Chapter 165 The Gift of the Life Pearl!

Forging a Life Orb, even with Alan's speed boost, still took an hour and had a chance of failure. But nothing could stop him. The time was too short, and his clone's forging skills were too low. Alan stayed calm. He could wait.

Over the next three days, Alan focused on stacking health points. No one disturbed him, and he managed to increase his health to eight million.

Grinding dungeons wasn't enough, so he equipped himself with a Life Orb. He also gave free Life Orbs to Robert, James, Michael, and Zephyrine.

In those three days, he produced thirty-six Life Orbs, averaging twelve per day with a fifty percent success rate. Honestly, it was just average. Alan kept five for himself, leaving thirty.

Alan: [Blade Warrior.]

Alan sent a message to Blade Warrior.

Blade Warrior: [Ice King, what can I do for you?]

Alan sent over the attributes of the Life Orb.

Blade Warrior: [Holy crap, it has no level restrictions, adds 100,000 health points, and doesn't occupy an equipment slot!]

Blade Warrior was stunned. This thing was powerful. Not taking up an equipment slot meant it could be used even late in the game without affecting the normal gear.

Blade Warrior: [Great stuff, how much gold?]

Alan traded thirty Life Orbs over.

Alan: [You helped me before. Consider this a favor repaid.]

Blade Warrior: [My God!]

Blade Warrior thought Alan would give just one, but he didn't expect thirty, and for free!

Blade Warrior: [We're friends, Ice King, you're too kind.]

Blade Warrior discreetly accepted the items. He had been under pressure because the last time he had Berserker Guild help Alan, many elite players died, and they missed out on hunting many Night Stalkers, which was a significant loss.

Alan: [Additionally, if you need more, I can sell them to you in bulk for ten thousand gold each.]

The raw materials for a Life Orb cost about two hundred gold, and with a fifty percent success rate, the cost per orb was about five hundred gold. Selling them for ten thousand gold each was just a small profit for Alan.

Blade Warrior's eyes lit up; ten thousand gold each seemed quite cheap to him.

Blade Warrior: [Ice King, how many do you have left?]

Alan: [One.]

Blade Warrior thought Alan had many more but didn't expect there to be only one left.

Alan: [But my people can forge these, and they can be mass-produced.]

Blade Warrior: [What?]

Blade Warrior was shocked again. If these could be mass-produced, that would be too powerful.

Alan: [Currently, we can forge over ten Life Orbs a day.]

Blade Warrior didn't hesitate.

Blade Warrior: [Ice King, our Berserker Guild will take them all.]

Alan: [Sure.]

Ending the private chat, Blade Warrior was extremely excited and immediately called for a high-level video conference. After all, everyone was in the game, and having an offline meeting would be a waste of time.

Fury Emperor asked, "Blade Warrior, what's the matter?"

Fury Emperor frowned. As the vice president of Berserker Guild, he usually let Blade Warrior handle things.

But Blade Warrior's decision to help Ice King last time had cost the guild a lot. Fury himself missed out on at least two hundred free attribute points and almost died in Stellaria's army.

Others weren't in a great mood either. If it weren't for Blade Warrior's reputation and his role in establishing Mad War Territory, there might have been some arguments.

Blade Warrior spoke up, "I told you, helping Ice King wouldn't be a loss for us."

Fury's eyes lit up in anticipation. He knew Ice King wasn't just any player. If Ice King was willing to share some good stuff, it could be a big help.

Blade Warrior sent the Life Orb's attributes to the group.

"Equipping a Life Orb doesn't take up a slot and adds a hundred thousand health points. Not bad, give it to me, and you guys won't have any objections, right?" Fury said without hesitation.

Others were a bit envious, but since Fury had spoken, they couldn't say much.

"No," Blade Warrior shook his head.

Fury couldn't stay calm. "Blade Warrior, what do you mean? You took the unlimited gold set, and I didn't say anything, but this Life Orb was obtained by our brothers sacrificing their levels and missing out on killing Night Stalkers, and you still want to take it?"

Blade Warrior explained, "Fury, you misunderstood. I mean, each of you gets one."

Everyone gasped, "What?"

Fury and the others in the video conference were all stunned.

Fury Emperor asked, "Blade Warrior, are you saying you have more than one Life Orb? This is special equipment!"

The high-level members of Berserker Guild knew that special equipment usually meant it was unique.

Blade Warrior said, "Ice King gave us thirty Life Orbs for free to thank us."

Everyone exclaimed in unison, "Thirty!"

They all knew the value of Life Orbs, especially at this stage. It was powerful equipment for any class. But Ice King gave away thirty at once.

"That's still not enough to go around," Fury Leo said.

Fury Emperor couldn't help but curse, "Be grateful, it's thirty, thirty! Ice King is already generous enough, and you're still thinking it's not enough."

"It's enough," Blade Warrior continued.

"How is thirty enough?" Fury Leo asked instinctively.

"These thirty are free. Because of my relationship with Ice King, he's willing to sell me more for ten thousand gold each," Blade Warrior replied.

Fury Emperor was excited. He questioned, "Ten thousand gold each? That's too cheap. President, immediately take out ten million. No, all the guild's gold, buy as many as we can."

Blade Warrior smiled wryly. He explained, "I know, but Ice King said he can only produce a dozen or so a day. I've already asked him to prioritize selling them to us."

Fury Emperor said, "A dozen a day is fine. This thing can be used even in the mid to late game."

This video conference changed Ice King's status in their minds. Similarly, Blade Warrior's prestige in Berserker Guild also saw a significant boost.

Meanwhile, Alan cleared the Blackwater Lake Dragon Turtle again, feeling a bit bored. Stellaria seemed to have entered a period of peace. Since Princess Ashley left, there had been no news of any major actions from Stellaria.

Alan thought, 'What are they plotting?'
