Chapter 566 Family Blessing

Darren clicked on the video, and as soon as he heard the sound of a baby crying, tears streamed down his cheeks.

His lips trembled uncontrollably. "My Joyce has been through so much again. I'm a grandpa once more, with another grandson and granddaughter. Who do they look like?"

Theodore watched the video for a moment and said, "They're too tiny to tell, but they've got fair skin and big eyes. Especially the third one, looks just like a little doll."

Darren listened to the descriptions, picturing the babies in his mind.

A smile of happiness spread across his face.

He longed to see them, even if he couldn't; just touching them would be enough.

But he knew deep down that Joyce wouldn't give him that chance.

He could only care for her from afar, without the right to be by her side again.

Theodore seemed to understand his thoughts and patted his shoulder. "Dad, don't worry too much. Once Joyce recovers, I'll take you to see her. She doesn't hold much resentment towards you now."

Darren's tears flowed freely. "Really? Can I?"

"Trust me, trust Sebastian. Get some rest now. I'll check on her at the hospital tomorrow and update you."

"Alright, make sure to take everything I asked you to buy. Don't leave anything behind."

"I know, don't worry."

"Send me that video. I want to listen to it when I have time."

Hearing this, Theodore's expression darkened slightly.

Darren couldn't see anything now. He had Theodore compile voice clips from Paxon to play on a loop every day.

Each time he listened, a smile would appear on his lips.

He had placed all his emotional support for the rest of his life on the children.

Theodore immediately sent the video to him.

Before he could leave, Darren said, "Play the video my son just sent me."

The sound of a baby crying filled the room again.

Darren's smile widened.

Meanwhile, Bianca was getting ready for a birthday party, wearing an elegant gown.

Just as she finished her makeup, she received a message from Sebastian in the family group chat.

Seeing the photos in the message, her eyes welled up with tears.

She called out, "Smith."

Hearing the tremor in her voice, Smith walked over and asked gently, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Bianca shook her head, tears in her eyes but a smile on her lips.

"Joyce's two babies were born safely. Look at these photos, they're so adorable."

Seeing the babies in the pictures, Smith's eyes softened even more.

He kissed Bianca's lips and said, "Honey, I heard that the gene for twins is more likely to be inherited from the mother's side. Maybe we'll have a pair of adorable twins too."

Bianca's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Really? I'd love to have a son and a daughter."

Hearing her no longer resist the idea, Smith felt a warmth in his heart.

He leaned down and whispered in her ear, "We didn't use any protection today. Maybe you'll get pregnant."

Bianca blushed and gave him a shy look. "I'm in my safe period, it won't happen."

Smith looked deeply into her eyes. "So, does that mean we can try again when you're not in your safe period?"

Caught up in the moment and the good news, Bianca agreed without thinking.

Hearing her answer, Smith excitedly bit her lip.

In a husky voice, he said, "Then I'll work hard to give you a little prince and princess soon."

As they talked, Bianca's phone buzzed with several messages.

They were voice recordings.

She immediately played them, holding the phone to her ear.

Paxon's young voice came through. "Aunt Bianca, did you see the babies? Aren't they cute?"

Bianca replied, "Yes, they're so cute I want to fly over and see them."

Paxon continued, "Consider this your birthday gift. Dad, Mom, Grandma and Grandpa all wish you a happy birthday. Aunt Bianca, happy birthday! May you always be young and beautiful."

Hearing the family's wishes, Bianca was even more moved.

Despite the stress of childbirth, they remembered her birthday and sent their blessings.

Her heart felt warm and full.

With tears in her eyes and a choked voice, she said, "Thank them for me. I'm doing well. I'll visit the babies and you, Paxon, when I have time, okay?"

"Okay! We've already sent your gift. You should receive it soon."

"Thank you. I'll buy gifts for the babies. Paxon, take good care of them and be a good big brother."

"I will, Aunt Bianca. I have to go watch them feed now. Bye-bye."

After listening to the messages, Bianca was filled with happiness.

She had the support and love of her family and Smith by her side.

She suddenly felt that being a queen wasn't so bad after all.

She no longer resisted the idea as much.

Just then, her secretary came in to report, "Your Majesty, are you ready? Everyone is here, waiting for you."

Bianca stood up, took Smith's arm, and said, "Honey, let's go."

Hearing her call him "honey," Smith froze for a moment.

It was as if his breath stopped.

He looked down at Bianca and asked tentatively, "What did you call me?"

Bianca smiled. "Honey. Why don't you like it? I won't call you that if you don't."

Smith couldn't believe it and smiled. "Say it again. I didn't hear it clearly."

Bianca knew he was teasing, but didn't call him out.

Instead, she said softly, "Honey, let's go. Everyone is waiting for us."

Smith nodded excitedly and walked with her to the banquet hall.

The party was grand, with leaders from other countries and members of the domestic parliament in attendance.

Everyone offered their congratulations to Bianca.

Eva approached with a glass of wine, smiling. "Your Majesty, happy birthday. To celebrate, I invited a famous singer from your country to perform for you. I hope you like it."

She signaled to her assistant, and the stage lights came on.

In the center of the stage, behind the dancers, Bianca saw a very familiar face.
