Chapter 275 The Crimson Blossom Demigod

Lachlan flashed a grin and said, "I just love being where the action is. Got a problem with that?"

"Sometimes, poking your nose where it doesn't belong comes with a price." Red petals started drifting down from the sky, and a woman in a petal dress floated down. With every step she took, petals burst beneath her feet.

"Why her?" Lachlan's face turned serious, clearly feeling the heat from her arrival.

Inside the Hall of Glory, Alan was peeking through a crack in the door, watching the scene unfold in the central plaza. He didn't rush out; he wanted to see how things played out without him. He also wanted to figure out who were the enemies and who were the friends of the Hall of Glory.

Back in the day, even with the God of the Undead, it would've been tough to handle these folks. But now, things were different. He had the Sea God and the God-Slaying Sword Formation. If it came to a fight, these people wouldn't stand a chance.

The woman in the petal dress glanced at Lachlan with her crimson eyes, her voice echoing like a ghost. "Lachlan, don't bring unnecessary trouble to your Divine Peak Summit. Leave."

Lachlan's face was serious, but he didn't back down. "Crimson Blossom Demigod, why aren't you planting flowers in your Meklatin Desert? What are you doing here?"

Crimson Blossom Demigod stayed cool, saying, "After planting flowers, I should let people enjoy them." With that, she snapped her fingers. Countless crimson petals started drifting down from the sky.

Seeing this, Lachlan and Leif were both shocked, and they almost simultaneously activated their domains.

Leif's domain was wind, with tornadoes swirling around him, forming a protective shield that could attack or defend. Lachlan's domain, on the other hand, was an invisible, mysterious wave.

"A mental domain, huh? That Lachlan is interesting." Sea God's voice echoed in Alan's mind.

Alan was just as surprised. Mental attacks were the trickiest; sometimes one didn't even know they were being attacked. And getting mental attack methods was tough enough, yet Lachlan had created a mental domain.

Sea God continued, "Too bad this Lachlan is only a demigod, a whole tier below that petal woman, and also a level lower."

Alan was a bit taken aback. The ranking system for bosses and NPCs was the same. They were divided into Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Star, Master, and above Master, there were King, Emperor, and Sovereign tiers!

A Master-level demigod was extremely powerful. Even if Alan activated the God-Slaying Sword Formation, it was uncertain if he could win. Of course, with the Sea God around, Alan wasn't afraid of the Crimson Blossom Demigod.

In the plaza.

When the crimson petals fell into Leif's wind domain, they weren't hindered at all. Leif's wild tornadoes couldn't even budge these tiny petals. Leif instinctively retreated, but there were also many petals falling behind him, directly ignoring his wind domain.

"Mental Shock!" Lachlan shouted, and a powerful wave burst from his domain, spreading outward. The wave hit the crimson petals, causing a brief pause. Then, a cracking sound came from the petals, and they started to break apart.

An even more shocking scene unfolded. The petals didn't just break; they cracked along with the void.

"Those petals merged with the void?" Alan was stunned. No wonder Leif's tornadoes couldn't move them.

"Not exactly," Sea God chimed in. "It's just that the power within the petals is so strong. Like me now, I can tear the void of this Vast Continent with a wave of my hand. This is just a manifestation of immense power." Alan nodded.

In the plaza, the battle raged on. The Crimson Blossom Demigod wasn't fazed by Lachlan dispersing her petals. She raised her hand.

With a light touch of her finger in the void, nine complete crimson flowers flew out. These nine crimson flowers emitted a strange, eerie aura that made anyone who looked at them extremely uncomfortable.

The nine flowers floated towards Lachlan at a seemingly slow pace. Lachlan's hair stood on end, his aura rising as he pushed his hands forward.

An invisible mental wall collided with the nine flowers. A muffled sound. The nine flowers' flight was momentarily halted. But only for a moment, as they continued to drift towards Lachlan.

"Run!" Lachlan urgently shouted at Leif behind him. His aura surged again, and a grayish-blue staff floated above him.

He slammed the staff into the ground, and within his mental domain, the powers of wind, thunder, ice, earth, wood, and fire appeared simultaneously.

"Impressive for a mental class," Sea God said with some admiration. "Not only has he advanced far in the mental path, but he's also comprehended six laws."

Alan saw it too and began to calculate. He had the Creation Jade Plate, which recorded attacks for him to comprehend. And Lachlan clearly had a good relationship with the Hall of Glory.

If he could get Lachlan to attack him with his laws—mental, wind, thunder, ice, earth, wood, fire, seven laws in total. If he could fully understand these laws, his combat power would significantly increase. Especially wind, which would be a great help to Alan right now.

Because wind laws could enhance his arrows, increasing their speed. With his current arrow damage, if the speed increased, he would be invincible.

However, the battle in the plaza once again surprised Alan. The combined power of the seven laws only managed to block seven of the Crimson Blossom Demigod's flowers. Two flowers continued to drift towards Lachlan.

Lachlan shook his head and crushed an unknown scroll. A sword aura flew out from the scroll, shattering the two flowers.

The Crimson Blossom Demigod said, "As expected of Divine Peak Summit, using a sword aura scroll just like that. I wonder how many more sword aura scrolls you have."

Lachlan's face was grim. "That's none of your concern, Crimson Blossom Demigod. At least, using sword aura scrolls to kill you won't be a problem."

"Enough!" At this moment, Ayla spoke, "Lachlan, I have one purpose here. If the new master of the Hall of Glory is strong, we leave. If not, the Hall of Glory will be destroyed! As for you, with the Crimson Blossom Demigod holding you off, I alone can destroy the Hall of Glory!"
