Chapter 254 Mental Attacks

Alan scratched his ear. With six ears in his Three Heads and Six Arms state, he almost doubted his hearing.

"If you're here just to talk nonsense, you can go die."

Alan unleashed a barrage of arrows, hundreds flying towards Elowen in an instant.

But the arrows hit an invisible barrier in front of Elowen, hanging in mid-air.

Then, void black holes appeared, swallowing all of Alan's arrows.

"Ice King, do you really think you can resist? Against divine power, you're nothing but a speck of dust."

"Dust?" Alan smirked, unfazed.

"Every power has its limits. Let's see how many of my arrows your black holes can take."

He fired again, arrows pouring out like a tidal wave, only to be swallowed by the void black holes.

Alan kept his cool, maintaining a steady stream of over seven hundred arrows per second.

The arrows kept coming.

Elowen's calm expression started to crack, just a bit.

Alan knew he was right.

A muffled sound echoed.

It wasn't Elowen who faltered, but Alan's Floating Sea Bow that gave out, exploding from the strain.

"Ice King, want to keep going?" Elowen asked, still calm.

Alan sneered, "Of course, I do."

He pulled out a beginner's longbow. It didn't boost his critical hit rate, but it was indestructible.

As Alan resumed his attack, Elowen's brow finally furrowed.

The black holes in front of her began to ripple, clearly reaching their limit.

"Enough!" Elowen shouted, waving her hand. The black holes vanished, replaced by a giant silver-white eye.

The eye opened behind her, like a divine eye piercing through space.

As soon as it appeared, Alan felt the void compressing around him.

The Purification Jade Pendant failed, and the spatial pressure made it hard for Alan to lift his longbow.

"Ice King, your resilience is impressive, but how will you handle this space silver eye with Mr. Silver-Eyed's divine power?"

Elowen smiled, confident in her victory. With Alan under control, he was at her mercy.

"Mr. Silver-Eyed sacrificed his divine eye to deal with you. No matter how strong you are, once you're in his eye world, you can't escape." Elowen sneered.

Alan took a deep breath, his gaze steady. "Elowen, right? You've pushed me this far, so congrats."

He slowly raised his Underworld Longbow and beginner's longbow.

"How is this possible?" Elowen was in disbelief. She couldn't fathom what Alan had to counter Silver-Eyed Nicholas's divine eye.

"Nothing's impossible. You've got divine help, and so do I," Alan said coldly.

A chilling, deathly aura started to emanate from Alan.

"Is that the power of the God of the Undead? What did you get when you killed him? You can even use his power," Elowen said, shocked.

"Doesn't matter now." Alan infused the Purification Jade Pendant with the God of the Undead's power, making it strong enough to counter Silver-Eyed Nicholas's silver eye.

Arrows poured out again. Elowen's pupils shrank. She wanted to block them but realized only a few were aimed at her. Most of the arrows were targeting Kenneth and Oberon.

As Alan attacked, his cold gaze landed on Dashiell.

"Dashiell, think carefully before you act."

Dashiell trembled.

He knew exactly what Alan meant.

Alan had already spared the Ashford Family.

If he dared to act, he'd face Alan's undead army.

The Ashbourne Family, Blood Crow Tower—they were all examples.

In front of Alan, they were like paper, easily torn apart.

Even in death, their souls would find no peace, eternally enslaved by Alan.

"Dashiell, if you hesitate now, Ice King can kill you. Do you think we can't?" Elowen's tone was full of threats.

Clearly, if Dashiell didn't act, she'd retaliate.

Alan said, "Better take care of yourself."

Alan's arrows aimed at Elowen were few but still significant.

Two longbows, over seven hundred arrows per second, with just one-seventh of the arrows directed at Elowen, would be enough to overwhelm her.

As for Oberon and Kenneth, they were struggling under Alan's arrow barrage.

A slight mistake would cost them millions in health points.

Oberon was better off.

He had the Sea Ruin Staff granted by the Sea God, with incredible healing abilities, barely managing.

But Kenneth was in bad shape, with less than a third of his health remaining.

At this rate, his fall was only a matter of time.

"Mental Shock!"

Finley waved his staff, sending a circle of translucent ripples towards Alan.

But before his attack could reach Alan, the undead of Orlando and the Two-Headed Bloodscale Crocodile blocked it.

Finley was momentarily taken aback upon seeing the Two-Headed Bloodscale Crocodile, but he did not hesitate in launching his assault.

"Mental Burn!"

He attacked again.

Orlando and the Two-Headed Bloodscale Crocodile began to struggle in pain, damage numbers constantly appearing above their heads.

"Mental attacks?" Alan was slightly surprised. These types of attacks were the most troublesome.

Before players developed divine consciousness, it was hard to detect mental attacks. And there were few ways to defend against them.

Any profession related to mental attacks started as a high-level hidden profession.

However, mental attacks were still limited by the difference in fundamental power.

If Alan wielded the God of the Undead's power, he could block mental attacks.

"Then I'll deal with you first."

Alan mobilized the undead army, charging madly at Finley.

"Ice King, you're underestimating me!" Finley said coldly.
