While Lexi was in the shower I made a long over due to my family. When they pick up I say “ Hey dad,” I said. “ Luther, where have you been? You have had us worried. We even tried linking you but all you said was you were doing something and would get back to us. That was hours ago.” dad said. “ I know dad. I’m sorry. It took longer than I thought. And it is too much to explain over link. Is mom around? I want to tell you at the same time.” I explained. He asked me to hold on while he got her.

The pack had already been wiped out.” dad said. “ That’s great. So our Elders can work with Lexi. To train her and help her figure out her powers?” I asked. If our elders already knew about this it would be a big help to both Lexi and me.“ I don’t see why they can’t. So you say the other Elders believe she is the one?” dad asked. “ Luther, how about we set up a welcome party for Lexi. Something small so she isn’t overwhelmed.” mom said. “ Yea, that sounds good. I’ll talk to Lexi. Thanks mom.” I said. “ I love you son but I’m not doing it for you. I’m doing it so I can meet my future daughter.” Mom giggled. I laughed. I know my mom loved me. I never had to wonder if my parents loved me. “ And I will contact Alpha Cline so our Elders and thiers can compare notes and work together to help Lexi.” dad said. “ Thanks dad. While Lexi is in class I will come home . I’m going to stay with her tonight. She has had a rough two days and I don’t want to leave her.” I said.

I smelled Lexi coming down the stairs and knew I needed to wrap this up. “ Luther, her guardians. Does she have them yet?” dad asked. “ She has three from from Alpha Cline’s pack. I think she has three from ours but I’m not sure.” I told him. “ Son, this is very important. Lexi needs to have constant supervision. For her safety. It is amazing she has survived this long and hasn’t been found. A miracle. The Goddess has been watching over her but now we must do our part and help.” dad said.

“ I’ll talk to Melissa. And I link Freya so we can set up round the clock turns.” I said. I talked for another minute before I hung up. I was about to say something encouraging. And even invite Melissa to my pack to see if maybe her mate was there. But I found my focus was on Lexi. I will work harder on controlling all new things.” Melissa shakes her head “ I’m not offended at all. It actually helps. Thank you.” “ You are welcome. I guess.” Lexi said. “ As far as controlling what you can do. We will all work with the Cline Elders and mine to help you. I have a feeling more abilities are coming.” I told her.
