Chapter 298 Killing Silver-Eyed Nicholas!

Even though the God of the Undead was a shadow of his former self, he's still here in the flesh.

Silver-Eyed Nicholas? was just a fragment of a soul. Going up against the actual God of the Undead? That's straight-up delusional.

"Rage!"

"Three Heads, Six Arms!"

"Volley of Arrows!"

The moment the God of the Undead made his move, Alan was already on it.

His arrows flew like a storm, supercharged by the True Meaning of Archery.

And they were faster—way faster—than before.

-2701219!

-2701219!

One damage number after another appeared above Silver-Eyed Nicholas's head.

"Let go!"

Silver-Eyed Nicholas roared, divine power surging from his body.

But a remnant soul is still a remnant soul. Held in the hand of the God of the Undead, no matter how much he struggled, it was to no avail.

The leader of the Golden Gate, seeing this scene, immediately wanted to intervene.

But before he could make a move, the Sea God domain had already pressed down on him, making it difficult for him to move!

"No!!! God of the Undead, you're out of your damn mind!" Silver-Eyed Nicholas screamed over and over, but it didn't do squat.

In under a second, Alan took him out.

"Ding, you've offed Silver-Eyed Nicholas. Since you haven't switched professions, no XP for you."

Sea Island, Sea God Temple.

The temple master Lysander opened his eyes, a flash of surprise in his gaze, and his level increased to 500 at a visible speed.

"Ice King, you have truly given me a surprise."

After setting up the plan, Alan had considered killing Silver-Eyed Nicholas, so he had teamed up with Lysander in advance.

Just like before when he teamed up with Cassius, Lysander took 90% of the experience points.

Dragon Capital, East Street!

A lightning dragon shot down from the sky, slamming into the God of the Undead.

The rules of Ragnarok trump the gods!

Even if Alan added the God of the Undead to the Soul Gathering List, it wouldn't matter.

But the God of the Undead didn't die outright—he just got knocked into a deep, weakened slumber.

He'll only wake up once his strength bounces back to a certain level.

Normally, that'd take tens of thousands of years, maybe even fifty thousand.

But if Alan takes out some powerful foes and lets the God of the Undead soak up their undead energy, he could recover way faster.

The plan this time was to have the God of the Undead and Silver-Eyed Nicholas trade blows.

But here's the upside: after the swap, the Soul Gathering List could restore Silver-Eyed Nicholas to his prime.

"Ding, you have killed Silver-Eyed Nicholas. A server-wide announcement will be made. Do you want to hide your name?"

"No."

"Server-wide announcement: Big congrats to player Ice King for taking down Silver-Eyed Nicholas. This is a special shout-out—keep grinding, everyone!"

This server-wide announcement shocked people from other sanctuaries.

Especially Icefire Los Island!

Ayla clenched her teeth, "What the hell? How did Silver-Eyed Nicholas bite the dust?"

Crimson Blossom Demigod's face was grim. "Last we heard from the Three Saints Society, Silver-Eyed Nicholas was in a remnant state, puppeteering the leader of the Cult of the Divine Sheep. Now that he's toast, something's seriously wrong with that cult. We'll have to wait for the Three Saints Society to clue us in on the details."

Mountain and Sea Empire, East Street.

"Now, it's your turn!"

Alan smiled and had the Sea God push the Sea God domain to the limit of Ragnarok's rules detection.

Suppressing with divine might.

"Run, run!" The Golden Gate leader barked, his face stone-cold, as he ordered the crew of Cult of the Divine Sheep and his to bolt.

Sunset Peak and the Three Saints Society weren't about to stick around for a fight either.

They were already outnumbered, and facing Alan's divine power was straight-up suicide.

"Kill the people of the Three Saints Society first."

At Alan's command, Mist Rain Tower took the lead, followed closely by the Heavenly Sword Sect.

The three family heads exchanged glances and finally gave the order, leading the experts of their families into battle.

"Ice King, you win this round, but I'm not done yet!" The Sunset Peak leader snarled, pulling out a scroll ready to smash it.

But then, a haunting zither melody cut through the air, so mournful it made you want to end it all.

An ancient voice echoed, and before the leader could react, a razor-sharp zither sword energy sliced through the scroll in her hand, reducing it to shreds.

"Hand of Malevolence assassin, Heartbreak Zither Demon!" The Sunset Peak leader's face twisted as she activated her Azure Water domain and Rage Control-Immune Body in a flash.

Translucent Azure Water wings sprouted from her back, and with one powerful flap, she shot into the air.

But the moment she took off, a dark formation materialized above her, and jet-black chains erupted from it, coiling around her like a predator snaring its prey.

"Dark Law Child!"

The Azure Water domain on the leader of Sunset Peak rotated, shattering the dark chains on her body.

But just as the chains broke, a blood-red giant sword descended from the sky, striking the leader of Sunset Peak down.

"Giant Arm Swordmaster!"

The leader of Sunset Peak could hardly believe her eyes.

"The three ace assassins of the Hand of Malevolence have all been deployed!"

The moment she finished talking, a swarm of Hand of Malevolence assassins showed up, cutting down the Three Saints Society folks left and right.

Under that divine pressure, the Three Saints Society people were sitting ducks, getting wiped out by the Hand of Malevolence and the Heavenly Sword Sect.

Meanwhile, Leon was going toe-to-toe with the head honcho of the Cult of the Divine Sheep.

Chaos erupted in the field, and Alan continued to maintain the Three Heads and Six Arms state, his arrows raining down continuously.

Even though his arrow speed had shot through the roof, most of these guys had gone through at least five job upgrades, some six or seven, and a handful even eight.

With that kind of firepower, Alan's arrows couldn't touch them. He had to rely on sheer attack speed to keep them pinned down from every angle.

At the same time, he tapped into Silver-Eyed Nicholas's power, slapping silver eyes onto his arrows to pick off the weaker ones who'd gone through seven or eight job changes.

Because anyone Alan took down, he could enslave their soul.

And once he had those undead under his control, he could send them after other weakened targets—and those kills would still count as his.

The snowball would keep rolling, and his undead army would blow up in no time.

The real kicker? The number of souls he enslaved wasn't huge, but the quality was top-tier. Most of them had gone through at least six job upgrades.

These weren't just average grunts—they were the real deal, the mid-to-high-tier fighters of the Mountain and Sea Empire.
