As soon as Lexi sat down she didn’t waste any time tell us what happened today. The meeting with Valerose,everything he told her, the mate bond type feelings and the confusion she fely by it, the jerk Embrose, all of it that led to her breaking down. I was furious and Stone was growling in my head. “ Easy my sexy beast she isn’t done yet. And Lexi is going to need all four of you to be understanding. Remember Lexi is just as confused as and angry as you are.” Arya said. That calmed us both down so Lexi could continue. She told us about meeting the moon Goddess and how she cried her heart out but how good it felt to do so. How the Goddess comforted her and let her get it all out. Like any good mother would do. Sometimes I forget that to us the Moon Goddess was a power being, a deity. To Lexi she was just her mother, and sometimes that was all you needed.

After Lexi cried the Goddess and her talked about everything. The Goddess agreed it sounded like a mate bond then explained about the Vampire Goddess. I didn’t know that vampires had one. Apparently I wasn’t the only one judging by the looks and dropped jaws of everyone in the room. Lexi told us that she was told the vampire Goddess hadn’t been heard from in over a hundred and fifty years. She just disappeared. Gone dormant is what the Moon Goddess said. There was more to the story about the vampire Goddess, there had to be. Lexi felt the same way but this wasn’t the time for those type of questions. We had other things to worry about. Like the possibility of Lexi have a third mate aand him being a fucking vampire that wanted to kill her.

Lexi told us the moon Goddess thinks the vampire Goddess woke up to just to pair Valerose ans Lexi together. Why? No one knows. Our Goddess told Lexi she would try to talk to the other Goddess to see if she could find out what was happening. It sounded like our Goddess was just as confused as us. “ Arya, how do you feel about the possibility of another mate?” Luther asked her. “ I don’t think I will. Lexi might but not me. Valerose doesn’t have another part to him for me to connect with.” Arya answered. Is it possible that Lexi would get a third mate but Arya only gets two? So confusing. After Lexi told us that the last thing the Goddess told her was that she needed to take Tyler to Aiden’s pack for a visit we were all quiet. I mean what was there to say? There were so many unknowns right now. I know Luther and I are going to have to talk later.

Right now is about was about Lexi. I could see the confusion and frustration on her face. I could feel the stress and uncertainty coming off her in waves. And there was fear coming from her. But what kind of fear? Was she afraid of what Luther and I would think about her if she hadd another mate? Or the possible war? Or having to kill someone? I know Lexi doesn’t want to but will if she has to. She hasn’t done it before but I know she has it in to do it if it means protecting the people she cares about. “ Well from what I understand is that we don’t know shit right now. So this is what we are going to do. We are going to eat together.” Christina said. She pointed to the girls in the room. “ Then they are going to help Lexi get dressed to go out.” The she points to Luther and me. “ You two are going to get dressed as well. Then all of you are going to have a night out. You aren’t going to think about anything pack related. Let loose, get drunk, laugh and dance your night away.” Christina said.

I felt a little of her Luna aura came through. I’m not a fan going out to clubs but for Lexi I will do it. Lexi and the girls help Christina set out the food. We all ate and chatted about nothing in particular. We laughed about some stupid shit one of us saw on tv or silly Youtube video. We discussed upcoming movies that we wanted to see. I paid attention to the ones Lexi wanted to see so we could take her to see them or arrange a girls night out for her. I love Lexi. She is my entire world but I can not sit through any more Magic Mike or Fifty Shades of Grey type movies again. I doubt Luther is much better.

Granted we did some very satisfying benefits from her watching them, if our mate is going to get turned on I want it to be because Luther or me. Not because of some movie. Not to mention it pissed off Stone and Deisel every time her or Arya made a comment about one of the actors bodies or how hot they were. I’m not sure who growled more the humans or the wolves. Luther and I agreed never to watch those movies with Lexi again. She either watches them herself or with as few friends. After dinner Lexi tried to help clean up but Christina shooed her away with the girls to get ready. Since it was going to take less time for Luther and I to get ready we helped with clean up before excusing ourselves.

Since the girls are using another room Luther and I go to the bedroom to change. He takes a quick shower first. I took one when Lexi was talking to the Goddess so I head to my side of the closet. Yes, I have my own side here just like Luther has a side at my packhouse. The new packhouse Luther and I will be sharing a large closet. Lexi gets one to herself. Lexi said it wasn’t necessary but my dad insisted it was and Lexi let it go. I go through the clothes I have here trying to decide what to wear. I’m looking agt my selection of polo shirts when Luther comes in wearing nothing but his boxers. We are shifters nudity is no big deal. “ You are flipping through your shirts like you are having trouble.” Luther said. “ I can’t remember the last time I went to a club. It has been years. No idea what to wear.” I told him.

“ I have no clue what to wear either. So this is what I’m going to do. I’m going to pick something that is comfortable and Lexi thinks I look hot in.” Luther laughed. “ Good idea.” I said. I’m not going out to impress anyone except my mate. So I will go with Luther’s line of thinking. I pick out Lexi’s favorite light blue polo shirt and navy blue slacks. I notice Luther grabs a pair of worn black jeans and blue graphic tee-shirt that says “ Howl like a wolf.” with a picture of a wolf standing on a cliff howling at the full moon. I was sitting on the bed bend over slipping on my dress shoes when there is a knock on the door. “ Come in mom.” Luther yells. “ Hey boys. Melissa just called and said they will be here in a few minutes. I wanted to make sure you were ready for Lexi.” Christina said. “ I’m always ready for Lexi mom. But yes, I am dressed.” Luther said. Christina laughs and shakes her head as she walks out the door. I did hear her say “ That is what I like to hear from mates.”

We walk out to the living room just as the front door to the suite opens. Melissa and Freya come in first and step aside revealing the sexiest woman I have ever seen. My mate Ledxi is standing there with light make up, smokey eyes that make hers pop. Her lips are glistening and a little pinker than normal. Must be some sort of gloss thye used on her. They left her hair down with a corkscrew curl to it. I don’t think I have ever seen a shirt like hers before or if I have I never paid attention. I am now on Lexi. It is white off the shoulder ruffley thing. It has sleeves for her arms. It hangs down to just below her ass loosely. Let’s discuss Lexi’s pants. Black leather, fake, but still. And it looks likew they painted it on her. Not kidding, I can see the strap of her thong through the pants. They some how made her look sexy, and sweet at the same time. Damn, I'm glad we marked her or we would be fighting the men off of her.
