Chapter 103

I am frustrated beyond belief. My witches are worthless. I supposedly have some of the strongest, most powerful dark witches at my disposal. And yet the can't give a definite answer on how to override Lexi's mating mark with mine. Well, they can but all the answers they have given me involve hurting Lexi or causing her pain. I don't want that. I refuse to cause pain to my future queen. That is not the way I'm going to get her over to my side. She will hate me and resent me if I cause her any pain. I'm so pissed I have already killed two witches. The remaining have to start over from scratch to give me the answers I want. It is very simple. I want to mark Lexi without causing her pain. How hard can that be? Apparently very hard.

I was waiting for my warriors that I assigned to Lexi to come back. I have four warriors watching while she is at school. That is the only place we know she will be for sure. Everything else is a guessing game. We don't know what pack she goes to. And the wolves around here give off different scents making hard to narrow down. I had her address from my private investigator. We know she has been to her house in a long time. I checked myself. I walked every inch of her house trying to pick up on her scent but it is long faded. That didn't stop me from going through all her clothes to figure out her style. I went through her lingerie and notice she has a mix of cotton comfortable and lacy sexy. I may have taken a pair of her lacy panties with me stuffed in my pocket. And I may carry them wherever I go. No it isn't creepy. It is a way to keep my girl with me until I can get her.

I looked around the house finding out what she likes so I can prepare my house for her. I want her to have her favorite shampoos, body washes, lotions and perfumes waiting for her. I want to stock her dresser and closet with the finest clothes. I wanted to know her favorite foods so I could have our kitchen loaded and my chief prepare what she likes but her fridge was bare. My Lexi knew she wasn't going to be home so she emptied it so nothing would go bad. Smart girl. I want to have a few warriors follow Lexi when she left school to find out where she goes. I want to know every move she makes. I want to know who she talks to. I want to know who her friends are. I want to know who her mates are. I want to know what makes her laugh. I want to know everything about my future queen. I might be a little obsessive but I don't care.

Embrose talked me out of having Lexi followed. He said that who ever we picked to follow her would be spotted quick. If they weren't killed on the spot they would be captured and tortured for information. Then killed. Not that I care about that. The people I have assigned to Lexi are disposable. If the warrior where to be captured and killed I would get any of the information I desperately wanted. So we are just sticking with trailing her at school. And I wait for my daily report that includes pictures. I want to see my beauty as often as possible since I can't see her in person yet. They should be here any minute. Just as I think about them Embry is opening the door leading the four warriors in. I notice one is dragging his left leg and his left arm is hanging by his side not moving.

" What the hell happened to you?" I asked the warrior. He shouldn't be wounded because they had strict instructions to watch only do not engage the Lexi or her guardians. The lead warrior steps forward and tells me that Lexi found them and called them out. She gave them a message to give to me. He told me that the guy that is hardly moving got mouthy with Lexi and she blasted him with some sort of glowing ball that stunned the guy. And she did it without seeing him. He couldn't move anything for ten minutes. They had to carry him to the SUV where he slowly regained some feeling. But not all. I was impressed with Lexi's skills and her control. I know she has the power she could have killed him. I stood up from my chair and walked around my desk to the wounded warrior.

" What gives the right to run your mouth to your future queen? You were just supposed to watch her." I yelled. The warrior lowers his head. " I beg for forgiveness my king." he said. " When the queen said she was prepared to win this war by killing you I couldn't hold my tongue. She is small I figured she was all talk." the wounded warrior said. Fucking idiot. I place my hands around his neck. " And how did opening your mouth work for you? Lexi just stunned you. You just a tiny taste of your queens power. She could have burnt you to ash just by thinking it. The future queen has enough to make you her personal slave or tell everything you have ever done in your life. You got off easy compared to what she could have done to you." I told him. " And nothing compared to what I'm going to do to you for disrespecting my future queen." I said.

I didn't give him a chance to say a word. I twisted his neck, snapping it. Then I yanked as hard as I could removing his head from his shoulders. I throw his head on the floor. Embrose hands me a towel to wipe the blood from my hands my hands . I look down and see some blood got on my shirt. I will have to change it. I'm down a warrior but I have more so it is no big deal. I just hope the next one can listen to orders. " Now that that is dealt with would you tell me the message my queen asked you to deliver?" I asked. I was very curious what she had to say. The warrior that first spoke told me that Lexi said there doesn't need to be a war but if I want one she won't stop until I'm dead and everyone I have enslaved is free. And if I wanted to talk I knew where to find her.

I love her fiery spirit. She is calling me out with no fear. " You may go. Take that mess with you." I said pointing to the dead warrior. Two grab the body and one grabs the head and they walk out. Once the door closes I look at Embrose. " It seems our queen is calling us out. I think it is time to have a face to face meeting. A proper one. Lexi's next school day be ready. It is time for her to meet her future." I said. Embrose shakes his head. " You know you will not be able to just snatch her. With her powers and her wolves." he said.

" I don't intend on kidnapping her. I'm going to make her see reason. That coming over to our side will be best for her. I can be very persuasive when I need to be. You will help me. We will let her know what she will gain by joining us. Then we will give her time to make a choice." I told him. " And you think Lexi will chose us?" Embrose asked. " I'm sure we can give her many reasons as to why she should. Without touching her precious wolves. For now." I said. " Sounds like I need to dress to impress my queen." Embrose laughs. " You laugh, but yes you will. We both will." I said. " So in two days I get to see our beauty up close again. Good, I have missed her smell. I can't wait to know what she will feel like in my arms." he said. " Be ready." I told him.

Embrose shortly after leaving alone with my thoughts and pictures the warriors left before they took care of the body. I sit at my desk and look at the ones they took today. I wanted good pictures so I went and bought a top of the line camera with long distance lenses. Some of the best money I have ever spent. The pictures they have given me show my queen in all her glowing beauty. Today she was wearing a yellow tee-shirt under her thick jacket. She didn't need it now that she has her wolf. She is doing it to keep up appearances even if it is unzipped. She has on a pair of worn blue jeans that sit low on her hips. She had the fire hair of her pulled up in a high pony tail. Not a stitch of make-up and she is still the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.

The guy who took the pictures caught when she sent her message. I could see the determination in her eyes. The guy got a good shot of her just before the dead warrior got blasted. He got a good shot of her glowing hands and he was able to get a picture of her just as she shot a ball of light from her hands. Damn how fast does that camera take pictures? And why she look so hot and fascinating when she is glowing? I have not stopped thinking about her since the day I met her. I can't wait to see what she looks like when her entire body glows. I bet she looks enchanting. Just wait my dear. We will be meeting again very soon.
