Chapter 215 The Shell Returning to MP!

"Yeah," Alan said, keeping it cool.

The old guy with the goatee got all hyped up. This was a big deal. "Sir, please come in. I'll get you the supreme suite."

Alan stayed chill. Sometimes, you gotta flex a little. Especially in Siren's Slumber Isle, where he was a stranger. Meeting the island owner needed some serious clout to avoid any hassle.

The supreme suite was super fancy, with two bunny-eared maids inside.

Alan gave them a quick look. They were like top-tier celebs.

The old man said, "Sir, if you need anything, just let them know."

Alan waved him off, not really looking at the maids. "Bring me the auction catalog and a cup of tea."

"Yes, sir." The maids seemed a bit disappointed but were used to it.

After all, folks who could afford the supreme suite always had bunny-eared maids.

Over at Siren Citadel, Dorian was still fuming. "Uncle Ambrose, why'd you stop me? This is Siren City. I've never been pushed around here. Now that Mr. Silver-Eyed values me, there's no need to take this lying down."

Ambrose sneered, "Idiot. If I hadn't stepped in, you'd have caused big trouble."

"Is that guy's background strong?" Dorian asked.

Ambrose replied, "Do you know Stellaria?"

Dorian nodded. "Yeah, it's a kingdom next to our chaotic land. Not that strong, with the best being a third-time job change."

Ambrose said, "That was before. Recently, Stellaria got a new king, a fourth-time job change ice-fire grand mage, and she is platinum rank."

Dorian gasped. "A fourth-time job change platinum ice-fire grand mage? Even a fifth-time job change gold grand mage might not beat her."

He added, "So, is that guy under Stellaria's new king's protection?"

Ambrose shook his head.

"Then..." Dorian asked.

Ambrose took a deep breath. "He destroyed Stellaria and killed that fourth-time job change platinum ice-fire grand mage."

Dorian was stunned. "What? No way!"

That unremarkable man was actually that powerful!

"The info is solid because the person who brought it just came from there," as he finished, a woman stepped out.

If Alan were here, he'd recognize her as SnowflakeChaser.

Ambrose said, "Without SnowflakeChaser's warning, you'd have gotten us killed."

SnowflakeChaser waved her hand and said seriously, "Ice King coming to Siren's Slumber Isle definitely has a motive. His strength, backed by powerful supporters, is not to be underestimated. We must be cautious."

"Well said." Ambrose nodded. "We need to figure out Ice King's purpose here. If he's here for Mr. Silver-Eyed, we must find a way to expel him, even if it means taking risks."

Just as Ambrose finished, a voice came from outside, "Lord Ambrose, there's news from the Siren Guild."

Ambrose frowned. "Come in."

A bronze-armored warrior stepped in and respectfully said, "The president of the Siren Guild sent a message saying a VIP with assets over five billion gold coins has appeared at the Siren Guild."

"What?" Ambrose was intrigued.

He knew the power dynamics on Siren's Slumber Isle.

Some families might have billions in assets.

But one billion? Probably only the Siren Family had that.

As for five billion, that would be the combined assets of a few superpowers in the chaotic land.

Ambrose instructed, "Treat them well. I'll check it out personally later."

In the supreme suite at the Siren Guild, Alan didn't have to wait long. The auction finally started.

"Welcome, distinguished guests, for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend this auction held by the Siren Guild."

"I'm your auctioneer, Lumielle."

Lumielle's voice was enchanting, and her every smile seemed to captivate the audience.

Alan stayed calm as ever.

Lumielle continued, "Let's start with the first item, the Deep Sea Night Pearl. This pearl from the ocean depths can light up the night. It's great for those heading to the Vast Continent."

The chaotic land has no night.

The Deep Sea Night Pearl wasn't very useful here.

Only on the Vast Continent, where there's day and night, would this item be handy.

"Starting bid at one thousand gold coins, with each increment no less than fifty gold coins."

As Lumielle finished, bids started rolling in.

"Fifteen hundred."

"Eighteen hundred."

"Two thousand."

Alan shook his head. The Deep Sea Night Pearl's value on the Vast Continent wasgenerally no less than ten thousand gold coins.

It was valuable but not in high demand here.

"Ten thousand gold coins," Alan casually bid. He wasn't short on gold and wanted to see if anyone recognized its value.

Apparently, no one did.

After Alan's bid, no one else raised the price.

"In the supreme suite, the voice came from the supreme suite. It's been a while since a VIP entered the supreme suite."

"I wonder who it is. It'd be great to connect with such a person."

"They say you need assets over a billion to enter the supreme suite."

In a room below, Cressida Sterling's eyes lit up with hope, thinking, 'If the person in the supreme suite is willing to help, the Sterling Family's crisis might be resolved.'

The auction continued.

The second item was soon brought up.

Lumielle introduced, "MP Recovery Shell, restores ten MP per second, doesn't occupy an equipment slot, and MP recovery won't be interrupted during combat. This will be very helpful to our mage friends. Starting bid at two thousand gold coins, with each increment no less than one hundred gold coins."

"Twenty thousand," Alan casually stated.

Many mages below gritted their teeth. Twenty thousand gold coins could buy a lot of MP recovery potions.

Spending more gold on such equipment and possibly offending an unknown big shot was unwise.

So, Alan easily won the MP Recovery Shell for twenty thousand gold coins.

Next came the third, fourth, and fifth items... Eight items in total.

Except for two silver-grade pieces of equipment that Alan found useless and didn't bid on, he won all the other items.

Even if he couldn't use them, he could put them in the guild warehouse for other members to use.
