Chapter 259 Visitors from the Netherland

Dashiell gave a nod and said, "Hope me and my crew are still kicking by then."

Alan motioned to Lysander.

Lysander nodded back and set Dashiell down.

But those dark blue chains still stayed wrapped around Dashiell, just in case he tried something stupid again.

"Watch out!"

Alan's face went pale, and he teleported right behind Dashiell in a flash.

A dark green dagger, glowing with an eerie light, plunged into Alan's chest.

"Immortal Body!"

Seeing the damage numbers pop up, Alan didn't waste a second activating Immortal Body.

Because it was a critical hit, over five million in bright red numbers.

At this range, if the assassin's attack speed was over five, he could easily take him out.

Alan couldn't believe an assassin with that kind of damage would have a slow attack speed.

Sure enough, in a blink, the assassin had already stabbed Alan's chest a few more times.

Without Immortal Body, Alan would've been toast.

Lysander tried to help Alan, but as soon as he moved, a dark green spear came crashing down from the sky, forcing him back.

The impact cracked the ground for dozens of meters, showing just how powerful it was.

Alan couldn't worry about that now and had the God of the Undead activate its domain immediately.

Using the Divine Whip of Striking to fend off the assassin was too risky.

At this level, the assassin probably had at least three to five ways to move around. He could easily get behind and attack Dashiell.

At the same time, Alan summoned Elowen, Oberon, and Kenneth's undead.

The three undead showed up and activated their domains, blocking the assassin's escape.

"Someone from the Netherland?"

Alan chugged a few health potions, his face uncertain as he stared at the petite female assassin in dark green gear.

"Sir, she's a platinum-level assassin at the peak of her fourth job change, and her aura's a bit off."

"And the one facing Lysander is also a platinum-level at the peak of his fourth job change."

The God of the Undead's voice came through. Suddenly, he seemed to realize something and said in disbelief. "How is this possible! At this stage, no one should be able to dodge my divine sense, even when I'm weakened."

Alan's heart skipped a beat, a bad feeling creeping in.

From the aura of the female assassin and the spear warrior, Alan could tell they were from the Netherland.

Given today's situation, it wasn't a shock that the Netherland would show up.

After all, the revival of the ancient Jinse Empire would replace not just the Oceanus Kingdom and Chaos Territory but also the Netherland.

Netherland deployed two level 500 experts right off the bat; their capabilities were truly impressive.

What really freaked Alan out was that there was someone else hiding who had dodged the God of the Undead's divine sense. That was the real nightmare.

Alan was on high alert; he didn't want any surprises now.

"People from the Chaos Territory are so unreliable; we still gotta handle things ourselves."

A voice filled with arrogance and disdain echoed.

Alan didn't bother turning around; he had a hunch that someone from the Netherland might show up. So, he kept his Three Heads and Six Arms state active.

With his MP close to eighty thousand and a steady supply of mana potions, he could keep it going for a while.

The owner of that arrogant voice was a tall, pale young guy who looked like he hadn't seen the sun in years.

He landed on the resurrection altar, gave it a light tap with his staff, and it crumbled to dust.

That move cut off any chance Alan had of sending Dashiell away.

"This guy's aura is even weirder than the female assassin's. Be careful, sir," the God of the Undead warned.

Alan felt a weight in his chest. He thought with the God of the Undead's domain, he was untouchable.

At least in this second job change area, he was supposed to be invincible.

But now, he was facing someone who could match him.

"Can't you handle it?" Alan asked.

"If I come out of the Soul Gathering List, none of them would stand a chance. But if a god steps in at this stage, it could cause chaos. Let's avoid that unless we have no choice," the God of the Undead replied.

Alan felt a bit relieved, knowing he had a last-resort option.

"What? You gonna try and stop me too?" Alan's eyes locked onto the sickly youth who had wrecked the altar.

The youth nodded, tapping his staff again, sending an invisible wave in all directions.

All of Alan's undead outside the domain started to crumble, losing at least a third of his army in one go. One tap, and that much destruction.

The youth looked a bit surprised. "Your domain is... different."

Alan didn't respond but turned to Dashiell, "Stick with me. As long as we're in my domain, he can't touch us."

Alan wasn't looking to keep fighting.

He planned to use the Royal Portal to get Dashiell out and head to another resurrection altar.

Just as Alan pulled out the Royal Portal, the youth vanished.

A loud bang occurred.

The youth's staff struck the God of the Undead's domain, making the whole thing shake violently, and Alan was sent flying.

As he flew, Alan grabbed Dashiell.

He couldn't let Dashiell leave the domain; with the youth's power, he'd easily kill Dashiell.

"This domain is strong. Did you get the God of the Undead's artifact?" the youth asked, still approaching Alan with his staff. "Hand it over, and I won't hurt you."

"Are you dreaming, or did I hear that wrong? If you wanna fight, then fight. Quit the chit-chat," Alan shot back.

Alan was stunned. The domain that had crushed everything before was now shaking from one staff strike.

"Sir, he has an artifact or..." the God of the Undead paused before continuing, "Or he, like you, has a god hidden within him!"

Alan kept a straight face, but inside, he was freaking out.

Whether this guy possessed a divine artifact or harbored a deity within him, was this the kind of being he could encounter at this stage?

It seemed like the Netherland's gods were stepping in, even more than the gods of the Chaos Territory!
