Chapter 492 Alexander Falls into the Trap

Daisy clenched her fists tightly, her teeth almost grinding to pieces.

In her heart, she cursed fiercely: "Sophia, Alexander is mine, you'll never get him!"

After that, Daisy walked into the banquet hall.

Alexander and Sophia walked into the banquet hall together, and Paxon, dressed in a white little suit, ran towards them.

He opened his arms and jumped into Sophia's embrace.

"Sophia, I secretly saved some cakes for you, all your favorite flavors."

Hearing this, all of Sophia's fatigue from the day disappeared.

She smiled and kissed Paxon on the cheek, "Thank you, sweetheart, I was just getting hungry."

"Then let me take you to eat."

Seeing Sophia being taken away by Paxon as soon as she came in, Alexander glared at Sebastian angrily.

"You don't even control Paxon. I just brought Sophia back, and he took her away."

Sebastian smirked, "Sophia likes Paxon. If you call me dad, maybe she'll like you too."

"Get lost."

Tyler added fuel to the fire, "I see Sophia's career is booming now, she seems to have a tendency to focus only on her career and not on love. Your situation is a bit precarious."

Theodore joined in the teasing, "The other day, Sophia said in an interview that she's single. She might not even be planning to be with you."

Hearing everyone teasing him, Alexander angrily picked up a glass of wine from a nearby waiter's tray and drank it all in one go.

He vowed, "If I can't win Sophia over within a month, I'll bow to you all."

They were chatting lively.

Suddenly, Paxon ran over, and the waiter carrying drinks almost bumped into him.

Alexander quickly picked up Paxon, using his back to shield him from the waiter's tray.

With a crash, all the glasses on the tray shattered.

Alexander's shirt was soaked with wine.

The waiter immediately bowed and apologized, "I'm sorry, Mr. Cross, it's my fault for dirtying your shirt. Our hotel offers a shirt-changing service for guests. I'll get you a new one. Is that okay?"

Alexander reluctantly nodded.

The waiter immediately nodded, "Then please follow me."

Sophia was chatting with Joyce and Maya when she inadvertently saw Alexander following a waiter.

But why did the waiter's back look so familiar?

Although the face didn't look like Daisy's, the back did.

But Sophia quickly dismissed the thought.

Because the Cross Family had been keeping an eye on Daisy, she shouldn't have returned to the country.

Otherwise, the Cross Family would have caught her at the airport.

Sophia didn't pay much attention and continued chatting with Joyce and the others.

Meanwhile.

Alexander followed the waiter into a lounge.

The waiter handed him a brand new shirt, "Sir, this is in your size. Please try it on and see if it fits."

She handed the shirt to Alexander and turned to leave, standing at the door waiting.

Alexander took off his dirty shirt and was about to put on the new one when he suddenly felt dizzy.

His mind was flooded with chaotic thoughts.

His body also felt unusually hot at that moment.

As a doctor, Alexander knew he had been drugged.

And the drug was potent, taking effect within minutes.

Alexander swayed and collapsed onto the bed.

He no longer had the strength to leave the room.

Even picking up his phone felt difficult.

At that moment, the door opened.

The waiter walked towards him with a smile.

Alexander glared at her coldly, "Did you drug me?"

The waiter nodded without hiding it, her throat emitting a familiar voice.

"Alexander, long time no see. Don't you miss me?"

Hearing this voice, Alexander's eyes froze, "Daisy!"

Daisy walked over with a smile, slowly sitting beside Alexander.

Her fingers gently traced his cheek, her eyes filled with undisguised desire.

"You don't miss me, but I miss you. I think about you every night. Let me hold you."

With that, Daisy pounced on Alexander.

Alexander, too weak to struggle, watched as Daisy approached.

Using all his strength, Alexander rolled off the bed, landing heavily on the floor.

He said coldly, "Daisy, if you dare touch me today, I'll kill you."

Daisy laughed wantonly, "Fine, kill me in bed. You have no idea how I've endured these years, loving you but unable to have you. It's really painful.

Don't worry, as long as I get you, I won't regret it even if I die."

As she spoke, Daisy squatted down, reaching to unbutton Alexander's pants.

In desperation, Alexander grabbed something from the bedside table and hit Daisy on the head.

Though not very forceful, the object was sharp.

Blood immediately flowed from Daisy's head.

But she didn't seem to care.

She wiped the blood from her face, smiling wickedly.

"Alexander, stop struggling. I booked this room, and the door is locked. No one will find us.

Tonight, it's just the two of us. Alexander, I know you're in pain now. I can help you."

Alexander saw his phone on the floor and tried to crawl over to call for help.

Just as he was about to reach it, Daisy bent down, picked up the phone, and threw it into the trash can.

Alexander gritted his teeth in anger, "Daisy, are you fucking crazy? Do you know I'll kill you for this?"

Daisy sneered, "You know my body best. Without a heart transplant, I won't live long. I'd rather get what I want before I die."

With that, Daisy took off her shirt, trying to throw herself into Alexander's arms.
