Moreover, his quick reflexes and immediate attack to leech health saved him from dying under the Ninefold Gun Strike.

The Silver Commander realized the problem. His subordinates were just tools from which Alan could leech health. The nineteen Bronze Guards immediately retreated, giving space for a 1v1 duel between Alan and the Silver Commander.
Alan squinted his eyes. Without the Bronze Guards to leech health from, and with A Withered Tree Springing to Life Again and Invincible Golden Body still on cooldown, facing the Silver Commander head-on would be very disadvantageous.
"Your subordinates may run, but these Bloodback Turtles won't."
Alan sidestepped to create distance. He knew the Silver Commander could deflect his arrows, making his attacks ineffective. It was better to create distance and attack the Bloodback Turtles, using the effects of the Tome of Life and Death to drain the Silver Commander's health.
The Silver Commander saw through Alan's plan, his eyes growing colder. "Let's see how much these Bloodback Turtles can help you recover."
With that, the Silver Commander charged at Alan again. Alan fought while retreating, each of the Silver Commander's attacks taking tens of thousands of his health. The ultimate moves could even take hundreds of thousands.
But Alan's five-arrow volleys at the Bloodback Turtles restored his health to full. After finishing off the ordinary Bloodback Turtles, he moved on to the elite ones, and then to the Black Iron Blood-Eyed Turtles. He could leech health and continuously stack his health.
However, Alan's strategy of stalling effectively drained the Silver Commander's health.
Over ten thousand health points per second—despite the Silver Commander's passive healing abilities—was still a drop in the bucket.

"Super Armor!" the Silver Commander roared, activating it to negate the knockback effect of Alan's Twisting String Arrow Technique.
Alan quickly onsumed eight different potions, boosting all his attributes. He also replaced his shattered Hydra equipment with gear dropped by the level 20 Poisonous Spider King, enhancing his stats as much as possible.
As the Silver Commander relentlessly attacked,
Alan maintained his barrage with the Fivefold Arrow Volley, althoughthe damage to his Breeze Set had diminished his attack speed to 5.63.
Even with the Fivefold Arrow Volley, the Ninefold Longbow, the Bloodthirst Necklace, and the potion buffs, Alan could only recover just over 200,000 health per second.
Against the berserk Silver Commander, Alan struggled to maintain his position.
However, Alan remained unfazed.
The Silver Commander was losing his composure, his cognitive abilities declining.
In his desperation to kill Alan, he overlooked a critical issue: his own health was depleting at an alarming rate.
With no defense, Alan could deal up to 120,000 damage per second. Including the damage from the Tome of Life and Death, Alan could drain over 130,000 health from the Silver Commander every second.
