Chapter 621 Deal with Two-faced
Phoenix and the others decided it was time and pretended to head to the restroom.
They found the door locked and quickly sought out hotel staff.
When Theodore heard, he grabbed Kaia and rushed to the restroom.
The restroom had somehow become crowded with many socialites, all wanting to use it.
Seeing the situation, Theodore asked in a deep voice, "What's going on here?"
A woman sneered, "What else could it be? Someone's probably having an affair in there. That woman must be really cheap, not even getting a room, just doing it here."
"Isn't it about seeking more excitement? I've seen this kind of thing a lot. Last time I went to the restroom, I encountered one. That woman was screaming so loudly."
Hearing these words, Theodore instantly felt uneasy.
He glared coldly at the woman blocking the door, "Move!"
Someone curiously asked, "Mr. Vale, do you know the person inside?"
Theodore's voice was as cold as ice, "If you don't move, I'll kick you all out."
Seeing he was really angry, everyone quickly made way.
Phoenix asked worriedly, "Theodore, is Mrs. Vale inside?"
One sentence shocked everyone.
"What? Mr. Vale is married? How come I didn't know?"
"Could the person inside be Mrs. Vale? Just married and already having an affair in the restroom, unbelievable!"
"I heard they secretly had a child before getting married. Who knows if the child is Mr. Vale's?"
"Mr. Vale is such a good person, how could he marry such a woman? He must have been deceived."
Hearing the arguments around him, Theodore's face grew darker.
He raised his foot, about to kick the restroom door, when it suddenly opened from the inside.
Wilhelmina emerged, unharmed.
Theodore immediately walked over, looking her up and down, his voice trembling slightly, "Wilhelmina, are you okay?"
Kaia saw Wilhelmina and burst into tears.
She ran into Wilhelmina's arms, crying, "Mom, they were all saying bad things about you. My mom is not a bad woman."
Wilhelmina gently stroked Kaia's head, soothing her softly, "Kaia, don't cry. Let Daddy hold you for now. Mommy has something to take care of."
She handed Kaia to Theodore, her eyes showing determination and fierceness, "Honey, I'm fine, but you need to wait for me. I have something to handle."
Theodore, seeing her like this, naturally understood. He rubbed her head, comforting her, "Do what you need to. If you beat them up, I'll clean up the mess."
Knowing what was about to happen, he worried Kaia might be scared.
He had his assistant take her away.
Wilhelmina glanced at the people at the door, asking coldly, "Who is Ondine Tate?"
Ondine was Phoenix's best friend.
Hearing Wilhelmina call her name, Ondine trembled in fear.
She knew that since Wilhelmina had come out, the man hadn't succeeded, and she had been betrayed.
Ondine hung her head, trying to sneak away.
Suddenly, a woman shouted, "The one in the wool coat."
Wilhelmina's gaze turned icy, "Are you coming over, or should I go to you?"
Ondine stammered, "What do you want? It's your own lack of decency. You've married Mr. Vale, yet you're still involved with Jett. Are you trying to blame me?"
Wilhelmina sneered, "How do you know the person inside is Jett? Did you send him?"
"I didn't! Don't talk nonsense. You're just trying to frame me because Mr. Vale caught you. It's impossible."
Wilhelmina walked up to her, swung her arm, and slapped her hard across the face, her lips curling with fierceness, "You wanted him to assault me and then have Theodore catch us. Such a lowly trick, and you think it would work on me."
She slapped the other side of Ondine's face, her voice even colder.
"You're upset I married Theodore? If you have the guts, confront me directly. Using such despicable methods behind my back, what kind of skill is that? You all are supposed to be Miss Thomas's friends. Learn from her. She's Theodore's ex-girlfriend, and she hasn't done anything to me. What business is it of yours? Besides, even if she wanted to settle scores with me, she wouldn't have the right. She broke up with Theodore first, and then we got together. What right do you have?"
Though she didn't directly accuse Phoenix of being behind this, her meaning was clear.
Everyone's eyes turned to Phoenix, starting to whisper.
"Could it be Miss Thomas? She looks so dignified and elegant, but she's actually so vile."
"She regrets Theodore getting married and wants to take him back. There's no such thing as that in this world."
Listening to the murmurs, Phoenix bit her lip hard.
Her gaze turned cold as she looked at Wilhelmina, "Mrs. Vale, you hit my friend without evidence. I won't let this go."
Wilhelmina sneered, "You want evidence? Just wait."
She opened the restroom door.
Everyone looked inside.
Jett's hands were tied to the drainpipe with a belt, his mouth stuffed with a toilet brush.
He made painful sounds from his throat.
Wilhelmina walked over, yanked out the toilet brush, causing Jett Evans to scream in pain.
Seeing Ondine, he cursed, "Ondine, you damned woman! She tricked me into coming here. I didn't know she was Mrs. Vale. If I had known, I wouldn't have dared. Mr. Vale, please spare me. I didn't touch Mrs. Vale. She beat me the whole time. It's my fault for coveting Mrs. Vale. Please forgive me, Mr. Vale."
Hearing his pleas, Theodore's lips curled into a sinister smile.
He walked up to Jett, sneering, "You want me to spare you? Dream on!"
He kicked Jett's thigh.
A sharp crack sounded, and Jett screamed in pain.
"Ah, Mr. Vale, stop! My leg is broken."
Theodore, like a beast, kicked Jett several more times.
Each kick was deadly.
Watching Jett kneel on the ground, wailing, Theodore held Wilhelmina and looked at Phoenix, saying, "This isn't over. The Evans family and the Tate family, I won't spare any of them. Phoenix, if you have more tricks, bring them on. I'll deal with each one!"
He held Wilhelmina and left.
Phoenix's face turned pale.
Looking at Jett kneeling and wailing, then at Ondine holding her swollen face, she gritted her teeth.
Wilhelmina, if that's how it is, don't blame me for being ruthless.
She glared at Ondine, saying coldly, "You caused this mess, clean it up yourself!"
She turned and left.
