Chapter 525 Mr. Cross Confesses
The vibrant fireworks lit up Alexander's handsome face, making his deep-set eyes even more captivating.
Sophia was stunned by how Alexander looked in that moment.
Her heart started to race uncontrollably.
Faced with Alexander's confession and his tenderness, she found herself powerless to resist.
She even felt a bit greedy for more.
Her voice became huskier.
"Alexander," Sophia called out softly.
Alexander responded with a gentle "yeah" and began to kiss her lips, his warm, moist lips moving slowly against hers.
His voice was rough, like he had swallowed hot sand.
"Sophia, I like you. Will you be with me?"
Sophia's breath became erratic, her hands clutching tightly at the hem of Alexander's shirt.
She knew what was about to happen.
This moment should have happened long ago, but Alexander's amnesia had delayed their long-awaited reunion.
Sophia's heart ached, and her eyes turned red.
She looked at Alexander with a burning gaze, her voice filled with suppressed grievance.
"Alexander, will you leave me again this time?"
Seeing her tear-streaked eyes, Alexander felt a sharp pain in his throat.
He lowered his head and kissed her lips gently, speaking softly, "No, from now on, I will never leave you again. We will be together for life, never apart."
Hearing his promise, Sophia couldn't help but cry.
Alexander looked at her with a pained expression and gently kissed away her tears.
His warm lips moved slowly from her eyes down to her lips.
Alexander felt the intense emotions he had been holding back finally break free.
He kissed her passionately yet tenderly.
As the intense sensation washed over him, Alexander's mind was suddenly flooded with memories.
There were scenes of him and Sophia in moments of deep intimacy.
The more beautiful the memories, the more his heart ached.
It turned out they had been together before.
They had been so wild and passionate.
Alexander saw Sophia holding his neck, saying she loved him, and calling his name repeatedly.
From these memories, it was clear.
Sophia loved him deeply.
Their time together had been wonderful.
But he had lost that happiness.
Just when they were about to be together, he had forgotten her.
Only now did Alexander truly understand the pain Sophia had felt.
The past memories were like silver needles, each one piercing his heart.
Until finally, tears unknowingly rolled down his cheeks.
Tasting the salty tears, Sophia's eyes widened in surprise.
Her eyes, filled with desire, locked onto Alexander.
Her voice was still hoarse.
"Alexander."
Alexander kissed her lips again, his voice low as he spoke.
"Sophia, I love you."
He didn't give Sophia a chance to catch her breath, kissing her lips over and over again, possessively.
No matter how much he kissed her, it couldn't fully express his love for her.
The brilliant fireworks continued to light up the sky.
Cheers echoed from the Winters Mansion.
But at that moment, they were lost in their passionate kiss, unable to part.
Only those who have weathered storms together know how precious hard-won love is.
They didn't know how long they kissed.
Until Sophia's phone rang, and Alexander reluctantly let her go.
Seeing that the caller was Edgar, Alexander answered the call for her.
Edgar's voice came through the phone, "Sophia, where are you guys? Why aren't you back yet?"
Before Sophia could speak, Alexander replied first.
"Doing what couples do. Don't worry about it."
With that, Alexander hung up the phone.
Then he looked at Sophia with jealousy in his eyes. "Tell him to leave."
Sophia laughed and patted his face, "What are you jealous of? Edgar doesn't like me."
Alexander looked at her in confusion. "If he doesn't like you, why does he keep following you, even to a party?"
"You're so clueless. Even Paxon figured it out, but you didn't. Your intelligence is really lacking."
Alexander looked puzzled.
After a moment, his eyes widened as he asked, "You mean he likes Bianca?"
Sophia nodded, "They met five years ago, but things didn't end well. Edgar wants to win her back."
Alexander clicked his tongue, "That's not something he can just decide. Bianca's status now isn't something just anyone can pursue. Edgar's status isn't enough for her to choose him."
"Can't they break free from that mindset and fall in love freely? The queen is human too."
"The queen is a pawn controlled by those capitalists. Her marriage is a political one. The family of the man who becomes the queen's husband must be of noble status, and clearly, Edgar isn't."
"So they won't be together. You shouldn't try to match them up. It's better to let it go."
Sophia wanted to say something, but Alexander kissed her again.
He gently bit her lip and said angrily, "You're my girlfriend now. You should only worry about my business, not other men's. Got it?"
"What if I do?"
"Then I'll make sure you can't get out of bed for three days. If you don't believe me, try it."
Sophia instantly fell silent.
Because she knew Alexander could do it.
He could go for three hundred rounds without getting tired.
One New Year's, they had a three-day break, and it snowed heavily outside for three days.
She and Alexander spent those three days in bed.
Just like Alexander said, she didn't get out of bed for three days.
Seeing her scared like that, Alexander looked at her curiously, "The fearless Firecracker, why do you turn pale at those words? Did I ever make you unable to get out of bed before?"
"Shut up."
Sophia immediately covered his mouth.
Alexander stuck out his tongue and licked her palm, his eyes filled with a roguish smile.
Making Sophia think for a moment that Alexander had regained his memory.
When they came down from the hill, most of the guests had already left.
They said goodbye to Joyce and Sebastian and drove away.
Back home, Alexander unbuckled his seatbelt and looked at Sophia with deep affection.
"Can you stay at my place tonight?"
"No."
"Then I'll stay at your place. I already stayed there once, and your parents didn't object."
Sophia glared at him, "Don't call them that. They're my parents."
"Sooner or later, they'll be mine too. It's good to get used to it early."
"I only agreed to be your girlfriend, not to marry you. Don't push your luck."
With that, Sophia got out of the car.
Alexander immediately followed, grabbing her wrist and pulling her into his arms.
"Then let me hold you a little longer."
As he spoke, he rubbed his stubbled chin against Sophia's face, making her tingle all over.
Just as they were lost in their affection, they heard the sound of Cola barking.
Cola ran towards them from a distance, followed by Gordon and Felicia.
Startled, Alexander quickly let go of Sophia.
He greeted them with a smile, "Mr. Sinclair, Mrs. Sinclair, you're still up?"
