Chapter 271 The Enraged Sea God
Lysander shook his head, grinning. "Nah, it's under the sea!"
With that, he dove right in.
Alan wasn't far behind.
After diving for nearly two hours, Alan finally saw a massive island suspended in an underwater basin deep at the bottom of the sea.
The crazy part was that there was no seawater on the island, like it was protected by some magic.
"Normally, you can't get in, but with the Sea Goddess's power, we can bust right through."
Lysander broke through this watery barrier with Alan, and they landed on Sea God Island.
As soon as they touched down, a booming voice echoed.
"Lysander, are you serious? Do you think I'm your personal loot box? You show up every chance you get to take my stuff."
The voice was clearly ticked off.
Alan shot Lysander a look. "So, you're that greedy, huh?"
Lysander chuckled awkwardly. "Why not? Plus, I worship the Sea Goddess. Wearing him down and delaying his revival is a win for her."
Sea God squinted at Alan, puzzled.
"Why can't I see through you?"
It wasn't Alan's disguise cloak that was fooling him. That wouldn't trick a god. The real reason was the token from the Hall of Glory's master, which even hid Alan's god-slayer mark.
"He's one of us from the Sea God Hall. I brought him here to show him how I mess with you, the almighty Sea God," Lysander said.
Sea God was livid.
"Seriously? You brought an audience just to stroke your ego? Do you really think I won't use my divine power to end you?"
Lysander just rolled his eyes, digging in his ear. "Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before. Let's do this."
He charged forward with his sea domain.
"Lysander, you jerk! When I break free from this seal, I'm gonna hang you up and beat you for centuries to make you pay for this," Sea God roared.
Alan found the whole thing kinda funny but quickly focused. He needed to study Sea God's combat style, skills, and attack methods, plus the damage and healing abilities.
"You've gotten weaker," Lysander noted, surprised. "Even if you used your power to create a sea domain for that vampire, you shouldn't be this weak."
Sea God's face darkened as he spun the Sea God Trident in his left hand, trying to hide his missing pinky.
But that just made Lysander notice. "Where's your pinky? How'd you lose it? Creating a sea domain for that vampire shouldn't have cost you your pinky."
Suddenly, Lysander had a lightbulb moment.
"Did you cut off your pinky to release the gods' blessing, trying to bless the Ice King and stop him from getting the tenth god's blessing from the Jinse Empire?"
Sea God's face went pale. He didn't answer, but his expression said it all.
"Hahaha, so it's true. Sea God, you're really pitifully stupid. You just helped someone build a sea domain, and you think you can compete with the ancient gods of the Jinse Empire?"
Sea God cutting off his finger to give a blessing was a bit extreme, but not unheard of. But being seen through and mocked by his opponent was a huge humiliation.
The pain was unbearable!
It was a thousand times worse than having his power drained by Lysander.
"Ah! Lysander, if I don't kill you today, all my years as a god will have been in vain."

A loud explosion occured.
The dragon-like Trident collided with the shield, sending a huge shockwave in all directions. The seawater was split apart by the shockwave, creating a massive vacuum area.
Alan's death domain appeared around him, blocking the shockwave while his gaze locked onto the extremely weakened Sea God.
"My turn."
Alan smiled slightly.
"Three Heads and Six Arms."
"Rage."
Alan maximized his attack speed, unleashing a barrage of arrows. Sea God, having just expended his divine power, was defenseless as a rain of arrows flew towards him.
Five arrows at a time, boosted by Rage, increased the attack speed even more. One longbow fired over five hundred arrows, and with two longbows, over eleven hundred arrows flew out per second.
Sea God was horrified. When the first arrow hit him, he was even more terrified.
