Luther

I was at my packhouse helping get Lexi’s after school snack ready. Ryan is here learning about Lexi’s needs. He is learning but I know that isn’t the real reason as to why he is here. He hasn’t seen Lexi in a day and I know it is driving him nuts. Most likely his wolf too. I get it, I’m the same way when I’m away from her for too long. “ Two hours is too long if you ask me.” Diesel grumbles. “ I agree buddy but you know how important school is to Lexi.” I reminded him. “ I know, but it doesn’t mean I like it when she is away from us for so long.” he whines. I see Ryan look at the time on his phone again. It is still ten minutes before Lexi is home. I swear I can see his wolf pacing in his head.

I decided to help distract Ryan and get him to talk to me. “ How are things in your pack going?” “ Good. After we visited and talked with your elders I called a meeting with our entire pack to tell them about their new Luna. They are all excited.” Ryan said. “ I even have some warriors wanting to come over here to train with your elite team so they can bring the practice to my pack,” he said. “ That’s not a bad idea. I could send a few to your pack and you could send a few here to train. We need to start working together anyway. If we only send a few at a time in either direction our packs won’t be vulnerable to attack.” I told him. “ I see you are trying to get along with him.” Diesel said.

“ He accepted Lexi as soon as he smelt her. Of course I’m going to give him a chance. And Lexi likes him.” I said. “ She does. More than Aiden. He seems like a good guy so far. He was willing to go against his own mother for Lexi. Let’s just hope his wolf isn’t an ass. Diesel said. “ So this is what Lexi eats for a snack every day?” Ryan asks, breaking me and Diesel from talking. “ Not the same foods but the concept.” Barb answers for me. She is our head cook and loves making meals for Lexi. Lexi always gets excited and hugs Barb and Barb loves it.

Barb explains that she makes different foods that are in Lexi’s dietary parameters. “ Barb, did you make enough to share? There is more food than normal here.” I asked. “ You know the rules. My queen eats her snack before you. I have something for you kids. And yes there is more. I noticed Lexi’s appetite has increased again.” Barb said with a smile.

“ Luther, the mating in a week. Do you have any idea how we are going to do this?” Ryan asked. I figured we would have to talk about this sooner or later. May as well get this over with. “ Ryan, there is something you need to know about Lexi.” I said. I explain how Lexi is a virgin, how I was her first kiss. Explain that we have only made out and she has jerked me off a few times. And how I’m sure only kissed Aiden. “ Wow, so we can’t just pounce on her like wolves would normally do?” Ryan said. “ No. We will have to take it slow her first time. I figured we would just follow Lexi’s lead.” I said.

“ If it’s Lexi’s first time she may be overwhelmed. Maybe we should have a game plan just in case. And we need to know what we are comfortable with too.” Ryan said. He has a good point. “ Look I get we have to share her. So here is my deal. We can touch her at the same time as long as we dont touch each other.” I told him. Ryan cocks his head and raises a brow at me. So I will explain my line of thinking. “ Look, I have more time to get used to this idea than you. I thought I was going to have to deal with that fucker Aiden. Thank the Goddess I don’t. I know there will be times Lexi may want or need both of us touching her. I have come to terms with it.” I said.

“ So you are okay with me touching Lexi while you are kissing her. Or watching while I fuck her?” Ryan asked. “ Am I okay with watching my mate get turned on? Or receiving pleasure, or watching her glow when she comes knowing I can have her next. Yes, I’m good.” I told him. “ Wait, she glows when she comes?” he asked. I told him the best I could about what she looks like when she is aroused and how it is different from all her other glows. Ryan laughs “ So our mate is basically a mood ring.” I laugh with him because it's true.

After we calm down Ryan asks “ How do we decide who takes her virginity and marks her first?” “ Since I have had several of her firsts and have known her longer, I was going to let you go first.” I said. “ That’s cool of you man.” Ryan said. “ So we have a game plan at least. Since her party's here I will have my room set up. I will have a room set up next door in case you don’t want to sleep in the same bed as me. I recommend packing a bag for a few days at least. I doubt Lexi is going to want to travel until after she shifts” I told him.

Before we can say anything else we both snap our heads towards the front door. Lexi is about to walk through it. I can smell her. I wait for her to come to the kitchen. When I see her I can’t help but laugh. She is on Dean’s back laughing. It is funny because it looks like a kitten hugging a tree. When she sees Ryan and me she smiles. “ Oh yummy. Double mate eye candy.” I walk over and lift Lexi off of Dean. I expect her to want to be put down but she wraps her legs around my waist. I give her a quick kiss and walk her to a stool.

“ So I’m yummy am I?” I asked. “ Yes, very.” Lexi giggles. “ I'm glad you think so. Now it is time for your snack.” I told her, sitting her down. Instead of grabbing her food she motions for Ryan to come to her. Of course he jumps up. He stands between Lexi’s legs as she winds her arms around his neck. “ Hello, my other yummy mate. I didn’t expect to see you so this is a pleasant surprise.” Lexi said. “ Sorry, honey. I couldn’t stay away. My wolf and I missed you too much.” Ryan said.

Lexi smiles and I notice her eyes are flashing. Lexi pulls Ryan closer. “ Don’t apologize. I missed you too.” Lexi said before slamming her lips on Ryan’s. He is caught off guard at first but gives in quickly. After a minute I interrupt them before they start making out on the stool. It isn’t a big deal if they do but I know Lexi wouldn’t want an audience. When they pull apart Lexi lays her head on Ryan’s chest and purrs. Ryan turns to look at me shocked. I can blame him. I have never heard her do that before. I shrug my shoulders and pay attention to Lexi. She is happy but there is something off. Her eyes are still flashing and she is purring. That isn’t normal for her.

I link my dad to have him come to the kitchen. “ Baby, are you feeling alright?” I asked. I get two different voices answering. One growls “ Yes.” And Lexi’s normal voice says “ I’m fine, why?” Ryan pulls away to look at Lexi and we hear another growl “ Mine.” Ryan stops moving, unsure what to do. Luckily my dad shows up. Maybe he has answers. “ Hi Lexi.” dad says. Lexi snaps her head to him and growls. She pulls Ryan to her with one hand and me with the other. She pulls so strong I almost fall. “ Mine.” Lexi snears at my dad.

My dad nods. “ Hello, Lexi’s wolf. Yes, they are yours. Did something happen, wolf?” dad asks. Now it clicks in my head. We have been seeing pieces of Lexi’s wolf but only in times of great stress for Lexi. I link Dean to ask him how long Lexi has been like this. He said she had been a little off since she met with some men the dean introduced her to. It didn’t get bad until they were close to home. That is why he carried her in. He could tell something wasn’t right. “ Strange men at school make Lexi uncomfortable. I could feel her stress, so I came up.” wolf growled. We call her wolf since she won’t give us her name yet. “ That’s good. Lexi is safe now. She has her mates and guards. Let us talk to Lexi so we can fix this.” Dad said calmly.

Lexi’s wolf can be violent if provoked. We don’t want her lashing out at my dad. Ryan picks up on what is going on and helps. He rubs her back and says “ I look forward to meeting you wolf but right now we need Lexi to find out what happened. Luther and I will be right here. She will be safe.” I know Ryan is going to have questions when we are done but he is putting it aside. Lexi leans into Ryan taking me with her. I wrap my arm around her shoulder to offer her more comfort. Lexi purrs again and says “ I like the sparks. I will give Lexi back.”
