Tranquil Zen Master was taken aback. Alan’s plan sounded nuts.

Tranquil Zen Master hesitated, weighing the pros and cons.
Tranquil Zen Master deliberated, ‘Taking out a Nightwalker now would get me free attribute points, but if I go after Andrew, I’d miss out on that.’
After a moment, he agreed: [Alright, I’ll do my best.]
Alan didn’t bother contacting anyone else. He was ready to make his move.
On the front lines, the Nightwalkers were barely holding on.
"King, I'm going for the kill!" Zachary informed as he charged at the leader in the black robe, knowing Alan was about to strike.

Alan was at full power.
This battle was crucial for him.

"You can’t keep up with his speed," Matthew growled, rushing towards Alan.
Alan wasn’t in a hurry. He tangled with Matthew, inching closer to King Rex.
Matthew didn’t suspect a thing. He couldn’t imagine Alan would dare to go after King Rex.
"Now, Robert!" Alan shouted. Robert burst from the crowd, forcing Matthew back with a three-stage slash.
"Damn it!" Matthew cursed, trying to get to Alan, but James jumped in, taunting Matthew and teaming up with Robert to hold him off.
Andrew roared, "Fuck!"
He charged at Alan, but Alan stayed cool.
A golden light shot up from the crowd, knocking Andrew away.
Right after that, Tranquil Zen Master charged at Andrew.
Tranquil Zen Master was strong, but he knew he couldn't hold off Andrew for long. He had to end this fast.
Alan's arrows flew towards King Rex, and the Book of Life and Death locked onto Rex, dealing continuous damage.
Alan didn't hesitate to use the heavy injury potion he got from the Snow Corpse Ruins.
He couldn't afford to be soft-hearted if he wanted to kill King Rex.
Seeing Alan attack, King Rex just smiled.
Alan was taken aback. King Rex didn't seem surprised at all.
"Ice King, you killed the Snow Goddess. I knew you'd come for me next," King Rex said, revealing he knew all along.
"You tricked me into this fight, thinking you could take me down. Too bad you're a bit naive," King Rex taunted.
Alan's arrows didn't hit King Rex; they were blocked by an invisible wall.
Suddenly, something hit Alan, sending him flying.

He used Ice Wing, kept firing arrows, and soon his arrows surrounded King Rex.
The transparent thing attacked Alan again.
"Here you come again, I see you," Alan muttered, using Space Blink to dodge the semi-transparent creature's attack.

This had to be King Rex's summoned beast, capable of walking in the void, making it hard to pinpoint.

The arrows shattered the spatial barrier in front of King Rex.
King Rex looked slightly surprised. He complimented, "You're quite impressive."
A six-armed demon ape suddenly appeared in front of King Rex. Each of its six arms held a golden weapon, easily deflecting Alan's arrows.

Alan was a bit troubled. Summoners, like mages, were weak early on, but once they matured, they were incredibly powerful.
