Chapter 512 Younger Brother and Younger Sister
The next morning.
The sky was just starting to lighten.
Paxon was jolted awake by the alarm on his watch.
He had promised Elodie they would wake up at four to catch little crabs.
Paxon opened his sleepy eyes and immediately saw the fireflies in the small box next to him.
He was so surprised that his eyes widened.
Paxon quickly got up and started examining the boxes from all angles.
Seeing that Elodie was awake, he immediately made a shushing gesture towards her.
Paxon crawled over to Elodie and whispered in her ear, "Let's not wake up Sophia. She must have come back really late last night. Let her sleep a bit more."
Elodie gave him an OK gesture.
The two of them quietly crawled out of the tent and saw that the other kids were already awake.
Paxon immediately ran over with his short legs and handed them the boxes with fireflies.
"These were caught by Sophia and Mr. Cross during their midnight date."
Lydia asked curiously, "Are they in love?"
Paxon nodded with a smile, "Yep, and soon they'll give me a wife. Then I'll be just like Todd, with a wife."
Todd blushed a bit and glanced at Lydia, saying, "Don't be silly. We're just good friends."
Then he picked a box with Lydia's favorite color from Paxon and handed it to her, saying, "I'll take you to catch crabs."
Lydia smiled excitedly, "These fireflies are so pretty, just like Todd."
Watching them walk away, Paxon couldn't help but complain to Neil, "Todd only cares about Lydia and not us. Isn't he favoring his sister over his brothers?"
Neil nodded in agreement, "Yeah, he only has eyes for Lydia, not us."
Seeing the kids talking, Elodie couldn't help but widen her eyes.
Are kids this mature nowadays?
Turns out the internet was right; if you want a wife, you have to start young.
Sophia was awakened by the sound of laughter.
She came out of the tent and saw Alexander surfing in the sea on a skateboard.
His movements were graceful and cool.
The kids were screaming in excitement.
Seeing Sophia awake, Paxon immediately ran over and grabbed her hand, saying, "Sophia, isn't Mr. Cross cool?"
Sophia smiled and ruffled his hair, "Do you want to try it?"
Paxon widened his eyes, "Can I?"
"Sure, as long as you're not scared."
"I'm not scared. Sophia, go tell Mr. Cross. He listens to you the most."
Sophia picked him up from the ground and kissed his cheek, "You have such a sweet mouth, just like your mom."
The two of them stood by the sea, watching Alexander ride wave after wave.
Paxon made a megaphone shape with his hands and shouted, "Mr. Cross, Sophia needs you!"
Alexander, who had been enjoying himself, immediately came out of the sea on his skateboard when he heard the shout.
Paxon clapped his hands, "Sophia, I told you Mr. Cross listens to you the most. We were shouting at him earlier, and he pretended not to hear."
Sophia laughed, "Really? I'll talk to him later."
Alexander was wearing a one-piece swimsuit that showed off his perfect physique.
Water droplets were still dripping from his hair, flowing down his attractive jawline and into his chest.
Seeing Alexander like this made Sophia's heart skip a beat.
She had to admit, that Alexander's physique was very appealing to her.
Sophia quickly lowered her gaze.
She didn't want anyone to see the emotions in her eyes.
Alexander, still dripping wet, walked over to them and pinched Paxon’s cheek with his cold hand.
He smiled and asked, "Why'd you call me over?"
Paxon grinned, "Sophia said you should take me flying."
Alexander glanced at Sophia, "Is that all?"
Sophia raised an eyebrow, "What else did you think?"
"I thought you were finally going to accept my proposal."
"In your dreams! Just take him to play and be safe."
Alexander smirked, "Then you owe me a kiss."
Sophia pushed him away, "Don't push your luck."
"I meant Paxon should kiss me. But if you want to, I wouldn't mind."
Sophia playfully punched him, "Stop joking around and take him."
Paxon hugged Sophia's neck and kissed her cheek. Then he hugged Alexander's neck and kissed him too, laughing, "Mr. Cross, that kiss was for you. Can we go flying now?"
Alexander laughed and patted Paxon’s little butt, "Let's go, but no crying, okay?"
"I won't."
Paxon was fearless, riding wave after wave with Alexander.
Watching him laugh in the sea, Sebastian couldn't help but touch Joyce's belly. He smiled and said, "I hope our two little ones will be as brave as Paxon."
Joyce looked at Sebastian with a smile, "It's almost four months now. We can find out if it's a boy or a girl. What do you want?"
"I want a daughter as beautiful as you, with big eyes, flawless skin, and chubby lips. I dreamed of a little girl last night, with curly hair, running into my arms and calling me daddy."
Seeing Sebastian so excited, Joyce smiled, "I think your wish can come true. It can't be two boys, right?"
As they were talking, Sebastian's phone rang. Seeing the caller ID, he immediately answered.
"Your Majesty, what can I do for you?"
Bianca laughed, "Don't joke with me. I have serious business. I'm coming back in a few days for a meeting with the national leaders, and I want to stay at home for a few days. I need you to handle my security."
Hearing this, Sebastian immediately accepted, "Yes, Your Majesty, I won't let anything happen to you."
"How's Joyce's baby? Any reactions?"
Sebastian smiled proudly, "My daughter is very well-behaved. She hasn't troubled her mom at all since the pregnancy. Isn't she a good girl?"
Seeing Sebastian so proud, Bianca laughed, "That's great. Otherwise, it would be tough with two babies. I miss Paxon. When I come back, I want to play with him."
"Sure, I'll lend Paxon to you for a few days. He misses you too."
They chatted for a while before hanging up.
Joyce was delighted, "Bianca is coming back. We need to prepare well. She's a queen now, and we must be respectful."
Sebastian laughed and ruffled her hair, "Feels like a royal visit from ancient times."
Soon it was time for Joyce's prenatal checkup.
Early in the morning, Paxon climbed into Joyce's bed, lying next to her and staring at her belly. His little hand gently stroked it, whispering, "Sister, I'm going to see you today. Dad says you're prettier than Lydia. I'm so excited."
Joyce felt the movement and opened her eyes, smiling as she ruffled Paxon's hair. "Mom is excited too. We'll go together later."
"Yay! I need to dress up handsomely to meet my sister."
The family of three got ready and went to the maternity hospital.
Paxon stayed with Joyce the whole time, standing next to the doctor and staring at the computer screen. The doctor was charmed by his cute appearance and pointed to the ultrasound image, saying, "See? This is your sister, and this is your brother. Both babies are as beautiful as you."
