Chapter 494 He Forgot Me
Alexander was in a coma for three days and three nights.
On the morning of the fourth day, he opened his eyes, and the first person he saw was Sophia.
Sophia was holding a towel, intending to help him wash his body.
He pushed Sophia away and let out a hoarse voice from his throat.
"What are you doing?"
Hearing this voice, Sophia immediately looked up.
Staring into Alexander's cold and sharp eyes, her eyes gradually turned red.
With just one sentence and one action, Sophia understood that Alexander had forgotten her.
At this moment, Elodie walked in from outside.

"Then do you remember her? She's Sophia, the girl you love the most. If it weren't for this incident, you two would have reconciled. Alex, do you remember?"
Alexander's deep eyes looked over at Sophia, with an unprecedented look of unfamiliarity.
Even more unfamiliar than when Sophia first met him.
With just one look, Sophia understood that Alexander had truly forgotten her.
Sophia sneered coldly, "It seems your love for me was just talk. It wasn't as deep as you said, or else you wouldn't have forgotten me."
Alexander's eyes showed no warmth as he looked at Sophia, and his voice carried no sympathy.
"If something happened between us, I can take responsibility, but I'm sorry, I don't remember you."
This sentence was like a knife, deeply piercing Sophia's heart.
Sophia's eyes filled with tears, but her lips curved into a stubborn smile.
She slowly bent down, gently lifting Alexander's chin with her fingers.
"Then tell me, how do you plan to take responsibility?"
Alexander mercilessly moved her fingers away, his expression cold, "I can give you money, but if you want feelings, I can't do that."
Sophia bit her lip hard, "Alexander, you'd better remember this sentence. Don't ever come looking for me in this lifetime."
After saying that, Sophia threw the towel in her hand at Alexander's face and turned to leave.
Elodie cried as she chased after her, "Sophia, don't go. Alexander just can't remember for now. He'll remember you eventually."
Sophia smiled faintly, "No, the doctor said the chances of that are almost zero."
"But Alexander used to love you, and you liked him so much. As long as you see each other often, I believe he'll fall in love with you again."
Sophia smiled and brushed Elodie's cheek, "Don't cry. Let's talk about the future later. If he can't remember me, I can't shamelessly follow him around. I'm not that cheap, Elodie.
I've delayed a lot of work these past few days. I need to go back. Since Alexander is awake, he should be able to leave the hospital. You take him home."
After saying that, Sophia turned and left.
Elodie called out to her a few more times, but she didn't look back.
Walking out of the hospital and getting into the car, Sophia finally couldn't control her emotions.
She lay on the steering wheel, sobbing softly.
Although she had prepared herself for Alexander's amnesia, logically, shouldn't Alexander remember the person he cared about the most?

She knew Sophia was serious about Alexander.

Joyce looked up at him, "Alexander woke up, but he forgot Sophia. He remembers Elodie."

She saw Elodie standing next to Alexander.

But his expression was no longer the carefree and charming one from before; it had become cold and somber.
This was the first time Sophia had seen Alexander since leaving the hospital.
Their eyes met unexpectedly in the air.
