Chapter 166 Attacking the City Again: Flora City!

Alan took a moment to gather his thoughts. He analyzed, "Alright, I've got the blessings of seven Jinse Empire deities: Gaia, God of War, God of Fire, God King, God of Love, God of Wealth, and Guardian of Time."

But he still needed three more blessings to complete the set of ten.

To get those, he needed at least three more pre-quest scrolls.

Lisa had one, but he wasn't sure about the others.

However, the leaders of the Demon Lair probably had some.

So, by his count, there were three known pre-quest scrolls out there.

That was just what he knew. There were definitely more of them that he didn't know about.

In his past life, over twenty players in Stellaria had received the gods' blessings.

But none of them shared their strategies, leaving Alan in the dark.

After killing Queen Susan, getting the scroll from Lisa was still tricky.

So, he figured he'd start with the Demon Lair.

They likely had more than three leaders with pre-quest scrolls. Others probably had them too.

With that in mind, he decided to negotiate.

Alan headed straight to Lindataria.

At the City Lord's Mansion, he arrived in a black robe, disguised.

The black-robed leader saw him and grinned. He teased, "Ice King, thinking of switching jobs and leaving Stellaria?"

Alan was level fifty-one, so it made sense to leave after the second job change.

"No," Alan replied. "I want the pre-quest scroll for the gods' blessings."

The leader looked surprised. He remarked, "We have it, but it's not something we just give away."

"That's why I'm here to negotiate," Alan said with a smile.

Alan offered, "Five pre-quest scrolls, and I'll help you conquer Stellaria, making the Demon Lair the king of Stellaria."

"Five?" he questioned. The leader frowned. The offer was tempting, but five scrolls were a lot.

Alan continued, "I bet your big brother and second brother are preparing to counterattack Stellaria."

Alan added, "If I help you, their preparations can elevate the nation."

The leader was even more tempted. Alan's guess was spot on.

"I can't give you five scrolls. My big brother and second brother each have one," the leader said.

Alan frowned. Two scrolls weren't enough.

"Four, plus a Talent Evolution Flower," Alan suggested.

The leader shook his head. He revealed, "Ice King, I'm not lying. That's the limit. But we do have a scroll for a god-level hidden job change. It's not for an archer, but you could give it to your partner. Two pre-quest scrolls and a god-level hidden job change scroll."

"What god-level hidden job?" Alan asked.

The black-robed leader replied, "Shield Warrior, called Ninefold Shield Battle."

Alan raised an eyebrow with interest. This job seemed perfect for James, given his strong attributes.

"Alright," Alan said, "but I also need the help of three people. Just give each of them a thousand free attribute points."

Without hesitation, the black-robed leader agreed, "No problem."

Three thousand free attribute points were a small price to pay for a nation.

"Prepare your troops," Alan continued. "Once I take down the city, your forces can move in."

"Deal." The black-robed leader handed over two pre-quest scrolls for the gods' blessings. The task was to capture Stellaria and hand it over to him.

Alan said, "Ashley, Leona, the opportunity was yours. If you don't cherish it, you'll see the consequences of angering me."

After accepting the task, Alan contacted James, Robert, and Michael.

"Brothers, let's do something exciting," Alan said.

James was pumped. He said, "Just hearing it sounds exciting. After the national war, my big sword's been itching for a fight, but I can't find a worthy opponent."

Alan smiled. James was exaggerating a bit. His health and resistances were high, but his output wasn't that strong.

However, Robert had been playing with James these past few days, and Robert's output was undeniably impressive.

Of course, compared to Alan's fifty thousand damage per arrow, Robert was still lacking.

James added, "But Alan, Michael's been out of touch these past two days. The latest news is he found a new tomb, and once he goes in, he loses contact."

He continued, "We asked him offline once, and he said it might take seven or eight days to come out."

Alan didn't know much about the Tomb Explorer profession. He had been in tombs before, but he couldn't say what it was like inside.

However, from the skills Michael used last time, he must have gained a lot in the tomb.

"Alright, then just you two," Alan said, a bit helpless. Michael's curse skills were very effective against high-level opponents.

They could be useful in the peak of battles.

"I'm going to attack Stellaria Central City. You guys mainly help me with beheading and restraining the strong ones, and I'll handle the killing," Alan explained.

"No problem," James answered straightforwardly.

"Let's start with Flora City," Alan said.

Alan arrived at Flora City, and the city gates were open.

Looking at his free attribute points, he had accumulated four thousand seven hundred points, which he could use to enhance his attributes.

After a brief thought, he decided not to use them for now.

His attack speed and movement speed were already quite good.

Alan raised his hand and fired five arrows simultaneously. This time, he showed no mercy.

Five city guards fell immediately.

Before they could react, five more city guards fell.

In less than a second, over a hundred city guards on the city wall had fallen, showing just how terrifying he was.

One of the guards announced, "Enemy attack!"

Another instructed, "Close the gates!"

The city guards immediately closed the gates, and a large number of them began to gather.

However, as soon as they gathered on the city wall, they were stunned because their attacks couldn't reach Alan.
