Chapter 239 Treating Alan to Grilled Alligator!

"Kenneth? You mean the brother of the former King Rex of Stellaria?" Lysander looked at Alan, a bit taken aback. "Why are you suddenly interested in him?"

"So, you know him?" Alan asked.

Lysander nodded. "Most people might not, but I know a lot about Chaos Territory. Kenneth operates behind the scenes there. I think he controls Blood Crow Tower and a few other third-tier gold-level groups."

"Why do you think that?" Alan was surprised. "Is Kenneth really that influential?"

Lysander nodded again. "It's not that he's super powerful on his own. Stellaria has been scheming in Chaos Territory from the beginning, trying to dominate and expand. You might not know this, but for Stellaria to rise, they need to control Chaos Territory and Netherland first."

Alan nodded, deep in thought.

Alan asked, "So, for the Oceanus Kingdom to rise, they also need to control Chaos Territory and Netherland?"

Among the three leaders of Magic Lair, Alan had only met the black-robed leader, never the other two.

After founding the nation, the black-robed leader named it Oceanus Kingdom, hinting at the Sea God.

What were the first and second leaders of Magic Lair up to then?

If it hadn't been for SnowflakeChaser's reminder, Alan would have overlooked Kenneth. The guy was really low-key.

"So, do you know where Kenneth is?" Alan asked.

"Most likely in Blood Crow Tower."

Alan nodded. "Do you know Kenneth's level?"

Lysander replied, "Not exactly, but he was definitely stronger than the former King Rex. In Stellaria and many other places, the strongest person is never out in the open."

Alan grinned. "Does the Sea God Temple have other experts?"

Lysander smiled wryly. "I'm the strongest in the Sea God Temple. Of course, if we count you, then you're the strongest."

Alan smiled but didn't fully buy it.

Chaos Territory had been around forever, even before the God Wars.

Even though it was a second-tier region with upgrade limits, Alan didn't believe no NPC had hit the fourth-tier limit over the years. Even if they couldn't reach the fifth tier, leveling up to the fourth-tier limit through boss fights was still possible.

But Lysander was only around level 250, yet he was the strongest openly known in Chaos Territory.

"Alright, I get it."

Alan nodded with a smile and then took off.

Using the Royal Portal equipment, Alan arrived at the Sinclair family.

It seemed Cassius had already informed them, as the guards at the gate immediately ran up respectfully when they saw Alan.

"Sir, are you here to see our leader?"

"Yeah." Alan nodded.

The guard smiled. "He said if you come, there's no need to announce it. We can take you in directly."

Alan was a bit surprised. Cassius valued him highly, even more so than Lysander.

"Mr. Ice, long time no see."

Cassius walked over with a warm smile, showing great enthusiasm towards Alan.

"I heard you have a tentacle of Silver-Eyed Nicholas," Alan said.

Cassius frowned a bit. "Yeah, but..."

"But what?" Alan asked, curious.

Cassius asked, "You've fought the Two-Headed Bloodscale Crocodile, right? Do you know how it got to a fourth-tier gold level?"

"Did it eat that tentacle?" Alan asked, shocked.

Cassius nodded. "Yep, as crazy as it sounds, that's the truth."

Alan asked, "Silver-Eyed Nicholas is an evil god. Wouldn't the Two-Headed Bloodscale Crocodile be targeted?"

"It depends on how you look at it. After all, it's just a beast." Cassius then switched gears. "What do you want with Silver-Eyed Nicholas's tentacle?"

"It's useful," Alan replied simply.

Cassius said, "The Sea God Temple has one, and so does Blood Crow Tower."

Alan shook his head. "I know, but I want them all."

Cassius looked troubled. "The Two-Headed Bloodscale Crocodile is our family's guardian beast, a fourth-tier gold level. You get how valuable that is, right?"

"Five hundred million gold coins," Alan said firmly. "The Crocodile can't help you much. With enough gold coins, you can build an army. What do you say?"

Cassius laughed heartily. "You're generous. In that case, tonight, I'll host a feast. How about some charcoal-grilled crocodile?"

"Sure." Alan and Cassius exchanged smiles.

"Hang tight. I'll be right back," Cassius said.

Alan asked, "Cassius, can I handle it myself?"

"No problem."

Cassius led Alan towards the seaside.

The Two-Headed Bloodscale Crocodile crawled obediently to Cassius's feet.

Cassius patted the Crocodile's forehead a couple of times.

"You're sacrificing yourself for our family's rise. It's a worthy death."

After saying this, the Crocodile got restless and looked warily at Alan.

But because of its master's command, it couldn't escape. It could only look uneasily at Alan and then towards the Sinclair family for help.

It wasn't looking at Cassius.

This alone confirmed to Alan that Cassius wasn't the Crocodile's master. Its master was likely the mysterious fourth-tier platinum-level expert from the Sinclair family.

However, since Cassius had brought him here, it meant that the expert had already approved this decision.

Alan took out the Underworld Longbow and unleashed a barrage of arrows.

Alan's health had already surpassed twelve million, and each arrow dealt over 750,000 damage, even without critical hits.

Forty arrows per second, with a damage per second of thirty million!

With occasional critical hits and the damage from the Eye of Frost, the Crocodile was killed in less than three seconds.

"You have killed the Two-Headed Bloodscale Crocodile. Since you have not yet changed class, you cannot gain experience points."

Seeing Alan's insane damage, Cassius's hand trembled slightly.

Beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

Alan stepped forward to pick up the items dropped by the NPC, and Cassius instinctively stepped aside, clearly intimidated by the damage Alan had just displayed.
