Chapter 183 Invitation from the God of the Undead!

Alan raised an eyebrow. There was a chance! If there wasn't, Blade Warrior wouldn't have gone on and on, let alone sent him the mission details.

Alan shot a message: [What do you want?]

Blade Warrior handed over the mission scroll. [How about you owe me a favor? If you come across something good in the future, think of us a bit more.]

Alan was a bit surprised. Blade Warrior didn't seem to be losing out. After all, his favor was quite valuable.

Alan: [Thanks.]

Alan didn't stand on ceremony; he really needed this thing right now. But it had to be said, Blade Warrior had a lot of class. If he had made demands or asked for benefits,Alan's impression of Blade Warrior might not be very favorable.

Whether it was before or now, Blade Warrior had always based his relationship with Alan on friendship, without trying to negotiate terms.

"I'll accept your favor," Alan thought as he received the pre-quest scroll for the Blessing of the Gods. It was obvious that the newly revived god was the God of the Undead. He just needed to find his location.

When Alan had just killed Zoe and the old servant in green, he had obtained something different. First, there were the blueprints for making landmines and bouncing mines, which were the skills that could be learned by a mechanic. No one had switched to the mechanic class yet, but these blueprints were useless to Alan, so he traded them to Blade Warrior.

Lastly, there was a special item. Special items were generally quite powerful.

[Necromancy Revival: Special Item.]

[Effect: When activated, all creatures that died within the last 24 hours in a 500-meter radius will be revived and follow your commands.]

[(Note: This is a one-time use item and is limited to before the third class change.)]

Alan's eyes lit up. This special item was quite potent. Although it was limited to before the third class change, it could still accomplish a lot. The second class change limit was level 100. With Alan's killing speed, even if he was just grinding, he could kill the monsters in an area dozens or hundreds of times.

The number of monsters in an area, even within a 500-meter radius, wouldn't be less than a hundred. Killing them a hundred times would mean a hundred deaths. A thousand level-100 troops would be very useful in the early stages of the game. Whether for conquering territories or helping with missions, they would be very useful.

However, Alan didn't have an immediate use for it, so he set it aside for now.

After taking over Lone Wind City, the black-robed leader led the Night Walkers to take over Lone Wind City, and Stellaria's top ten Central Cities had already lost half of their territory.

"Continue," Alan smiled faintly.

As he left Lone Wind City, Alan was blocked.

"Amitabha," Tranquil Zen Master greeted Alan with a Buddhist chant, smiling.

Alan squinted his eyes slightly. "What's the matter?"

Tranquil Zen Master smiled, and a divine shadow appeared behind him.

"Divine Shadow." Alan was a bit stunned. This divine shadow was shrouded in a black robe, holding a long barbed weapon, exuding an aura of death. It seemed to be the divine shadow of the God of the Undead.

"God of the Undead?" Alan asked, surprised. No wonder Tranquil Zen Master had mentioned a mission to transcend 100,000 souls earlier. It seemed very likely that this mission was given by the God of the Undead.

'Is the revival of the God of the Undead related to Tranquil Zen Master?' Alan wondered. He wasn't sure, but he didn't rule it out.

"Yes," Tranquil Zen Master nodded. "You just killed two of the God of the Undead's envoys. The God of the Undead has sent me to invite you to meet him."

Alan glanced at the pre-quest scroll for the Blessing of the Gods he had just received from Blade Warrior. The mission requirement seemed to be to find the God of the Undead. This was good. He didn't even need to search for him; someone was leading the way.

Go! He had no reason not to go because taking this trip could complete the pre-quest scroll for the Blessing of the Gods. Of course, Alan had bigger ambitions. His Soul Gathering List didn't have a single god on it yet, which wasn't a good thing. Although the God of the Undead was somewhat average, he was still a god and could be added to the Soul Gathering List.

If the God of the Undead knew Alan's thoughts, he would be very angry. As the dignified God of the Undead, he was considered above average among foreign gods, yet Alan looked down on him so much. But Alan thought, 'Compared to the gods of the Jinse Empire, foreign gods still had a long way to go.'

Even if they made the list, they wouldn't be sages. At the very least, they needed to be formidable entities like the God of Death, Buddha, or God King to earn a place on his Soul Gathering List. Of course, for now, this idea was a bit crazy. But it was said that someone needed courage to accomplish things. Without ideas, it was impossible to achieve them.

"Meet the God of the Undead? Is he going to hold me accountable for killing his envoys?" Alan asked with interest.

Hearing this, Tranquil Zen Master shook his head. "Not at all. The God of the Undead is about to revive, and he needs a spokesperson."

"Aren't you one?" Alan asked with a smile.

Tranquil Zen Master shook his head. "I have some foundation, but it's not enough to become the spokesperson for the God of the Undead."

Alan smiled noncommittally. "What's in it for me if I go?"

Tranquil Zen Master pondered for a moment before saying, "As long as you're willing to meet the God of the Undead, you can learn the Undying Body. Even if you don't agree to the God of the Undead's request, you can still learn it."

Alan raised an eyebrow. The Undying Body was very powerful, and he naturally wanted to learn it. Now, as long as he met the God of the Undead, he could kill two birds with one stone. He had no reason to refuse.

"In that case, as you wish. But I need to go somewhere first. Can you wait a moment?"

"No problem." Tranquil Zen Master agreed readily, not making things difficult for Alan.

It didn't take long for Alan to return. However, the current Alan wasn't the real Alan but his clone. Meeting a god whose revival status was unknown, Alan knew that he needed to exercise caution. So, he sent his clone to meet Tranquil Zen Master. The clone from Triple Projection could even deceive a sage, let alone Tranquil Zen Master.

Tranquil Zen Master didn't notice anything amiss and led Alan towards the Strange Rock Lake.

Strange Rock Lake was very large, with many huge strange rocks standing in the lake, hence the name.

Alan thought, "God of the Undead, let me see how far you've revived."
