That is the coolest thing they could have done for Lexi. I didn’t know Lexi could dance but damn it looks like she can. She is doing the steps flawlessly. Jesse and them aren’t doing too bad of a job keeping up with her. They have drawn a crowd and some people have joined them. “ Damn, I think I found my new favorite show. Watching Lexi shake her ass.” Luther grunted. “ I’m tossed between watching her ass or that smile she has.” I told him. “ So I have two favorites.” Luther chuckled.
When the dance is done we all clap. “ Happy birthday, Lexi.” The three said in unison. Lexi laughs and gives them a group hug. “ Thank you so much. This was an awesome gift.” she said. Lexi comes back over to us and I pull her in my arms. “ That was cool. I didn’t know you could dance.” I said after I kissed the top of her head. She smiles at Luther and me “ It never came up.” I’m going to make a point to ask more questions in the future. I didn’t notice Melissa was behind us until she asked “ Lexi, can I have a minute? And probably Luther too.” Luther stands alert and looks around, causing me to do the same. “ Melissa, breath. What’s wrong?” Lexi asked.
“ Oh, sorry. Nothing is wrong. It is perfect. Wonderful.” Melissa said smiling. Lexi laughed, “ Tell us what is so wonderful.” “ I found my mate. Just like you said.” Melissa giggled. I watched Lexi’s glow pulse out as she giggled. I wasn’t the only one who noticed. Most were in awe of her. “ You are right this is wonderful. Where is she? Can I meet her? And why did you need to talk to Luther?” Lexi fired off questions one after another. “ First, I had to talk to Luther because she is an omega in his pack. So I will be wanting her to come to my pack with me if Luther gives permission. Or his parents at least.” Melissa said.
“ Melissa I am thrilled that you have found your mate. And in my pack. And I won’t allow anything to keep you two apart. Take her with you tonight and we will work out the details later.” Luther said. Melissa the tough warrior was so excited she jumped in Luther’s arms thanking him. I’m with Luther, unless the mate is dangerous for some reason I won’t stop a mate from leaving my pack or entering. There is the Goddess paired people up and we did not need to stand in the way. “ So do we get to meet her?” I asked.
“ Well she is working.” Melissa said. “ This is my party and if I don’t want this lady to work anymore and enjoy her time with her mate. That is what I’m going to do. So find her and introduce us.” Lexi said. Melissa doesn’t argue, just starts looking around. She points to a dark haired omega serving drinks. Lexi starts walking toward the woman with all of us following. The girl doesn’t see us approaching and just keeps doing her job. Lexi taps the girl on the shoulder and says “ Excuse me miss.”
The woman turns around and sees us. She smiles at Melissa but looks at the rest of us a little panicked. “ Oh, Raylynn, it’s you.” Lexi said. “ Me, my queen?” she asks. Melissa moves to Raylynn’s side and wraps her arm around her waist. “ It’s okay sweetheart. I told Lexi about meeting my mate and she wanted to meet you.” Melissa says. “ Raylynn, I just have one question. Do you accept Melissa as your mate?” Lexi asked. “ Of course my queen. The Goddess chose her just for me. I would be a fool to go against that. And have you seen her, she is hot as hell.” Raylynn said. I like her response. Lexi takes Raylynn’s tray from her and places it on the closest table.
“ Then I am giving you the rest of the night off.” Lexi said. Raylynn looks at Luther for permission “ It’s her party what she says goes. And I agree with her.” Luther said. I expected us to go off and leave them alone. Lexi grabs Melissa’s hand, she holds her hand out to Raylynn but asks Melissa “ May I?” Giving Melissa respect by not just touching her mate even though Melissa knows Lexi wouldn’t hurt her. “ Of course, Lexi.” Melissa nods to Raylynn and Raylynn grabs Lexi’s hand. “ Congratulations to both of you.” Lexi said. I watched a purple glow go from Lexi to the girls and surround them. “ I see great happiness for you two.” Lexi said. “ Now I want you two to have some privacy. Melissa take my spare key and go to my house tonight.” Lexi told her. “ Really?” Melissa asked. “ Yes, think of it as a mating gift. Just promise you will try to make it back for me shifting tomorrow.” Lexi said.
“ Of course. I wouldn’t miss it.” Melissa said. “ And you Raylynn. Will you be here?” Lexi asked. “ A chance to witness my queen’s first shift. Damn straight I’ll be here.” Raylynn said. Lexi sent the girls off to get to know each other. Luther wrapped Lexi in his arms and kissed her quickly. “ That was a sweet thing you did for them.” Luther said. Lexi wrapped one arm around Luther’s waist and her other around me. “ Melissa deserves it. I want them to enjoy their mating night the same way I’m sure I will enjoy mine.” Lexi giggles.
“ Or we are definitely going to make sure you are going to enjoy tonight.” I told her and leaned in to nip her earlobe. “ Speaking of which, how much longer do we have to be here? I’m ready to get you alone.” I asked. I watched Lexi's eyes glow bright for a second then back down. “ We have to stay another hour. Something is going to happen. But I think it is a good something.” she said. “ Baby did you see something?” Luther asked. I’m saying I don’t trust Lexi. I just would like more information if we could get it. Lexi shakes her head “ No, it was the voice again. It said to stay until ten o’clock.” I looked at my phone and saw it was a little after nine. But what could happen?
