Chapter 200 Kill Leona!

Andrew glanced meaningfully at the Guardian Tower. He wanted to jump in, but he knew he didn't have the juice to change anything anymore. Sticking to Leona's plan was his best bet.

Inside the Guardian Tower, Leona was in a real bind. Alan's nonstop attacks had her barely hanging on. When the Meteor Flame hit, she couldn't even put up a fight. She saw it coming, but the idea of Stellaria getting wrecked by her own hands made her sick to her stomach. Still, what could she do?

'Once Andrew pulls back, I'll head to the Land of Chaos. With the forces left, once Ice King bails from Stellaria, we can totally come back,' she thought. 'Without Ice King, the Nightwalkers from the Demon Lair are just a joke. Stellaria will be mine again.'

She had it all mapped out. With her dual-class Archmage strength after four job changes, she could rise again. In Stellaria, no one could touch her. She'd sweep across the land like Ice King.

But as her health points dropped, Leona thought, 'Andrew and the others should be out by now. Time for me to bounce too.'

Her eyes locked onto Ice King. "Ice King, because of my screw-up, I lost Stellaria for now. But you'll leave, and I'll come back stronger."

With that, Leona summoned the ice-blue banner again.

"Trying to run? No way!" Alan instantly used the Seastop Glyph.

Leona crushed the ice-blue banner. The air went dead quiet. She hadn't left; she was still in the Guardian Tower.

"No way," Leona's face was full of disbelief. Her ice-blue banner had high priority, yet it got interrupted.

Alan said, "Leona, today you must die here; since you have sinned, you must bear the appropriate consequences."

Leona's face turned serious. "Name your price. Let me go."

She stared at Alan, thinking, 'With Alan's greedy nature, as long as the deal's sweet, he won't say no."

"Leona, you've lost the right to bargain with me," Alan said coldly.

Leona shot back, "The Divine Talent Awakening Stone, I know you've always wanted it. You won't get it even if you kill me."

Alan smiled, "Tempting, but I can get the Divine Talent Awakening Stone other ways. Not killing you makes me uneasy. Killing you won't drop it, but Ragnarok's method doesn't reduce Divine Talent Awakening Stones. It'll show up somewhere else."

Leona grew anxious. She hadn't anticipated that Alan would resist the temptation merely to take her life.

"I'll throw in a piece of God-given equipment," Leona said through gritted teeth. "You know killing me won't get you this much."

Alan sneered, "Yeah, I might lose out, but who cares? Some grudges can't be settled with a bit of profit. Remember, don't try to play me. You can't handle the fallout."

Alan didn't stop, and Leona's eyes burned with rage.

She fought back like crazy, but it was no use. "Ice King, what do you want? Just because I used you, you gotta kill me?"

"The kingdom's gone, and I'm willing to give you benefits. There's no beef we can't squash," Leona was genuinely scared. She'd worked so hard to get where she was.

She never thought she might actually die.

But now that it was happening, she was terrified.

No matter what she said, Alan wasn't stopping.

"Ice King, if you're gonna kill me, I'll make you pay even if I die." Leona knew Alan was dead set on killing her, so she went all out.

The ice and fire powers within her surged out, blasting towards Alan.

[-89521.]

[-85692.]

Damage numbers popped up above Alan's head.

But Alan didn't flinch, keeping up his relentless attacks.

Leona's health was dropping way faster than Alan's.

"Ice King, if you kill me, someone will avenge me. You're burning all your bridges!" Leona roared, losing all her royal composure.

She was just a desperate mess now.

Alan didn't care. He had his suspicions. In the Lost Princess dungeon, there were two crystal coffins.

One had been empty, the other held a dried-up corpse.

It looked like a joint burial.

But after Alan killed the Iceflame Corpse King and cleared the dungeon, he didn't think much about the dried corpse.

Now it seemed that the dried-up corpse was probably Leona's male companion. Judging by her reaction, her companion might even be stronger than her.

However, none of that mattered anymore.

Even if her companion was more formidable than Leona, Alan wasn't worried.

Finally, under Alan's relentless attacks, Leona's health hit zero, and she fell in front of him.

[You have killed King Leona. A server-wide announcement will be made. Do you wish to hide your name?]

"No," Alan said.

[Server-wide announcement: Congratulations to player Ice King for successfully killing King Leona. This is a special announcement. We hope all players will continue to strive for excellence.]

At Blackwind Mountains, Andrew and Matthew had just entered the mountains when they heard the server-wide announcement.

Their eyes blazed with rage, their fury palpable.

"Ice King, I'm gonna kill that bastard Ice King." Andrew immediately prepared to rush back.

Matthew raised his hand to stop Andrew. "What good will it do if you go now? Can you beat Ice King?"

"Then what should we do? Just sit here like cowards and do nothing?" Andrew roared.

Matthew took a deep breath and tried to calm him down. "Head to the Land of Chaos. The king's plan was that if we couldn't win, we should retreat there. Once Ice King leaves Stellaria, we can take it back."

"And what about avenging the king?" Andrew asked.

Matthew glared at him. "Revenge? How do you plan to get revenge? Even if you kill him, he can still revive."

"That's not necessarily true," a cold female voice chimed in, and a beautiful woman walked over.
