their mark and they have mine. Since I have woken up Lexi can mark Ryan and Luther. I know she is excited to do so. Diesel, Stone and I are still laying by the waterfall resting. None of us seems in a hurry to go back. While we are resting, let me tell you a little about me.
I have been with Lexi since she was born. Even though she didn’t know. I knew what was going on. I just couldn’t talk to her. At least I wasn’t supposed to. When mother gave me to Lexi she explained in great detail who we are. She told me what my job was besides being Lexi’s wolf. My job is to be her companion, her comfort when she needs it. I was to stay hidden until it was time for us to become one.
I was to let Lexi live her life and not infer until the right time came. And I have for the most part. I only showed myself when I felt I needed to. Either to protect Lexi or to give her comfort. She didn’t truly know I was there when her parents died but Lexi didn’t fully know. As Lexi found out about wolves I made myself known several times when I felt it was needed. Tramps touching our mate. Someone was disrespecting us. Things Lexi didn’t know how to handle. Like Lexi accepting Aiden’s rejection. I would have helped her the first time but Lexi was doing fine on her own.
Aiden was a jackass but Lexi wanted to give him a chance and he fucked up. Just like Lexi, I feel bad for Razor. He didn’t deserve what happened. I hope Aiden wises up for Razor's sake. Maybe in time they will get a second-chance mate. Now that I have fully woken up my job is to get Lexi to fight Valerose. I have to help her train in both our forms and for us to use our powers as a team. You see Lexi has some powers she can primarily use in human form but by working together I can use them as well.
We also need to learn how to work together while in each other’s forms. Valerose is a nasty son-of-a-bitch. He won’t go down easy. So not only do Lexi and I have to work together we have to get all the packs in the area to work with us. That isn’t going to be easy. Most of these packs have kept to themselves for over fifty years. There is going to be infighting. I know that and I’m sure Lexi does as well.
The problem is we don’t have the luxury of time being on our side. That is why we have to get up to head back to the packhouse soon. After lunch Luna Christine is holding Alpha Evan is helping Lexi hold a meeting with all the Alpha’s and Beta’s that attended the party. We are all going to discuss what is coming and put a plan together.
I opened my mind “ Lexi.” “ Hey Arya. Is it time to head back already.” she asked. “ Getting close.” I told her. “ Did I give you enough time with Diesel and Stone?” Lexi asked. “ Yes, my sweet human. For now. Thank you.” I said. Mother gave me a great human. “ No need to thank me. You deserve time with them as much as I do with Ryan and Luther.” Lexi told me. “ So I wake them or do you want to?” I asked.
“ I’ll let you do it. You guys can run back together so you can spend a little longer together. But can I watch the running through your eyes? I think it might be neat.” Lexi said. “ Of course.” I told her. I turned to nudged Stone first then Diesel. “ We need to head back for lunch. Lexi is going to need to eat before the meeting.” I told them. Diesel yawned as he stood up. Stone stood and stretched.
After they each licked my snout we took off towards home. I didn’t run as fast as I could. I didn’t see a reason to. I wanted to run beside my mates but it was a slow run. “ This is so cool.” Lexi squealed. “ What does it feel like to have the wind blowing through your fur?” she asked. “ Wonderful. Similar to having it blow through your hair.” I told her. When we arrive at the packhouse Ryan and Luther shift quickly and grab their clothes.
“ Are you ready, Lexi?” I asked her. “ Arya, I don’t have any clothes out here.” she said. “ Don’t worry about the clothes. I have us covered.” I told her. “ Then tell me what to do.” Lexi said. “ Just like when we shifted the first time just in reverse. Picture yourself.” I told her. We glowed bright then Lexi was sitting on the ground and I was back in her mind.
Lexi looks down and sees she is wearing a white sundress. “ So cool.” she giggles. “ Just another gift from mother. We never have to worry about clothes during shifting.” Suddenly Lexi is lifted off the ground and onto her feet. From the scent I can tell it is Luther. “ That shifting was the coolest thing I have ever seen,” he said. “ Arya said it was a gift from the Goddess.” Lexi told him.
