Chapter 578 Shout Out Edgar
Smith kissed her passionately, his hand sliding under her skirt.
Feeling the intense sensation, Bianca couldn't help but let out a soft moan.
She immediately pushed Smith away. "No."
Seeing her retreat, Smith chuckled and kissed her lips lightly. "Don't you want me?"
Bianca's breath was already uneven, and a faint blush colored the corners of her eyes.
Every sign indicated she wanted him, wanted to lose herself with him.
But she shook her head, her voice hoarse. "I can't forgive you so easily. Otherwise, you won't be careful next time."
Compared to her longing, his well-being was more important.
He hadn't come home for days, and she didn't know how badly he was hurt.
But Bianca knew that if it wasn't serious, Smith wouldn't hide it from her, wouldn't go days without contacting her.
Seeing her like this, Smith smiled and kissed her lips again. "So, my dear wife, what do I need to do to earn your forgiveness? Should I get someone to buy a durian?"
"No, durian smells awful."
"How about a washboard? If that's not enough, I can kneel on instant noodles or a keyboard. Anything to make you feel better?"
"Instant noodles are delicious. Are they meant for kneeling? Add an egg and a sausage, don't they smell great?"
Hearing her tone, Smith suddenly laughed.
The laughter tugged at his wound, causing a sharp pain, but his heart felt sweet.
Was his Bianca being playful with him?
He laughed and hugged her again, his chin gently brushing her neck. "I never thought my queen would have eaten instant noodles with sausage. That's rare."
Bianca snorted coldly. "Do you think I'm that uncultured? I've had pies, sausages, those are my favorites, right at the music academy's snack street."
Hearing this, Smith's smile gradually froze.
Wasn't that the food he had once taken her to eat?
Did she remember?
Didn't she hate him the most? Why wasn't she as repulsed as before when mentioning these things today?
Smith looked at her, confused, his voice low and hoarse. "Bianca."
Bianca looked up at him, her eyes gradually filling with tears as she gazed into his deep eyes.
Her voice was hoarse. "Did you forget?"
One sentence left Smith flustered.
He didn't understand what Bianca meant.
He looked at her nervously, his large hand gently stroking her head, his voice filled with suppressed tension. "Bianca, you..."
Bianca brushed his cheek, her voice choked. "I should have known it was you. Why did you jump into the trap knowing it was one? Edgar, are you trying to get yourself killed?"
Hearing her call his name, Edgar froze.
He stared at Bianca's face for a long time before asking hoarsely, "When did you find out?"
Bianca sniffled a few times. "I've always suspected, but I thought it was impossible. When I ate that bowl of Italian dumplings, I remembered the days I was held captive. Sarah came back and told me everything."
"Edgar, how could you be so reckless? Do you realize how serious this is? If Caspian turns on you and pins everything on you, do you know what kind of punishment you'll face?"
Edgar couldn't hold back anymore. He cupped Bianca's face, tears streaming down his cheeks. He looked deeply into her eyes, his voice raw with emotion. "I'm not afraid. As long as I can be with you, even if it means death, I don't care. Bianca, I'm so sorry for the pain I caused you back then, for almost driving you to despair, for making you lose the ability to love. No matter what I do, I can't undo the hurt. I don't expect you to forgive me, just don't push me away. Let me stay by your side, please."
Bianca's heart ached as she lay in his arms, her tears soaking his shirt. She had once thought that no matter what happened, she would never get involved with Edgar again. They would each go their separate ways. But she never imagined that the man who hurt her the most, whom she loved the most, had always been by her side. He had been with her through the toughest times of her captivity. He had reignited her ability to love under another identity.
At this moment, Bianca didn't know if she still hated Edgar. She only knew that her heart hurt. It really hurt. She felt pain for his past, worry for his future.
Bianca's voice was choked with emotion. "Edgar."
Edgar lowered his head and kissed her lips, his voice hoarse. "Bianca, I'm sorry."
Bianca shook her head, her tears falling onto Edgar. She gently removed Edgar's golden mask. Underneath the cold mask, she saw that familiar face. Seeing that familiar face, she couldn't hold back anymore, her small hand gently caressing his slightly reddened cheek.
Bianca looked at him through tear-filled eyes. "Edgar, my heart hurts so much."
One sentence made Edgar lose control of his emotions. He cupped Bianca's face, tears falling onto her. His voice was extremely hoarse. "Bianca, I want to kiss you. Can I?"
Even though it was a question, he didn't wait for Bianca to respond and kissed her lips directly. After five years, they faced each other honestly again, the excitement in their hearts beyond words. It could only be expressed in this intense and passionate kiss. Edgar effortlessly invaded, claiming Bianca's territory, kissing her recklessly. They kissed with fiery passion, lost in each other. They forgot their identities, as if the whole world only had them. As if they were making up for everything from the past five years.
After an unknown amount of time, Edgar finally released Bianca's lips. His eyes were deep, looking at her intensely. Edgar's thumb gently stroked her slightly reddened lips, his voice hoarse. "Bianca, let's never be apart again, okay?"
