Chapter 546 Pain Your Aunt

Seeing this scene, Lina was about to explode.

She glared at the two people showing concern for each other, stomping her foot angrily. "Leonard, just you wait. I'm not taking this hit for nothing."

With that, she turned and left.

Behind her, Paxon's childish voice rang out, "Take your breakfast away, or I'll have to throw out more trash."

Already furious, Lina became even angrier upon hearing this.

She grabbed the bag and stormed off.

Her high heels echoed throughout the villa.

Once the door closed, Orla immediately pulled her hand away.

She looked at Leonard timidly, "Uncle Leonard, did I get you into trouble?"

Leonard chuckled and tapped her head lightly, "Asking now is a bit late, isn't it? She's already been hit."

"She was so infuriating just now. No one has ever insulted me like that before."

Seeing her pout in frustration, Leonard smiled and ruffled her hair. "It's okay, let's eat. I've got everything under control."

"Uncle Leonard, if you don't like her, why do you let her cling to you?"

Leonard frowned slightly. "Her father was my mentor and saved my grandfather during a crisis. I owe them both, so it's hard for me to turn her away."

"Did my actions just now make things difficult for you?"

"No, I was planning to end things amicably with her, but she's been stubborn. You actually helped me out."

Orla perked up at this and patted her chest. "If they keep bothering you, you can ask me to pretend to be your girlfriend. That'll stop them. Don't worry, my acting fee is just a meal."

Leonard laughed, "You're easy to please. We'll deal with that later. For now, let's eat. Afterward, I'll take you to meet the Queen."

Paxon's eyes widened with excitement. "Really? I get to see Auntie again?"

"Yes, your uncle invited us to lunch at the underwater restaurant here. We can eat while watching the sharks."

Paxon jumped up from his chair. "This uncle is pretty cool. How did he know I wanted to go there?"

Leonard pinched his cheek affectionately. "Because you're the treasure of our family. Everyone dotes on you."

"Then I better enjoy it while I can. Once my siblings are born, I might lose my place."

Everyone laughed.

Meanwhile, Bianca woke up in the morning to find Smith already gone.

She groaned and blamed herself for sleeping so soundly.

How could she not notice him leaving?

She usually had severe insomnia, so why did she sleep so deeply today?

She got out of bed and was about to head to the bathroom when the door opened.

Smith walked in, dressed in a white suit.

He still wore his golden mask, but Bianca could see the red veins in his eyes.

Did he not sleep well?

She watched as Smith approached her with his long strides.

Each step felt like it was treading on her heart.

Her heart raced uncontrollably.

Bianca scolded herself internally.

She was in her thirties, why was she still acting like a lovestruck teenager?

Smith reached her side, bent down, and kissed her forehead. His voice was gentle, "Did you sleep well last night?"

His restrained and courteous manner made Bianca's heart flutter even more.

She quickly lowered her gaze to hide her emotions and replied softly, "It was okay. Did you not sleep well? Your eyes are red."

Smith's lips curved into a smile.

His voice carried a hint of joy, "Are you worried about me?"

As he spoke, his large hand gently caressed Bianca's cheek.

His gaze was filled with captivating affection.

Bianca couldn't help but fall for it.

She stared at his bloodshot eyes and said hoarsely, "You're my husband. It's only right to care about you."

Smith chuckled lightly, "Thank you. I didn't sleep well last night. Maybe I was too excited about marrying the woman I love."

Bianca frowned, "You love me?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

"Why do you love me? We haven't known each other for long."

"Loving someone doesn't require a reason or time. Sometimes, one glance is enough to wait a lifetime, and you're the one worth waiting for."

Smith's voice was tender and lingering, like a beautiful cello melody.

It made Bianca lose herself in it.

She stared into his deep eyes, feeling there were stories she didn't know.

But she could tell Smith's affection for her wasn't fake.

If he truly felt that way, there was no need for her to keep up a facade.

Her past relationship with Edgar had hurt her deeply, making her lose faith in marriage.

But this political marriage was unavoidable.

Rather than forcing herself to live with this person, she might as well open her heart and try to accept him.

Maybe it would bring her a different life.

Bianca looked up at Smith, her voice raspy, "Smith, you don't have to love me, but you can't lie to me. That's my bottom line. Do you understand?"

Smith's eyes darkened slightly, then he gently stroked her head. "Don't worry, even if I deceive the whole world, I won't deceive you. Now go freshen up, you have a meeting soon."

As the Queen, Bianca's schedule was always packed.

She was either meeting with legislators to discuss national affairs or greeting foreign dignitaries.

After breakfast, her secretary led her to a meeting.

She was busy all morning and finally had a break.

As she left the conference room, she saw Paxon waiting for her.

All her worries and fatigue vanished at that moment.

Paxon ran towards her with his short legs.

As he ran, he shouted, "Auntie, Uncle said he's taking us to the underwater restaurant for lunch!"

Bianca bent down to pick him up, kissed his cheek, and smiled, "Why didn't you go back with Grandpa and Grandma?"

Paxon cupped Bianca's face with his chubby hands, his eyes squinting with a smile. "Because I can't bear to leave you. I'm worried Uncle might bully you, so I stayed to keep you company."

Bianca's heart warmed at his words.

She kissed Paxon's cheek again and smiled, "Then you better stay with me more. What if he bullies me?"

Smith walked over with a smile, took Paxon, and kissed Bianca's forehead gently. "I'd rather spoil your aunt than bully her."
