Chapter 131 The Young Sword Master!

Besides the nine beauties, the rare treasures were even more impressive.

Radiant Orb, Mystic Blade, Stellar Core...

Each one was a powerful artifact, all tributes from foreign lands.

Alan looked at it all with indifference.

Xanthe remarked, "Human greed boils down to wealth, power, and lust. With all this in front of you, I doubt you won't be tempted."

She added, "As long as you're tempted, you won't leave my Moonlit Illusion."

Xanthe was confident in her illusion, already picturing Alan's mind being consumed by it.

But Alan just looked at the beauty before him, raised his hand, and choked her neck, killing her without mercy.

"Not interested in women?" Xanthe was slightly surprised. Alan looked like a lecher, yet he resisted the temptation of a beautiful woman.

"Even if you resist women, there's still wealth and power," Xanthe added.

What Alan did next shocked her again.

He raised his hand and shot an arrow, shattering the artifacts into pieces.

Then, he killed all the officials and generals.

Xanthe's expression turned cold, and she played her zither faster and faster.

She claimed, "Even if wealth, power, and lust can't tempt you, it doesn't matter! You still can't escape my illusion."

Xanthe didn't mind. Anyone with a brain would know they were deeply trapped in an illusion.

People with strong willpower would resist these things in the illusion.

However, if resisting these things was enough, her illusion would be too easy to break.

Just as Xanthe was about to mock Alan, he raised his longbow.

The arrow wasn't aimed at Xanthe, which made her even more complacent.

The arrow broke through the air.

Xanthe watched, but then she was dumbfounded.

Alan's arrow curved in mid-air and flew towards her.

[-400,010.]

A huge damage number appeared above Xanthe's head.

"Surprised?" Alan's gaze fell on Xanthe as he spoke.

Xanthe showed an expression of disbelief. She exclaimed, "Did you break my illusion? That's impossible!"

Alan smiled nonchalantly. He replied, "A small illusion can't trap me."

He possessed the Eye of Purity, which could see through all illusions. Although Xanthe's illusion was good, it couldn't deceive Alan's Eye of Purity.

"If illusions are useless against you, then let me show you the true power of the Enchanting Lutenist," Xanthe sneered and began to frantically pluck the zither strings.

The zither music transformed into the shadows of tigers and dragons, carrying a strong sense of oppression, charging towards Alan.

Alan's eyes narrowed.

Five arrows fired simultaneously!

A hundred arrows in a second!

"So powerful..." Xanthe's face turned grim as hundreds of arrows collided with her attack.

The two attacks clashed continuously, and Xanthe soon found it hard to fend off the arrows. Her hands, playing the zither, began to tremble slightly. The intense battle caused her face to flush.

Fine beads of sweat seeped out, soaking her hair and thin clothes.

Alan frowned, and the arrows continued to rain down.

In the next moment, a meteor shower of flames was triggered.

Thousands of fireballs rained down, engulfing Xanthe in a sea of flames.

Xanthe was already struggling, and now the meteor shower made it even harder for her to respond.

"Stop, I can't take it!" Xanthe roared. "What kind of monster are you? How can you be so powerful?"

Alan's lips curled up into a smirk. He teased, "I have even more powerful moves. Want to try them?"

Xanthe's face darkened. She questioned, "Enough, I won't talk to you anymore. What do you want?"

Alan looked around. He said, "I'm here for profit. Your zither is nice. Why not give it to me?"

"Dream on," Xanthe retorted.

"If you won't give it, then I'll take it myself," Alan said.

Xanthe gritted her teeth and glared at Alan. She warned, "If you kill someone here, you'll face severe punishment."

"Are you human?" Alan shot back.

Xanthe raised an eyebrow, clearly not expecting Alan to be so difficult.

"You must be here to find Lysandra's former residence. You shouldn't linger here," Alan said.

Alan replied, "I didn't want to stay here either, but I like your zither."

With that, Alan raised his longbow. He threatened, "Hand over the enchanted zither, and I'll spare your life."

Someone interrupted, "She just said, you can't kill anyone here."

Just as Alan was about to make a move, a gentle and refined voice spoke up.

A pale, frail-looking young man stepped forward.

Alan frowned. He remarked snidely, "I want to kill her. Got a problem with that?"

Without the unlimited resurrection skill, Alan might have been more low-key.

But now, he wanted to be low-key, but his strength wouldn't allow it!

"Young man, don't you know that arrogance brings disaster?" the young scholar said calmly. His tone was mild, but it carried an indescribable sense of oppression.

"You said I'm young. Don't you know that the younger someone is, the more arrogant they are?" Alan's lips curled into a faint smile as he rebutted.

The young man, Isaac Ross, sighed. "I was once very arrogant too, until one day, I came here. It doesn't matter. Being so powerful at such a young age, it's normal to be arrogant. After I beat you down a few times, you naturally won't be so arrogant."

As he finished speaking, Isaac formed a sword gesture with his hand, and a flying sword emerged from behind him.

The flying sword reached Alan instantly.

Alan leaned back, trying to dodge the flying sword's attack.

But the flying sword seemed to have eyes, curving and flying towards him again.

Alan didn't dodge. He wanted to see how powerful Isaac's attack was.

The flying sword pierced through.

[-999999!!]

A terrifying damage number appeared above Alan's head.

One sword, nearly a million damage—terrifying!

After taking the hit, Alan's arrows rained down.

Still, five arrows fired simultaneously, a hundred arrows in a second.

Isaac's expression remained unchanged. He controlled nine flying swords around him, and the arrows approaching him were all shattered by the flying swords. Not a single arrow could harm him.

At the same time, another flying sword flew towards Alan.

Alan's eyes narrowed. Isaac's strength was beyond his expectations.

The flying sword seemed to have a tracking device. No matter how Alan dodged, it locked onto him.

But Alan didn't care. While dodging, he continued to rain arrows.
