Chapter 556 Reconciliation

Paxon's words were cut off as Bianca covered his mouth.

She quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and carried Paxon out of the car.

Bianca's cheeks were still flushed as they stepped outside.

Paxon cupped her face with his hands, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Auntie, don't be shy. Last time when I went on my parents' honeymoon, they were so busy kissing that they forgot about me, and I ended up wetting my pants."

Bianca and Smith burst into laughter at his words.

The three of them joined the crowd heading to the next attraction.

When they reached Bear Valley, Paxon's excitement was palpable. "Uncle, I want to ride that one. Will you go with me?"

Bianca glanced at the description and raised an eyebrow at Smith. "Are you sure you can handle it? Maybe I should go with him instead."

Smith shrugged nonchalantly. "It's a family roller coaster. Of course, we're all going to ride it together."

With that, he wrapped his arms around both of them and led them inside.

As the ride started, Smith gripped the safety bar tightly.

His face turned a bit pale as he looked at Bianca.

"Honey, I'm risking my life for you today. Can you forgive me? I swear, nothing happened with Eva. You're the only one I love."

Before Bianca could respond, the roller coaster took off.

Smith instinctively leaned back.

As the car climbed the hill, his face grew increasingly tense.

He clung to the bar, shouting loudly as the coaster plummeted.

Paxon turned to look at him, unable to suppress his laughter. "Uncle, are you scared?"

Smith stubbornly replied, "I'm just having a blast. I'm happy to be here with you and your aunt."

Paxon gave him a knowing look. "The next hill is even steeper. It'll be even more thrilling."

As soon as he finished speaking, the coaster dropped again.

After several more ups and downs, Smith's shouts faded into silence.

When the ride finally stopped, Bianca immediately patted his face. "Smith, are you okay?"

Smith dared to open his eyes, looking at Bianca. "Bianca, I feel like the world is spinning."

Paxon unbuckled his seatbelt and took Smith's hand. "Uncle, the ride's over. Let me help you down."

Acting like a little adult, Paxon helped Smith off the ride and onto a nearby bench.

He pulled a bottle of water from his bag and offered it to Smith.

Bianca watched him with concern. "How do you feel?"

Smith leaned into her, his voice muffled. "I'm sorry for holding you back. I just need a moment to recover, and then we can go on another ride."

"You're in no shape for more rides. I'll take him, and you can carry our bags."

"Bianca, am I embarrassing?"

"There's nothing embarrassing about it. Leo gets dizzy too. Last time he brought Paxon here, he didn't dare ride any of these."

Paxon nodded eagerly. "Uncle Leonard isn't as brave as you. He didn't ride and even lied to me, saying kids couldn't go on the rides. Uncle, you're the bravest."

He leaned in and kissed Smith's cheek.

Smith felt a surge of warmth in his heart.

He hugged Paxon tightly, smiling. "I hope I have a son like you someday."

Paxon looked up at him. "Then you should hurry up and have one with Auntie. When he grows up, I can bring him here, and you won't have to."

The three of them rested for a while before Bianca took Paxon to explore more attractions, with Smith trailing behind.

Bianca was exhilarated all evening.

She screamed and laughed freely as she rode one attraction after another with Paxon.

It felt like she was reliving her childhood.

Seeing her so happy, Smith's lips curved into a smile.

He whispered softly, "Bianca, I hope you're always this happy."

At ten o'clock, the fireworks show began.

The square was already packed with people.

Paxon eagerly pulled them over.

Bianca held Paxon, and Smith wrapped his arms around her from behind.

With a loud bang, the fireworks lit up the sky.

Paxon shouted excitedly, "So beautiful!"

Everyone's attention was on the fireworks, but Smith's gaze remained fixed on Bianca.

The dazzling display made her stunning face even more enchanting.

Her peacock blue mask added a touch of allure.

Unable to resist, Smith leaned in and brushed his warm lips against her ear.

His voice was husky. "Bianca, I love you."

Bianca was startled by his sudden confession.

She was about to push him away when Smith's voice came again, low and rough.

"Don't move. Let me hold you for a while."

He lowered his head and kissed her neck.

The sensation made her scalp tingle.

Her heart seemed to skip a beat.

Why was this feeling back again?

She was in her thirties, yet she felt like a young girl with a crush.

Bianca turned to look at Smith.

His deep eyes were filled with affection, staring at her intently.

She was about to speak when he silenced her with a kiss.

This kiss was even more thrilling, surrounded by people.

Though everyone was focused on the fireworks, some might still notice them.

Smith didn't seem to care.

He held Bianca's face and kissed her passionately.

He wished he could freeze this moment, keeping them happy forever.

They didn't know how long they kissed before Smith slowly released her.

He gently brushed her lips with his thumb, his voice hoarse. "Bianca, I'll love only you in this lifetime. If I break this promise, may lightning strike me."

His eyes were intense, filled with deep emotion. Bianca's heart, no matter how cold, melted under his tenderness.

Her eyelashes fluttered as she softly called, "Smith."

"I'm here."

"Don't lie to me."

"I won't. You're my one true love."

Their gazes, illuminated by the colorful fireworks, were even more beautiful.

Their tender, entwined looks lingered.

They couldn't pull away.

When the fireworks ended, Paxon turned to look at them.

He glanced at Bianca, then at Smith.

His big, bright eyes blinked a few times, and he asked sweetly, "Did you sneak a kiss while I wasn't looking?"

Bianca quickly shook her head. "No."

"I don't believe you. Auntie's lips are swollen, and her face is red."

Smith saw Paxon's mischievous look and kissed his cheek.

"I admit it. We did kiss. I just love your aunt too much and can't help wanting to kiss her."

"Smith, don't say such things to a child," Bianca scolded.

Paxon's eyes twinkled. "Daddy always sneaks kisses with Mommy. Daddy says that's love. Auntie, Uncle really loves you."

Bianca pinched his cheek playfully. "You're just a kid. What do you know?"

"I know a lot. I've helped Julian chase Alissa, helped Daddy chase Mommy, and even helped Godfather. Great-grandma says I'm Cupid, bringing people back together. Now that I'm with you, I'll help you too."

He spoke earnestly, with conviction.

Smith almost believed him.

He laughed and lifted Paxon above his head. "Alright, my little Cupid, help me and your aunt get back together."

Bianca chuckled. "We've never been together before. How can we get back together?"
