Chapter 508 Win Her Back

The interior design was exactly Sophia's style: minimalist and modern.

Even the furniture was in her favorite cream color, with soft furnishings in white or light pink.

Alexander, being a guy, wouldn't normally decorate his place like this.

Unless he wanted to...

The thought made Sophia's heart ache.

Alexander had bought this villa before he lost his memory.

He hadn't lived here long before the accident.

Sophia had never heard him mention this place.

If the cherry tree in the yard was just a coincidence, how could everything else be explained?

Sophia's mind was racing.

Seeing her troubled expression, Alexander asked, "What's wrong? Don't you like it here?"

Sophia forced a smile and shook her head. "It's nothing. I just didn't expect you to like this style."

Alexander looked around, a bit surprised himself. "Maybe I decorated it to match your taste? Or maybe I wanted it to be our wedding home."

Sophia quickly dismissed the idea. "No way. These homes come pre-decorated. The developer did it."

Alexander looked at her skeptically. "Really? I'll ask the developer about it."

He took her hand and led her upstairs. "Since it's your first time here, let me show you around, even though I don't remember much about it."

Sophia pulled her hand away. "Fine, show me around, but don't drag me."

"I'm just worried about your leg injury. It might be hard for you to walk."

"I'm not that fragile."

They talked as they walked upstairs.

Opening the door to the master bedroom, Sophia immediately noticed a picture frame on the wall.

Inside was a photo of her and Alexander.

Sophia was wearing a long, backless white dress adorned with white pearls.

The dress, a latest Chanel, showcased her waist and long legs perfectly.

She wore it on a dating show, thinking white represented purity and might attract men.

But she hadn't expected to attract Alexander instead.

The photo was taken during a game on the show, where she lost and had to kiss a man.

As Sophia hesitated, Alexander stood up, pulled her into his arms, and kissed her forehead.

She had never watched the replay of the show, so she didn't know how Alexander had kissed her.

Now, seeing the photo, she saw how he looked at that moment.

Alexander held her waist with one hand and her head with the other.

His eyes were filled with intense emotion as he kissed her forehead.

This Alexander was charming and deeply affectionate.

Seeing the photo again, Sophia felt a mix of emotions.

As she was lost in her memories, a low voice suddenly sounded in her ear.

"Sophia, who said we never kissed?"

Sophia blushed and quickly explained, "It was a game on the dating show that I lost."

Alexander frowned. "We were on a dating show?"

"Yeah."

"Did we end up holding hands?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because we only filmed four episodes, and there were four more to go."

Hearing this, Alexander's face lit up. "So, I still have a chance to go on the dating show with you?"

Sophia's eyes welled up as she looked at him. "I've already terminated the contract with them."

Alexander's previously smiling eyes suddenly turned serious. "Why? Because I lost my memory?"

Sophia sneered. "Because the first thing you said when you woke up was that you couldn't handle a relationship. Why would I go on that show and embarrass myself?"

Alexander stared into Sophia's eyes, seeing her sadness.

His memory loss had caused her great pain.

Sophia in the photo liked him.

Her eyes were filled with love.

But the current Sophia was cold and disdainful towards him.

They had been deeply in love, but his memory loss had separated them.

Thinking of this, Alexander frowned.

His voice was low and hoarse. "Sophia, I'm sorry."

Hearing Alexander's apology, Sophia smiled lightly. "There's nothing to be sorry about. The feelings just weren't that deep. You can look around; I'm leaving."

She turned and went downstairs.

Elodie had already gotten the kite back up.

She was running around, sweating.

Seeing Sophia come out, Elodie waved at her. "Sophia, come play with us!"

Sophia smiled and shook her head. "You play by yourself. I have something to do and need to go. Don't tire yourself out."

She hurriedly left Alexander's house.

Elodie watched Sophia's back, stunned.

She didn't even care that the kite fell.

Elodie ran to Alexander and asked, "Alexander, did you make Sophia angry?"

Alexander frowned deeply. "My memory loss has hurt her a lot."

"You just realized that? I told you before, but you didn't believe me. Now that you know you're wrong, hurry up and make it up to her."

Alexander tapped Elodie's forehead. "You're sweating. No more playing. Your body can't handle it."

Elodie wiped the sweat from her face. "You're avoiding the issue. You lost Sophia and won't admit it."

"Who said I won't admit it? I'm just thinking about how to win her back."

Hearing this, Elodie widened her eyes in surprise. "Are you serious? Don't lie to me."

"Do you want to go to the beach?"

"Of course! I've never been to the beach. Alexander, are you taking Sophia too?"

"Go pack your things. We're leaving soon for a beach camping trip."

Hearing this, Elodie jumped with excitement. "How romantic! Alexander, I'll make sure Sophia shares a tent with you."

Sophia returned home, intending to take a nap, but the photo at Alexander's house kept haunting her mind.

It made her feel restless.

Just then, Paxon called. "Sophia, Dad is taking Mom to the beach for a vacation. Will you come with me?"

Sophia smiled. "Why do you want me to come? I'd just be intruding on your happy family."

"If you don't come, I'll be alone because Dad has to take care of Mom and the baby. He won't have time for me. I'll be so pitiful, probably swept away by the sea without them even noticing."

Hearing him play the pity card, Sophia couldn't help but laugh. "Just the three of you? No one else?"

"Yes, Lydia's family and Alissa's family are coming too. Sophia, I want you to come with me. Can you?"

Paxon spoke in a sweet, childlike voice, with a hint of pleading.

Sophia agreed without hesitation. "Okay, I'll come. When are we leaving?"

"Great! We're leaving tonight. Someone will come to pick you up soon. Pack your things quickly."

Sophia hadn't gone out for fun in a long time, and with so many friends joining, she felt happy.

She hummed a tune while packing her luggage.

Just as she finished, Paxon called to say the driver was at the door.

She grabbed her luggage and headed out.

Opening the door, Sophia was surprised to see Alexander standing there.

She was taken aback. "Why are you here?"
