Aiden
We have been waiting on the Elders for over a week to get answers about Lexi. Standish has been watching Lexi in class and follows her when she is on campus. Trenton and Nyson have gone to the archives like Razor told them but so far nothing. I have been able to avoid Lexi but Razor is getting pissed at me. I asked a pretty she- wolf to go for a run with me. Not as pretty as Lexi but the girl wasn’t bad looking.I would fuck her if Razor would get his head out of his ass. I can’t get my dick up and when it came time for a run Razor refused to shift.
When I tried to talk to him he shut me out completely. I looked like an idiot in front of that girl. And another girl I asked out Razor came forward growled at her and used his Alpha voice to tell her to stay away from me. What the fuck man? I’m never going to get a decent Luna or even laid as long as Razor keeps this shit up.
I couldn’t take it anymore so I went to talk to my dad. I knocked on his office door hoping he was not busy. “ Come in.” Dad says. I open the door and walk in. Dad is sitting at his desk going over paperwork. The man is always busy running this pack. I help out as much as I can so I’m prepared when it comes time to take over. “ Hey dad. Are you busy?” I asked. “ Never busy for you, son. Have a seat.” I take the chair in front of the desk.
“ What’s on your mind son?” dad asks. “ How did you know?” I asked. Dad laughs “ I know my son. I can tell when you have something you need to talk about. And I can feel the stress coming off you.” I should have known. I can never get anything past him. Not that I ever wanted to. “ Dad, have you ever had a problem with your wolf?” I inquired.
Dad tilts his head “ Can you elaborate on that?” “ Has Andros ever blocked you out? Or refused to shift?” I asked. “ No, I have never had that problem. I don’t know anyone that has. At least not in this pack. I have heard of it on a few occasions. Anything else you can tell me?” he said. I explained about the she-wolves and how Razor acted.
“ As for the she-wolves, he could be acting like that because he knows you will meet your mate soon. I will look into it but I suggest you try talking to Razor. That is if he will talk to you. You need to get to the bottom of this before it affects you both. If you are disconnected from your wolf it could cause serious problems. It could weaken you and Razor to slowly die.” Dad said. I nodded and thought about what he said
“ I’ll do that. Can I ask you something else?” Dad nods “ Of course.” “ When you told me about mates you never mentioned what if we reject our mates. And how is it done?” I said. My dad falls back in his seat and looks at me like I just sucker punched him. “ Why would you want to know about that? Rejecting a mate given to by the Goddess herself goes against everything we believe in.” “ What if the mate she has chosen isn’t a good one? What if the Goddess made a mistake and gave me an inferior make. Not someone good for a person in my position?” I asked. Then I continued “ Is there a second chance mate? And how do you reject your first mate?”
My dad looks at me like he can’t believe what I’m saying. “ Are you telling me you have met your mate and plan on rejecting her?” dad asked. I was going to deny what he asked but I didn’t get a chance because Razor pushed forward. “ Yes, we have but Aiden insists on rejecting her. You can’t let him do this, Alpha.” “ Razor, is that why you have been acting like you have and not shifting.” dad asked. I try to push forward to stop Razor but he keeps forcing me back. “ Yes, Alpha. As we speak Aiden is trying to push forward to stop me from telling the truth. I refuse to be with anyone but my mate. I will not accept another she-wolf. So I have been blocking him and chasing away she-wolves. I refuse to shift and will never shift again if he rejects her. I don’t care if my human thinks she isn’t good enough. I know she is perfect.” Razor growls.
“ Now I understand everything. Thank you for telling me the truth. And as much as I would hate not running with you again. I respect your decision.” dad said. “ I will miss you Alpha. But if I can’t be with my mate there is no reason to come out. I hope he wises up before it is too late.” are Razor’s last words before he goes to the back of my mind and places a wall up. BeforeI can say a word my dad says “ Son, now I know what the problem with your wolf is. And honestly I don’t blame him for what he is doing.”
“ But dad you don’t understand. I can’t have an unworthy mate. I’m going to be Alpha. The Goddess made a mistake.” I said. Dad holds his hand up for me to stop talking. “ First of all the Goddess doesn’t make mistakes. Second, I'm going to ask you to think long and hard before you reject this young lady.” dad said. I stop him this time. “ I’m going to reject her. I don’t care what you or Razor say. I will find a worthy she-wolf to be my Luna and take her as my chosen mate.I just need you to tell me how to reject her.” My dad shakes his head.
“ I won’t tell you how to do it. I will tell you where to look. There is a book in the library. Ihope for your sake you know what you're doing. An Alpha is only as good as his Luna and wolf. You are about to lose both. When the pack finds out what you did I highly doubt they will accept you.” he says. “ How are they going to find out?” I asked. “ I will tell them,of course,” he said. “ What?” “ You heard me, I will tell them. And what about your chosen wolf’s mate? What will she do when she meets him? Do you think she will reject him?” dad asked.
I hadn’t thought about that. But I’m sure she will if she has a chance to be with an Alpha. “ That’s what I thought. I don’t condone this and I will not support you. And I’m sure neither will your mother.” dad said. He looked down at his desk and shook his head “ I have never been disappointed in you son. Until now. The book is in the library. Now get out of my sight.” dad said. His word was final.
I leave in search of the book I need. They will all see that I’m right in this. Lexi is not strong enough to be my Luna. The pack won’t accept a human. Or mostly human. They will see this is the best decision. In this case the Moon Goddess is wrong.
