Chapter 612 Confirming the Girl

Facing Theodore like this, Wilhelmina felt both unfamiliar and familiar.

She wanted to pull away, but Theodore held her arm tightly.

She was powerless against his passion.

All she could do was accept it.

Soon, she lost all resistance.

Theodore kissed her greedily, like a wolf starved for ages.

His kisses made her lose herself, made it hard for her to breathe.

Kaia was on the phone with Paxon.

Suddenly, she heard something fall in the kitchen. She quietly ran to the door and peeked inside.

What she saw shocked her.

Her dad was kissing her mom passionately.

Just like in the movies.

Kaia immediately covered her eyes, but her curiosity got the better of her.

She peeked through her fingers at her parents kissing.

Grinning, she ran to her room.

She called Paxon again.

Paxon sounded puzzled, "Why are you calling back so soon?"

Kaia excitedly said, "Paxon, I just saw Dad and Mom kissing! Does that mean they love each other?"

Paxon, unfazed, replied, "Oh, that's normal. You'll see that a lot. I see my parents do that all the time. They say they love us, but they really love each other the most. We're just accidents."

Kaia laughed, "Yeah, I'm an accident too. Otherwise, Dad wouldn't have ignored me for so many years. He didn't even know I existed."

"You silly girl, you'll get used to their lovey-dovey stuff soon enough."

"Hahaha, Paxon, I like it. I want Dad to love Mom so we can all stay together."

The two kids discussed this for a while before hanging up.

Sebastian came upstairs to call Paxon for dinner.

Seeing Paxon grinning, he asked, "Who were you talking to that made you so happy?"

Paxon looked up at him, "Of course, it was your good buddy, my uncle. He finally got a wife and doesn't know how to kiss her properly. Kaia said they were kissing non-stop in the kitchen. Well, no wonder, he's so old and just got married. He must be making up for lost time."

Sebastian laughed and playfully swatted Paxon’s butt, "You cheeky boy, if he finds out you're making fun of him, he might not spoil you anymore."

Paxon looked at Sebastian with bright eyes, "He has a wife and kid now. He won't have time to spoil me. I know better than to expect that."

Sebastian couldn't help but laugh and kissed Paxon’s cheek, "From now on, Mom and Dad will spoil you, okay?"

"That's more like it. Finally acting like a dad."

"When have I not been your dad? Who tells you bedtime stories every night?"

"But you always promise I can sleep with Mom, then carry me back to my room in the middle of the night. Don't think I don't know what you two are up to. Zaid and Ingrid are too young to understand, but I know you don't want me interrupting your alone time."

Sebastian laughed, feeling both amused and exasperated by his smart son. Even as a powerful CEO, he sometimes found himself at a loss for words with Paxon.

He often wondered if Paxon was too mature for his age, understanding everything without needing to be taught.

What would he be like when he grew up?

They went downstairs, where the family was already seated for dinner.

Derek waved Paxon over, "Hey, Paxon, come sit by Grandpa. I haven't seen you in hours."

Paxon ran over and climbed into Derek's lap.

Looking up, he said, "Grandpa, I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?"

Derek smiled and kissed him, "Let's hear the good news first."

"The good news is my uncle found a wife, and they have a daughter. Isn't that exciting?"

Derek and Elise were surprised, "That's wonderful news! Your grandpa will be thrilled."

"They haven't told him yet. They want to surprise him."

"Oh, so what's the bad news?"

Paxon gently patted Derek's cheek and sighed, "The bad news is your second son is now the only single one left. Aren't you worried at all, Grandpa?"

The whole family burst into laughter.

Sebastian chuckled, "Paxon is so sharp-tongued, always hitting where it hurts. I wonder who he gets that from."

Joyce smiled at him, "Who else could it be? He's your son."

"Ms. Blackwood, are you implying something?"

"Of course, who else would he take after?"

Sebastian laughed and hugged her waist, whispering in her ear, "Fine, he takes after me. I think it's adorable, don't you, honey?"

"Yes, everything he gets from you is adorable."

The family happily continued their meal when Joyce's phone rang.

Seeing the caller ID, she quickly answered.

Sophia's excited voice came through, "Joyce, I'm having a girl! My godson will be thrilled!"

Joyce was surprised, "Isn't it two weeks early for the ultrasound? What happened?"

"I tripped and fell today. Alexander was worried, so we did the ultrasound early. The doctor said it's a girl. Isn't that great?"

Joyce felt both happy and concerned, "Are you okay? Is everything alright?"

"I'm fine, just need some rest. Don't worry."

"Be more careful. I'll visit you tomorrow. Stay in bed and rest, okay?"

"Got it. Just make sure to tell Paxon. He'll be so excited."

After hanging up, Paxon looked at Joyce with wide eyes, "Mom, is Sophia in the hospital?"

Joyce smiled, "She's fine. She wanted me to tell you the doctor confirmed she's having a girl."

Paxon was stunned for a few seconds.

Then he started bouncing excitedly in Derek's lap.

"That's awesome! I have a wife now! Grandpa, you need to help Uncle Leonard. I have a wife, and he's almost thirty and still single."

Derek laughed, "Alright, I'll call him and tell him to hurry up. My grandson is so young and already has a wife, and he's still single."

Paxon hugged Derek's neck, "That's because I'm smart and cute. Sophia likes me, so she's giving me a daughter to be my wife."
