Matthew touched the knife with his finger, and a thousand blades flew at Alan.
Matthew added, "Flame of the Heart!"
Matthew didn't let up. He formed a seal with his hands, and Alan felt a sharp pain in his chest as a flame ignited.

Damage numbers popped up above Alan's head.
Even with the Purification Amulet reducing the damage, it was still crazy high.
"You've been severely injured, and your lifesteal ability has dropped by 1%," Alan muttered to himself and grinned.
The Purification Amulet was super powerful.
The severe injury effect should've been ten percent, but it only hit Alan for one percent.
Moments later, Alan's grin widened, and he started attacking faster.
Matthew was strong, but it seemed unlikely he could withstand Alan's arrows and get close.
But then, the player who had vanished reappeared and struck the ground with his palm.
Alan squinted as he felt a slight distortion in the space around him.
It wasn't enough to hurt him.
But it could change the angle of his arrows.
In other words, his attack direction would be messed up.
This was seriously powerful!
Matthew said, "Ice King, your time's up."
Matthew charged at Alan.
Because of the spatial distortion, Alan's arrows couldn't hit Matthew.
This gave Matthew the chance to close in.
Alan commanded, "Spatial Blink."
Alan immediately created distance and then targeted the player.
'This is nuts. With invincible phasing, fifty percent reduction in three attributes, spatial distortion, what kind of class has these skills?' Alan thought.
The player used invincible phasing again, and Alan's arrow missed.
Alan held his forehead.
Invincible phasing and disappearing. This was really tough to counter.
Alan had no choice but to turn his attacks back to Matthew.

Matthew's body split into three, and in a flash, he was right in front of Alan.
Alan quickly put away his longbow and pulled out his newbie wooden sword to block the attack.
Matthew exclaimed, "How is this possible!"
Matthew was shocked because Alan was an archer and shouldn't be using a newbie wooden sword.
The newbie wooden sword had very low damage but was indestructible.
So, despite Matthew's powerful attack, Alan's newbie wooden sword blocked it.
But Alan didn't give Matthew a chance to think. He performed a ghostly slash and then used Ice Wing to fly into the sky, creating distance.
Alan was already fast, and with Ice Wing, he became even faster.
But Matthew wasn't about to let Alan go that easily.
Matthew yelled, "Shadow Instant Kill Technique!"
Matthew's figure flashed, and he appeared behind Alan.
To be precise, he appeared in Alan's shadow.
Alan responded, "Explosive Slash!"
The moment Matthew appeared, Alan's attack had already landed.
Matthew was startled by Alan's reaction speed and combat awareness, which were insanely strong.
Without ten years of battle experience, such combat awareness was almost impossible.
With the explosive slash landing, Matthew instinctively blocked it.
